My landlord forced my family to move out in under 30 days. My family and I secured a new location to live. Once we moved out of the formerly leased property, our former landlord claimed we destroyed her property and owe {$4200.00}. My family and I have yet to see any documentation that validates the claims of destruction of property. The former landlord hired an attorney who is now attempting to collect the debt. We still have no proof of this claim that we owe the amount the former landlord has submitted. The attorney has now sent a settlement request to remedy the alleged debt, but still has not provided proof that we in fact owe. We have requested this information from them twice. We are not sending any money since they have yet to prove this claim.
