On XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX, a man called from XXXX to tell me that he was offering me a settlement on a loan. I called him back and asked who the loan was from and when, but he just said it was " a personal installment loan company '', then kept reading some kind of script. He initially sounded like said he was with XXXX XXXX XXXX and that Global Processing Services him enlisted to mediate a settlement in the amount of {$370.00} plus a {$13.00} processing fee. I asked for documentation. He said that in XXXX, they sent a letter to me at an address I haven't lived at, in a state I haven't lived in, since XXXX. He said it was charged off in XXXX. He said if it went to court it my wages would be garnished, so give him a credit card today for the {$370.00} and that since the creditor sent the letter to the wrong address, he would waive the {$13.00} fee. I told him I had to wait until XXXX, and he said he had to take a card number but settled for the last four digits ( which I will be getting another card now ). He put me on hold for some kind of verifier to talk to me. During that time, I called XXXX XXXX 's office from a different phone and the receptionist stated that I was not in their system for any mediation, then the verifier got on the phone and stated his name is XXXX XXXX, I asked the receptionist if he worked there, and she said no and not to give them any more information. I told the man that I didn't believe that they were legit and hung up. XXXX called me right back from XXXX saying he got a message that I ended the call ( but he called way too quickly to have gotten a message ) and I told him about my call. He then said he was XXXX XXXX and that he was with Global Processing Services. I asked him for a verification letter to be sent to me, he said I couldn't have it until I paid. He said he did an NCIC search on me ( yet they still had a XXXX XXXX XXXX address for me ). Then he said since they sent me a letter ( to a very old address, my address is current on my CRs ) and I refused to cooperate, now {$1800.00} will be put on my credit and that I can either dispute it, pay it, or have my wages garnished. I told him if the debt is legitimately mine then I want to pay it, but I need to see the docs. He screamed at me " do you want to do this or not ''. I told him he could speak with a bully voice all he wanted but I have a right to see the letter. He said something and hung up on me. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX 's live chat agent stated that they believe this company to be a scam and suggested that I report this to Consumer Finance.

This company called from ( XXXX ) XXXX and left a message stating the following : We are filing legal paperwork with your county in your state within the next 24 to 48 hours due to an unresolved charge off debt. If you want to prevent any legal filings we are offering an economic hardship settlement in the amount of {$380.00} to pay off your account and prevent any leagl action taking place. For more detailed information on how to take advantage of the settlement opportunity, you can contact our office directly at area code XXXX, that's area code XXXX. Thank you.
I called the number back and asked for details like the creditor name, account number, date of the loan, and original amount. They could not provide any of the information I requested. I asked them to provide information about their company they said is called, " Global Processing Services, '' a " mediation service '' and they directed me to their website. They do not appear to be licensed and are listed online by many people as a scam trying to collect money for a fake debt. When I asked for their license number they hung up on me. I called back and said I would pay with a check so I could get their address and possibly trace the payment to bring charges against them but they would not take a check, only a credit or debit card.
I would like this company to be investigated and shut down to stop them from robbing people of money they do not owe.

I received a few calls with a request to return a phone call at XXXX who states they are Global Processing Services and act as bad debt mediating. This phone I believe help gs to XXXX count or city. FL. They claim in 2016 I took out a payday loan online with IP address XXXX. This ip address belongs to someone in AZ, I don't live there. All they could tell me was it a main lender from XXXX XXXX through XXXX in 2016. They could not tell me what the supposed contract was nor could they give me a specific date in 2016 not could they send my anything, but if I called the company they wouldn't know anything because they " sold '' the debt to them, but this Global doesn't have the contract the client does. They stated {$500.00} was wire transferred into my account, which have never happened, confirmed with my bank. Supposedly I have been contact via mail which has never happened. They state I have a {$1700.00} balance which they will settle for {$380.00} but I need to give them my payment information over the phone. This organization has my address and last XXXX of social. I was hung up twice and on the third time I called I was given different information about where this pay day loan came from. They stated they are a 2nd debt collector but it has not hit my credit yet.

received fraud collection call voicemail stating the below from phone # XXXX didn't identify who they are, what the debt is or who they were calling for.

this person didn't identify who they are, who the company is, what the debit is, or who they were even calling for. as a govt agency it is literally your job to handle the complaints put forth to your office but as past notices have gone unworked by your office I have very little expectation that anything will be done about this complaint! would be nice to see that the money stolen from our pay actually goes to people working will see if you guys can actually do your XXXX jobs!

XX/XX/ {$380.00} Called relatives about a pending legal matter with a case number and that I needed to call back immediately.
They called me and left a message. 3 different numbers, one private number.
They know where I live, and work and will be filing charges against me within 24-48 hours. The caller also stated that they demand a face-to-face interaction, will go to my place of employment ( on VM which is saved ) and will talk to my supervisor, and will visit my home.
If I paid {$380.00}, they would consider the debt a " charge off. '' Even if I had a debt, it would have occurred in Michigan over 12 years ago. I have lived in Colorado since. Both states ' statute of limitations of 6 years has been met.
I called 2 of the numbers. Same office, same questions & answers. Both asked for my SSN and DOB. I refused to give either. Said they couldn't release information without those numbers.

Multiple phone calls from XXXX and texts. When I called the number I was not allowed to finish my sentences. I was interrupted and told if I did not pay right now I would be sued. I requested written debt information regarding this debt and settlement information and how to pay if its legitimate but I was interrupted and told NO YOU MUST PAY NOW OR NOTHING WRITTEN WILL BE SENT TO YOU. I requested written notification and stop calling me but the calls keep coming.

I keep getting calls and texts from Global Processing Services stating I have an unpaid loan which is not the case. Even if I had an old loan I just completed XXXX XXXX in XXXX and the debt would be invalid. Refused to provide names, they refused to provide debt validation and hung up when I mention it or tell them they are violating Federal laws regarding bankruptcy as well as FDCPA.

I keep receiving threatening calls on my personal phone, at place of employment. They have even called my family, friends, landlord threatening and harassing calls. I want the calls to stop ASAP.
