XXXX XXXX , with Shaffer Law, XXXX , has called my place of employment 2 times in 2 days. The first call, X/XX/17 , XXXX , asking for myself- XXXX XXXX . I was on a phone call with a customer. The second call, X/XX/17 , XXXX , he asked to speak to Human Resources. H e asked the HR person questions, and wanted to know when I started working at my place of employment. I have already entered a dispute on the collection they are looking at. Yet, they continue to call my place of employment. I called XXXX , and verified his name and correct spelling, and advised him- " I have been receiving numerous calls at work and as I understand it under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act that is a violation, I will be reporting your agency for this violation. Do not call me at work again. " I am working on my credit and taking care of thikgs as I can, but as I said I had already started a dispute when this XXXX called my HR co-worker today. I do not appreciate the harassment and embarrassment at my work, nor is it legal. I want action taken against this company. I lived at XXXX XXXX for approximately ( XXXX ) years. The housing authority notified management that if certain repairs are not made, the residents would have to move. We were given ( XXXX ) months notice. I moved to my current address in XXXX of XXXX. Approximately XXXX years ago I began getting these notices from a collection agency Shaffer & Associates XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$1600.00} XXXX I contacted " XXXX '' the manager. She said to contact XXXX at the main office and let her know that it was NOT OWED. I never spoke with XXXX until today. She became belligerent saying I owed this money. I have no idea what this is about. I left with a clean slate. I've tried speaking to all ( 3 ) to no avail.

I received a collection letter on XX/XX/XXXX for property damage and unpaid rent. {$3.00}, XXXX is the amount owed. I do not owe this debt and I also had no knowledge of this debt.The rental company kept my deposit on XX/XX/XXXX so I was under the impression that they would repair the property with the kept deposit. I spoke to the collection office on XX/XX/XXXX and it was then that I learned of the debt which I believe is not valid.

I even have on my greeting that if it is a solicitation to remove me from whatever list, yet I continue to get a call from them AT LEAST once a day, sometimes several times per day. They never leave a message.
