This company has engaged in intimidation tactics and harassment, as well as violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They started contacting me on XX/XX/XXXX using a 3rd party called XXXX XXXX XXXX. This 3rd party contacted my brother as well on this day. Both messages mentioned that a civil suit was scheduled to be issued in XXXX county. Asking me to contact Global Resolution Services. XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted again on XX/XX/XXXX asking me to get contact Global Resolution Services regarding a pending civil suit scheduled to be filed out to XXXX county. The advocate program, I'm assuming another 3rd party contacted me on XX/XX/XXXX for an upcoming appearance in XXXX county. They apologized and said the suit is still going through tomorrow. They asked me to contact Global Resolution Services. My brother was contacted again and my mother was contacted for the first time. The advocate program contacted again on XX/XX/XXXX for an upcoming appearance in XXXX county. They apologized and said the suit is still going through Monday morning. They asked me to contact Global Resolution Services. Global and associate, I'm assuming is Global Resolution Services contacted me on XXXX for a case that their office is handling that is pending litigation. If they didn't hear from me by end of day they would mark as an intentional refusal to comply. If I refuse to contest the allegations a default judgement will be filed without my consent. They contacted my brother again, my mother again, and my father. My mother did answer this call to ask them to stop calling and they discussed details of the alleged debt with my mother. This company has shown a pattern of intimidation by threatening litigation and a cilvil suit for over 2 months. This has caused me emotional distress. They have violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by contacting my family members multiple times and discussing details of the alleged debt with my family. Cease and desist is being mailed out XXXX.

This complaint is in reference to Global Resolution Group based in XXXX NY. I received a call on my work phone at XXXX, cell phone at XXXX, they called my ex-husband at XXXX, and finally called my husband at XXXX all on XXXX XXXX 2017. When they spoke with my husband, they told him they were trying to reach me in reference to a claim against me. They wanted him to verify my date of birth and my ssn which he refused to do over the phone and told them they would need to send something to us in writing via mail. They told my husband they were going to flag this as a forced claim and send it on up. I looked them up online and could find very little information about them or their company aside from their website. There are very few reviews about this company. I also looked them up on the Department of Professional Occupational Regulation in New York and could not find them listed as a licensed business in New York. Internet loans are not legal in Virginia and there have been several class action law suits filed in the last few weeks against internet loan and payday loan lenders. The person who called stated ( on my voicemail ) he was doing a pre-legal review of my claim. This is the first time I have even been contacted by this " company '' and feel as though they were threatening to take legal action against me. I also tried to find the location of the company on XXXX maps and the address they have listed shows up as a tree on the satellite imagery. Interestingly this group is located on the same block that internet lenders and payday lenders have listed as entities loans have been " sold to '' as well, they are all within a one mile radius of each other.

I have recently started to receive calls from a company representing themselves as the XXXX XXXX. They are blocking the number they are calling from and using a fake number of XXXX, which the XXXX prefix is not a legit XXXX, WA or XXXX county number set. In the pre-recorded voicemail they are advising that they are trying to contact me about a legal matter and I have not returned their calls. They leave a call back number of XXXX upon looking up this number I am directed to the website www.globalrg.com, which is a debt collection agency, based out of New York state. Upon researching the company they are not licensed in the State of Washington where I reside. Nor are they licensed in any of the states I have lived in previously over the last decade. In the state of Washington per XXXX XXXX to collect a debt in the state of WA you must be license and bonded with the state, which this company is not. I do not feel as though this is a legit debt owed as I have not received any documentation via US Mail from this company.

My landlord sent this text messages .. verbatim ... ... Good morning. While I am uncertain how my phone number was listed, Global Resolutions phoned me yesterday and need you to call XXXX to resolve some situation. I acknowledged I would inform you. this is humiliating and wrong to tell my landlord that i need to call and call to resolve an issue. that alone is breaching my privacy. Where did they get her number to begin with sounds more like skip tracing which I thought was illegal now. please have them dnc her number and stop this mental and emotional abusive tactics

My husband owes a credit card debt for {$450.00}. The account was opened with his permission by me, his wife. The balance is in collections, and the collection agency is threatening to file charges for fraud since my husband is incarcerated. I offered to send them written authorization from my husband, but they declined. This card was opened to purchase belongings for my husband since he wws coming home soon. I set up payment arrangements because of the threat. I made one payment, but was unable to pay more because my income is not enough to pay them among my other household bills. I should n't have to live on fear of this company because of this. I offered to send them permission from my husband, but they declined so they denied my right to prove it.

I received numerous calls on XX/XX/XXXX asking me to verify my personal information and they claimed I owed a debt. They called my mother the same day. They have also called my nephew looking for me. The debt was supposedly a payday loan that occurred in XX/XX/XXXX and was deposited to a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I don't live in XXXX and never have. I didn't take out a payday loan. The loan was in the amount of XXXX. They threatened me with legal action. I told the woman to go do what she wants to do. I didn't make the loan IF it even exists. Also it would be small claims here in XXXX if they try to file something. Whatever, I will go to court. I didn't make the loan.

Company is currently using an auto dialer with a recording message that i am currently under investigation for my assets. Gr group /global resolution keeps calling me in regards to a pre legal debt. I have never recieved any letters or notices. They have reached out to family and friends to tell them there could be a judgement against me for a debt and for them to reach me. Harassing me and my family and I don't even know for what debt. They are illegally disclosing information.
