The original amount for this debt is {$1400.00}. I have made 8 payments on the amount of {$29.00}. Just today I received a letter from the company that I owe them {$1200.00} when I owe them {$1100.00}. Also someone XXXX XXXX called me and he was saying on the phone that he represents someone else who is a lawyer and that I need to settle this account as soon as possible. I have been making payments every month and those people are threatening me in order to make the payments faster and to pay off the debt faster using tactics that are illegal.

I received a " final notice '' from a collection company on a credit card that was paid in full in XX/XX/2007. When I called to advise them to send me supporting documents, I was met with threats of lawsuits, wage garnishment and liens. I do not owe the money. My credit report confirms this is a paid account.
