About a month ago - I received a notice that my business had a UCC-Lien against it and my XXXX and XXXX were frozen. I then received a vague letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX saying I owed them {$2200.00}. I emailed them and told them I did not sign a contract with Giggle Finance ( who's office is located inside a XXXX in XXXX ) - they responded with the forged document with inaccurate information and an IP address under my " signature. '' I looked up the IP address and it was located in a city in Michigan I have never been. I got no email response from XXXX and received a letter yesterday they will recommend further action be taken against me if I do not call. I have called several times with no answer. I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX in Michigan who applied for a " business '' loan with a predatory company a few months ago. We did not finalize any details or sign a contract. While I was waiting to finalize amount and interest with them, I noticed that the company started taking money out of my account. The owner of the business provided a contract with a fraudulent signature when I inquired about the transactions. My bank recommended I reverse all transactions with them. They have filed a UCC LIEN against me- and my personal accounts are now frozen. I am have suffered immense mental anguish from this situation. I tried to get a lawyer that works against these particular debt collectors but could not be represented as they filed under commercial debt while freezing and threatening my personal assets. I am missing out on potential sales as a XXXX XXXX XXXX I am afraid to use the banking system because I feel like they are going to continue to come after me. I applied for a small business loan when I was short on cash earlier this year. Giggle Finance was recommended through a rideshare app - so I decided to try applying. The application process was several questions- including a link to your bank account for " verification. '' The company told me I was approved for {$600.00} and sent me a text message that they would be in touch shortly to finalize details. As I was awaiting the finalization call, I noticed that they started taking money out of my account. I texted back the number that sent me the initial message and asked what was going on - only to realize that the number I had was someone's personal line as they responded late in the evening. She said they were beginning remittance on the {$1100.00} that I owed them. I told her I had not agreed to that, finalized, or signed a contract. She sent me an email with a contract with a fraudulent signature. I call my bank immediately and told them what was happening. They told me to reverse all transactions between the company- as it sounded like a scam. Several months letter I received a letter in the mail from the Secretary of State that there was a UCC Lien placed on my name. I was trying to use a new card for breakfast- as I had to close my old account due to this, and my card was declined. I contacted the card distributor and they said my assets were frozen and to contact XXXX, XXXX, & XXXX for details. Upon contact they sent me the same fraudulent contract and said I owed Giggle {$2200.00} I explained to them the situation with no reply- only to receive an increasingly threatening letter that they were going to pursue further action against me. I have asked them for a breakdown of charges and validation of debt with no response. As a XXXX XXXX XXXX this continues to hurt my mental health and business I have been building for the last decade.

On XX/XX/XXXX I contracted for a loan with Giggle Finance for my business XXXX XXXX XXXX. I gave authorization for the ACH debit of funds from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX bank account ending in XXXX. I have XXXX accounts in total with XXXX. Giggle Finance is accessing my other business accounts randomly and withdrawing funds at different increments. I have not failed to make any payments. From XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX Giggle has withdrawn their XXXX without incident. On XX/XX/XXXX Giggle finance gained unauthorized access to XXXX of my other business accounts and withdrew funding in the amount of XXXX. The account is for a totally different business and is not listed in the contract. The XXXX account was the account that I gave permission to use to repay the loan. I immediately contacted Giggle Finance XXXX XXXX and spoke with XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX. He was so rude and unprofessional blaming me for their mistake. He told me that I could not revoke the ACH authorization which is in direct conflict with what is stated in section XXXX last paragraph. I do not want Giggle Finance accessing my accounts. This is the beginning stage of an accounting nightmare. I own several businesses and would never know which account they are accessing until after the fact. Further, I would never know where to deposit the funds for the loan. Giggle Finance has failed to provide me with any confirmation of cancellation of the ACH authorization. I believe this is a fraudulent company and I don't feel that I can trust this. I hope this can be investigated. I put in writing XXXX request to remove the ACH authorization. XXXX specifically argued with me about my right to request ACH cancellation. He is misrepresented the contract intentionally. I am submitting a copy of the contract and bank activity records to show that the money was in the XXXX account and that there was no reason to access any other account. I discovered this and had to start transferring money so that my rent check for my store would not bounce. This has caused me much discomfort and stress. The worst part was when XXXX blamed me for this.

Hello, I am writing to file a formal complaint against Giggle Finance, a company that markets a financial product that is misleading and deceptive. The product in question is marketed as a loan, but in reality, it is not a loan at all. Instead, it is a purchase of future revenue from the borrower 's business earnings. This deceptive marketing practice is both illegal and unethical, and it puts vulnerable borrowers at risk. Giggle Finance 's website repeatedly markets the product as a loan, even though the contract explicitly rejects the notion that it is a loan. This is a clear case of false advertising, as it misleads potential borrowers into thinking they are getting a loan when they are not. The website also fraudulently promises that borrowers ( who are actually " sellers '' of their future revenue ) have " extreme '' flexibility with repayments and can repay their " loans '' at their own pace. However, the fine print in the contract requires them to pay a required amount weekly, which is far from flexible. This deceptive marketing practice puts vulnerable borrowers at risk of financial ruin. Many people who take out loans are already struggling financially, and they may not fully understand the terms and conditions of the loan they are taking out. By misrepresenting the product as a loan, Giggle Finance is taking advantage of these vulnerable borrowers and putting them in a worse financial situation. Therefore, I urge the CFPB to investigate Giggle Finance 's marketing practices and take appropriate action against the company. This kind of misleading and deceptive marketing is both illegal and unethical, and it should not be tolerated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I would like to file a formal complaint against Giggle Finance based in XXXX, FL. Giggle Finance is a company that gives short term loans to help XXXX XXXX with their business expenses. However, the terms of the " loan '' are not very clear. From my understanding they lend money in exchange for future revenue from your business that is paid in weekly payments. I applied for {$500.00} and when the money was deposited the origination fee was automatically debited so I did not receive the full {$500.00} that I originally was approved for. The company is known to be a predatory lender with very high and confusing interest rate amounts. I recently contacted the company after an issue with their system caused a payment to not be withdrawn. The problem was corrected and then I requested a copy of all payments that I have made up until now ; which the company complied with. However, when the company sent the information over to me they told me that they can legally report missed payments after just one day, which I know to be completely false and against the law. Please see the attached image containing the text message from a company representative stating the 1 day missed payment reporting. I then advised them that I would seek the services of a lawyer if they continue to give false information, to which I was told that if I missed a payment I would incur a default fee of {$1500.00}, to which I had no knowledge of and I believe is illegal. Also have proof of a company rep telling me about this below. Giggle Finance is a predatory lender with unclear business practices, and I hope that consumers are made aware of this company.

I applied online for a payday business loan from Giggle Finance on XX/XX/2022 and signed a one page contract ( company only made one page visible to me upon signing ) by email. I immediately decided I did not want the loan and tried to contact the lender repeatedly to cancel the loan entirely and they never answered or responded to my phone calls. This was an immediate red flag. I received an ACH deposit in the amount of {$450.00} on XX/XX/2022 & contacted my bank right away to block the merchant transactions as I suspected this lender may not be trustworthy. I attempted to repay the funds that were disbursed prior to cancelling my card, but their website does not give the borrower any option to set up an account and make payments and still they were not answering any calls to their company phone. Now 3 months later after NO CONTACT from the lender they have forwarded the matter to a collection firm and filed a UCC lien with the state against my business assets that caused a random cash app account to be frozen. Per the collection firm, they are demanding over {$1000.00} to settle the debt which is laughable. The collection firm has also stated that issue has occurred with several other borrowers on behalf of this company. Again, Giggle has made zero effort to contact me directly and they have not answered any phone calls to their company phone, which I suspect they do on purpose to avoid listening to consumer concerns about their predatory lending practices. I have only been in contact with them through the debt collection firm over the past week of XXXX and they are lying and deceiving even them! Please beware!

I applied for their rideshare employed payday advance loan. I was approved for XXXX yesterday XX/XX/2022 and opted to also pay XXXX to expitite the process and be funded immediately. I was approved and routed to a webpage that said to text ( XXXX ) XXXX to schedule a funding call which I immediately thought odd but I texted it at XXXX am XX/XX/2022 and they responded that a team member would call me during business hours but that they had a high volume of funding requests and it would be hours before someone would call. Nobody called but as I noticed the texts weren't automated responses so I decided to send another testing that theory this morning XX/XX/2022 stating that I am still waiting on a call and also asked as there a number that I could call. It's emergency funding ... approved yesterday soooooo I made it known that I would rather not wait days and days and would prefer to call ; as I should be allowed to call any real financial establishment and stated that it sounded fraudulent. Whomever is texting back on that phone number with all of my banking and personal info responded back that since I was asking these type of questions and seemed dissatisfied that they were canceling my application instead of calling me. I waited 10 minutes and checked the website again and my application is still pending that phone call. Something about this financial company is not right, This doesn't seem to follow any of the federally mandated guidelines or process for these kind of loans. I have a screenshot of the texted conversation and a screenshot taken just as I type this of my account page on their website.

The events went like this : XXXX. XX/XX/2023 - Giggle Finance approved me for a funds of {$900.00} XXXX. XX/XX/2023 - Giggle Finance deposited {$830.00} into my account ( therefore, taking out the fee I thought they were going to take as they state on their website ). XXXX. XX/XX/2023 - Email only sent ( no paperwork ) congratulating on approving me for {$900.00} and that payments of {$120.00} would be debited or paid weekly. XXXX. Log into my account with Giggle Finance and the dashboard for my account that on XX/XX/2023 they funded me {$1300.00}!!! Which is completely not true per their email and my bank statement showing my deposits. XXXX. They are now requesting XXXX payback an entire {$1300.00} when they already took out a fee from their payment ; and since this is an advance ( not a loan ) should not involve interest payments. XXXX. In the dashboard, they state that the funding will not impact credit score but the website shows that they will report to the credit bureaus. Anyway you can help is greatly appreciated to stop them from their predatory practices. Thanks!

On Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX I Was Contacted Through Text Message For XXXX Hours By Someone Unnamed Who Was Hassling Me For Money. I Was Then Threatened By Them Stating Attorneys And Lawyers Will Reach Out XXXX Me Tomorrow For {$1500.00} If I Didnt Pay {$68.00}. I Stated I Didnt Get Paid Till XXXX And They Said I Had Till XXXX Or The Collections Department Will Get The Notice. I Then Tried To Pay On The Website Around XXXX Because My Check Was Late And I Was Told The Collections Department Will Contact Me Tomorrow. I Proceeded To Pay And The Website Was So Insecure I Clicked Pay Now And It Processed XXXX Payments Instead Of XXXX. After That Payment I Turned Off My Card And Active Bank Account Off And Deactivated Them At XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX At XXXX And XXXX I Was Contacted Stating The Payment Can not Be Processed Even Though I Paid For This Week And Turned Off The Card.

I was funded on XX/XX/XXXX, I fell behind on payments due to unexpected unemployment and needed to revoke XXXX authorization to avoid overdrafting. I made manual payment of XXXX in XXXX, and did not reinstate XXXX authorization. However on XX/XX/XXXX my account was automatically debited {$450.00}. This is the equivalent of SIX payments. I was given no warning of their intent to do this beforehand, just a text message after the fact. I questioned why my account was wrongfully debited and received no answer as of yet. The company makes no effort to communicate with me until AFTER they have already taken wrongful action. ( In the below photo from XX/XX/XXXX you can see that they have requested for me to send an email and reinstate XXXX authorization, I did not do that. They made no mention of taking six payments out at one time. )

I initially found out about XXXX via an online advertisement, and decided to check it out. Upon applying for the loan, I noticed that the application process was fairly simple. I was approved for {$810.00}, {$12.00} of which would be used to expedite the funds transfer into my account. The amount to be paid back was {$1300.00}, spread out over a 10-week period, which is extremely high for a pay day loan, but I was limited on options and decided to go through with it anyway. When the funds were issued to my account, I only received {$740.00}. Seeing this, I figured that the {$58.00} would be deducted from the balance or my first payment but it wasnt. This led me to do a little more research where I found out that the company was a scam that preys on struggling gig workers and entrepreneurs.

I applied for a loan and I was approved for {$1400.00} and after deducting their XXXX XXXX Origination Fee, they funded me {$1200.00}. So now they said I must payback {$2200.00} ( XXXX weekly payments of {$220.00} ). I have made XXXX payments totaling {$1500.00} and I still have XXXX more payments remaining totaling {$660.00}. Today, I was told I was approved for a loan and I signed the contract. However, after I signed the contract I never received another email and the funds were never deposited into my account. I contacted the company and they provided the following response : Although you were initially approved by our automated review, our underwriting team takes many factors into consideration other than cash flow prior to final approval for funding. Giggle finance charges much more interest allowed by Georgia law. To get around this they say its not a loan. They say they are giving you money for a portion of your revenue. They take it out weekly like a payday loan. When I blocked my debit card they started taking it out of my checking using information they got when I applied for the loan. I dont believe I ever authorized an ACH but if I did I talked to them on text and told them I revoked authorization but they wont stop. If filed disputes with my bank.

I wanted to pay off my loan, but the website will not accept my payment. Then, when I tried to contact the company to work it out, all contact information was wrong. There was no response. Now, there is no way to remove my card information from the system and stop them collecting each week. They want to charge me over {$1000.00} extra by not allowing me to pay off my loan now by having no contact information. I want this company prosecuted.
