I have been applying for a mortgage loan with Great Western and because the student loans are in a transition they are being unfair using that against me. I have been on a payment process pan doing what I am supposed to do prior to all this Covid holds and etc. So because my payment shows XXXX they are attempting to put in their own monthly mortgage payment not believing what is being shown. I have had a terrible time getting documentation from student loan servicing agencies to prove it. This has been an unnecessary stressful process that is out of my control and the mortgage industry needs to find another plan to hold people accountable in regards to their student loans. It feels like I am being targeted in a political war and this company has an issue with what the government is doing with student loans. Why Am I being punished for that? The loan officers are rude. If I was a white male I wouldnt be treated or talked to the way I have been.

I started the loan process with a company. The first error was with loan interest rates and points. I was told one thing and then suddenly the amounts were different. I was told by the broker I would not be charged for an appraisal until that was the only thing left to finalize the loan and the loan was going to be approved. I was sent an email saying there was an issue in underwriting and suddenly everyone stopped communicating with me. Then, I got a call from a lender verifying more info. I called the broker and she acted like she had no idea what was going on and said she would check into things and get back to me. It has been over a week and I am still out {$550.00} for the appraisal and I have no idea about the status of my loan.

Requested basic information from Great Western Home Loans, NLMS XXXX, on XX/XX/2018 through XXXX XXXX. Great Western ran my credit without my authorization. Spoke with other lenders on from XXXX XXXX and they did not run my credit. Spoke with XXXX XXXX on same day and they also agreed that no authorization was given for them to run my credit. Great Western parent company XXXX XXXX, out of XXXX, MD, is the company on my report that ran my credit without my written consent or verbal consent.
