I am in need of immediate help in regards to resolving this matter. XXXX XXXX was my original finance company when I purchased the vehicle at the dealership. They went mia after about a year a half into my contract. No notice. NOTHING. I started receiving harassing phone calls at my job and on my cell phone, family members and friends too from Globe Acceptance. They accused me of providing false references from day one. My family information has not changed in over sixty years. This is my third PAID OFF vehicle. I am not a child or rookie or deserve to be talked to or treated as such. I am educated. I also have my original contract from XXXX and the original terms I agreed to. Globe Acceptance has NEVER acknowledged the year and half of payments to XXXX and reissued the total balance on my credit and on my payment account. I am not repaying payments they are not acknowledging for 18 months. In addition to that, Globe Acceptance has had some very shady business practices and I have left it be known that I will not tolerate it and I will take this matter beyond them.

First and foremost, Globe has illegally charged me a {$5.00} processing fee EVERY time I make a payment. This was not listed in my original contract, nor was I ever sent written notice or agreed to this XXXX applying to my account. They have never acknowledged the due date THAT I PICKED AT THE DEALERSHIP, THAT IS ALSO LISTED CLEARLY ON MY CONTRACT, or the grace period that comes with it.

Also, my initial finance company did not report any information to credit bureaus. Globe has not only reported inaccurate information to bureaus by providing a higher balance than what I owe and not acknowledging payments made on time, never late for a year and half to XXXX XXXX. This inaccurate information has affected employment and banking opportunities and prevented me from gaining housing as a fire victim.

I have also made it clear to them that as a victim of a heinous crime, that any reporting is not allowed at this moment while an award and case is pending. I utilized the vehicle for housing throughout the course of events that have occurred in my apartment complex ( arson fire directly below my unit under investigation ).

My original contract is still the same and Globe and not honored it. I have n't signed XXXX with them or agreed to anything. If I do n't pay the processing fees, I am threatened with repo. They even had a representative pop on at my residence on a Sunday afternoon to tell me I was eight days late and stuck the XXXX to my house front door. I was home and witnessed it. I still can not get the tape off property that is not even theirs.

As a result of their relentless harassment and shady business practices, I reached out to all three credit bureaus and an attorney. All the credit bureaus have since completely removed and deleted Globe Acceptance from my credit report and making efforts to be sure it does not pop back up.

At this point, I am not only requesting damages from them, but also full release of any remaining financing. I have paid over {$17000.00} to date and my payments were not acknowledged, I have been repeatedly treated unfairly, harassed at my home on a Sunday, accused of giving false information, threatened multiple times, and an inaccurate credit report that has been addressed by the bureaus, not them, and illegally charged processing fees that are not listed in my contract beyond a late fee. I am disgusted with Globe Finance. I find them negligent, disrespectful, fraudulent, nasty and I will be sure to let everyone know how they did a consumer. They did not even notify the dealership that the contract was no longer XXXX. There is nothing in writing that I agreed to to Globe directly. EVER. If you have anything else with my signature, it is fraudulent. Period. I am exhausted and disgusted.

I will forward all original document to the Consumer Finance Bureau. My records can be verified directly with the dealership. I am tired of Globe. They tried it.

This loan was transferred to Globe Acceptance in XXXX of XXXX I believe. When they purchased the loan, they purchased it knowing that this vehicle only had liability insurance ; which is the minimum state requirement for Missouri and only what the selling dealership had required at time of purchase. However, without any notice or verbal communication, I was charged for a " forced place insurance policy '' that I never requested nor received proof of. I 've called several times asking for proof and a declarations page of coverage for 1 year now, I 've yet to receive it. I also stated that I would not pay for the insurance since I complied with state requirements of having liability only. I had a conversation regarding switching my payment dates as well since I started a new job last year and spoke with XXXX who at the time was the manager there, he was a nice guy but is no longer there. I have proof of email exchanges between XXXX and I confirming that my payment dates had been changed. Low and behold, they never were. So when I call to inquire, I was told they could not change my payment dates since I signed a contract, which I did not with Globe Acceptance. And that XXXX was no longer there so I was basically screwed. My latest conversation was XXXX with XXXX reps, one lady called me inquiring about when I was going to make payment, I told her I made XXXX payments the day before, she asked me to hold and had me waiting for 20 minutes then hung up on me. I called back and spoke to another rep who was disrespectful right out the gate, she also hung up on me when I asked her to explain why I had to pay for a " current '' insurance policy when I have now have my own full coverage insurance. She told me verbatim that I need to pay for the insurance policy because it takes a couple of months to cancel then the insurance company would refund me. And she still never mentioned who the insurance was with or the coverage. Instead, she hung up on me. I called back again and spoke with the collections mgr who said she teaches her people to hang up on customers if they start getting loud. At no time during our discussion did i ever cuss, use derogatory language or inappropriate names, XXXX hung up on me as well. My entire experience with this company over the past year has been horrible. This company needs to be investigated for illegal business practices and harassment. I made 2 payments of {$410.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to take care of my entire XXXX 's payment all at once. I received a call the day after from XXXX in customer service asking me when I was going to make my payment since it was due on the XXXX. I asked her if she was unable to see that I made XXXX payments the day before and should n't owe anything for this month. She finally said that she did see the payments but that they applied those payments to the " forced-placed insurance '' balance that I supposedly owed and have disputed for over 1 year now. When I asked if they could reapply that towards my loan balance she immediately said no and that there was no way they could do that. However, on the attached snapshot from their payment confirmation screen, the verbiage clearly states that " I '' the consumer have the right to revoke this authorization ANY TIME prior to the settlement date by calling XXXX. When I stated that to XXXX she immediately said that it would be a courtesy for them to do that since they were n't legally required to and that they were not going to extend that courtesy to me. This is extremely illegal. I even asked why on there website does it not say what my payments are being applied to. I told Globe Acceptance if we are being held accountable for the writing in a contract then so should they be held accountable. They should n't just be able to take payments from consumers and apply the payments however they want without providing any notice or options to the consumer.

I co signed a car loan in XXXX. In XXXX, the person who was primary was arrested for drug charges and went to jail ; car was seized by the police dept and sold at auction. Remaining balance then came to me bc the origina ldebtor was in jail. I am not sure if they sued me or what happened, but my old lady friend who is now XXXX called Globe Acceptance ( mind you she isnt on the account and not related to me ) and she worked out $ XXXX payment plan. I started making payments in XXXX and have paid monthly until XXXX XXXX. In XXXX XXXX, I found out that they werent reporting to my credit on payments made and had as written off/bad debt. So i stopped the payments since it was bad debt and they original agreement for payback wasnt even between myself and the company, it was arranged by a 3rd party who wasnt asked or involved. Then they called me and the guy was super nasty mean of the phone saying they had jusdgement against me and they were going to garnish my business and take everything i had. I checked my credit and come to find out they reported me for not paying on my debt when they hadnt been reporting i was paying them. So it lowered my score even more. In the meantime, my office manager filed a dispute and asked for 6 months of payments back and we cancelled the card the automatic payment was being taken out on. Today, I called Globe Acceptance and they said {$1800.00} was refunded to my account. So i went to the bank and they told me no money had been credited to my account.They told me Globe tried to take a payment and it was denied. They reported no attempts to deposit money back to the card. So i called Globe Acceptance back and they told me that my bank, XXXX XXXX, had accepted the funds and they had my money. I went back to the bank again, again they reassurred me they dont have the money. I called Globe acceptance and they will not produce any receipt that XXXX received the funds but say it is my problem and now they added {$1800.00} back onto the original debt. Pus mind you, it is still on my credit as charged off-bad debt even though i have been paying for 4 years. XXXX XXXX insists they dont have the money and they wont produce any paperwork stating they dont have the funds. So i have paid {$1800.00} and someone has it - the bank or Globe and i am going to have to pay it all over again. I need help. They have never even went after the original loan holder, only me. It is not fair and now they are XXXX me out of {$1800.00} I dont have

I have a loan through XXXX XXXX on a vehicle. Ive had it for 3 years with only 11 payments remaining. My payment Is due on the XXXX each month and this month I had to wait till the XXXX to pay. XXXX, a gentlemen at the company called my work 7 times yesterday. I was busy when he called but he was giving out information about my account to other employees and even threatened to send someone to my job if they did not have me call back. The collection tactics with this company are unreasonable and completely illegal. I am also speaking with an attorney about rights that were violated by the comments made to employees at my job. I will be pursuing a lawsuit within the next 2 weeks. With the written statements I have from work and clear violations this company has made, theres more than enough to put them back in their place

I'm looking to purchase car an see on my credit report an old lender that was closed 3 years ago is reporting an account twice. Once with the original account an the second under a made up name so the can report twice. The account was closed XX/XX/XXXX with an original balance of XXXX. THey have one account under the correct name Globe Acceptance showing closed XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX balance. Then another Account as Globe Loan Company with XXXX an actively accruing interest since the close date of XX/XX/XXXX. I asked them to remove it an he said I remove the lower balance one. an I stated why are you reporting twice an he said dont worry about that I ll get to it eventually. Globe Acceptance, who purchased my auto loan, refuses to provide statements of any kind and will only tell me my balance over the phone. I had requested and received on a few occasions a ledger, but they have told me that I will receive nothing further in terms of documentation regarding my loan. I was told that my XXXX bank statement served as record of payments to them. My loan is current and I have never been late or missed a payment.
