My complaint is against Granite Bay Acceptance Co of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. This company has made several unsolicited and unauthorized checks of my credit over the last year. I live in Ohio, this company is in California. To my knowledge, I have not conducted any business with this company at any time. I have not applied for any loans or financing from this or any other company during the last 12 months, and have received no letters denying me credit with this organization as the financier, and therefore deem their inquiries as illegal. This regular checking of my credit has caused my credit score to drop, which I found during my regular annual review of my credit reports. They illegally checked my credit on XX/XX/2020, XX/XX/2020, and again on XX/XX/2020. I contacted them by email to find out the purpose of their inquiry, and to request they cease and desist, and have not received a reply. I do see upon XXXX search that there is existing litigation against this company for allegedly violating consumer privacy laws by checking credit and selling the information to third parties, and fear that the same may be occurring with me.

Found a promotional inquiry on my credit report from Granite Bay Acceptance. I did not initiate this request, have no relationship with the company and have no interest in the products they are offering. I am on the Opt-Out list and they are not honoring the Opt-Out. XXXX allowed a company that i've never done business with to check my report. I'm opted out of all prescreened offers. Granite Bay Acceptance think they're an exception to the rule. These credit bureaus need to be disbanded, they're allowed to do anything they want without repercussions. You must jump through hoops to get illegal items removed from the credit report because cra 's are in bed with every creditor.

On XX/XX/XXXX17 I mailed a request to remove an unauthorized inquiry from my credit report to the company and they have failed to respond. I mailed the inquiry to the address in which they provided to the credit bureau that provided me with the report.
