This company sent me a letter stating I owed their client money. I disputed the letter within the 30 days of their letter stating I had to do so in writing or their demand would be considered valid. I disputed the letter right away and sent them a response denying a claim immediately. I was alerted my XXXX XXXX that I had a negative credit rating and a collection account which predated their initial letter to me. This company placed this collection account on my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX ; They officially notified me in XX/XX/XXXX and I responded in the same month denying the claim. This company has done 2 things : threatened me with a negative credit collection which is not a valid debt and misrepresented and lied about following the rules of me wanted thi=em to prove a debt. This debt also appears to be out of statute.
