I am XXXX XXXX XXXX, within a provisional state however they are not willing to give me the SCRA benefits. Since I am eligiblefor SCRA. With my tax state being Ohio, I am a provisional state which I qualify for. Attached is my XXXX that show Ohio as my tax state, XXXX Individuals Covered by the SCRA Members of the XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX SCRA protections extend to servicemembers ' dependents, which generally include spouses, children, or any other individuals for whom the servicemember provided more than one-half of the individuals ' support for 180 days immediately preceding application for relief under the Act. ( including XXXX ordered to XXXX XXXX ). Ohio extends SCRA benefits for debt incurred WHILE XXXX XXXX. This means that any debt incurred after enlistment is subject to the 6 % interest cap. Below is the reference : 7.1. Interest Rate Cap To help ease financial burdens created by XXXX XXXX service, Section 527 of the SCRA extends the 6 % interest cap on all debts, not just those incurred prior to XXXX XXXX. including debts, not just those incurred prior to XXXX XXXX. creditor must forgive - not defer - interest greater than six percent per year. See 50 U.S.C. {$3900.00} ( a ) ( 2 ). The creditor must forgive this interest retroactively. See id. at XXXX ( a ) ( 1 ) & ( b ) ( 2 ). The creditor is also prohibited from accelerating the payment of principal in response to a properly made request for a six percent interest rate cap. Id. at {$3900.00} ( a ) ( 3 ). ''

My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contracted with XXXX XXXX at Global Financial to assist in finding me a loan to purchase property at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, AR from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I sent her a cashiers check in the amount of {$2800.00} which was to be returned to me if they were not successful in securing a lender of my satisfaction, which they were unable to do. On XX/XX/2019, I requested that the money be returned to me. This has not happened and the XXXX has stated that the owner has given her several statements as to when the money will be returned. I would like to file a complaint with your department in the hopes of retrieving my deposit which I was assured would be placed in escrow and returned to me upon them not being able to meet their obligations to me. XXXX XXXX has now informed me that the owner of Global Financial has died and his wife is now running the company. Her name is XXXX XXXX, phone number XXXX. I spoke with her and she gave me a response that she would send me a check in two weeks after she told Ms. XXXX ( according to her ) that the check had already been cut and would go out the next day. I have tried to contact Ms. XXXX again numerous times and have not been successful in reaching her. She has not returned messages that I have left. I have attempted to file a complaint online but was not successful. I am not sure what I was doing incorrectly. I fill also follow-up this email with a phone call to your department on Monday.

Closed on home on Friday XX/XX/2019. Company had representative to contact me about the fee that the mortgage company removed from the contract in order for me to buy the home. We agreed for me to pay back XXXX. However, I couldn't do it in the 24 hours that they asked for after closing. I communicated that they would be paid once me and my wife got the money. We were harrassed with calls and a message on social media. I then received a call from a local blogger in which I didn't answer the call on Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX. The blogger got my info from the company. They posted my phone number online. Additionally, I did pay the money back on Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX via XXXX. They then responded by saying that they didn't agree to the amount of {$1000.00}. They told me that I had 24 hours to pay the {$1000.00}. After that, they would get a promissory note for me to sign for another {$1000.00}. I do have the message that proves that I was only supposed to pay back {$1000.00} and not the {$3000.00}.
