1. GEORGIA STUDENT FINANCE Account Number : XXXX Please correct this inaccurate information on my credit report. I recently pulled my credit report from your Bureau and my attorneys and I had a chance to go over my credit report and in amazement, that you have decided to report me 120 days late on this account from the month of XX/XX/XXXX up to the month of XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately disputed this information with GEORGIA STUDENT FINANCE and the results of the investigation came back " verified ''. Not only was I never late on this account, but according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), the information furnisher is required to notify me of the insertion of negative listings. Since I have disputed the lates with the creditor, and you obviously " verified '' them, I am very curious as to what kinds of " records '' you may have for this alleged account. I am very confident that you are in violation of the ( FCRA ) and ( FCBA ) sections ( 1666, 1666a. 1666b., and 1666c. ) as stated below : 1666. Correction of billing errors ( b ) Billing error ( 4 ) The creditor 's failure to reflect properly on a statement, a payment made by the obligor or a credit issued to the obligor. ( 5 ) A computation error or similar error of an accounting nature of the creditor on a statement. ( 6 ) Failure to transmit the statement required under section 1637 ( b ) of this title to the last address of the obligor which has been disclosed to the creditor, unless that address was furnished less than twenty days before the end of the billing cycle for which the statement is required. ( 7 ) Any other error described in regulations of the Bureau. 1666a. Regulation of credit reports ( a ) Reports by creditor on obligor 's failure to pay amount regarded as billing error After receiving a notice from an obligor as provided in section 1666 ( a ) of this title, a creditor or his agent may not directly or indirectly threaten to report to any person adversely on the obligor 's credit rating or credit standing because of the obligor 's failure to pay the amount indicated by the obligor under section 1666 ( a ) ( 2 ) of this title, and such amount may not be reported as delinquent to any third party until the creditor has met the requirements of section 1666 of this title and has allowed the obligor the same number of days ( not less than ten ) thereafter to make payment as is provided under the credit agreement with the obligor for the payment of undisputed amounts. ( b ) Reports by creditor on delinquent amounts in dispute ; notification of obligor of parties notified of delinquency If a creditor receives a further written notice from an obligor that an amount is still in dispute within the time allowed for payment under subsection ( a ) of this section, a creditor may not report to any third party that the amount of the obligor is delinquent because the obligor has failed to pay an amount which he has indicated under section 1666 ( a ) ( 2 ) of this title, unless the creditor also reports that the amount is in dispute and, at the same time, notifies the obligor of the name and address of each party to whom the creditor is reporting information concerning the delinquency. ( c ) Reports by creditor of subsequent resolution of delinquent amounts A creditor shall report any subsequent resolution of any delinquencies reported pursuant to subsection ( b ) to the parties to whom such delinquencies were initially reported. 1666b. Timing of payments ( a ) Time to make payments A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose, unless the creditor has adopted reasonable procedures designed to ensure that each periodic statement including the information required by section 1637 ( b ) of this title is mailed or delivered to the consumer not later than 21 days before the payment due date. Because I take my credit very seriously, I contacted every name and account that was listed on the report. I was again very shocked by the multiple names, account numbers and figures. Included with this letter, is every letter written to those who have hampered my ability to obtain credit. I believe that any judge that looks over the report would agree that it is a violation of both the FCRA, CCPA and FACTA. The following accounts were listed on your report and I have demanded from them a full accounting and five years worth of records to see if their accounts were in violation of the FAIR CREDIT BILLING ACT ( FCBA ). We also demanded signed contracts, agreements or any legal paperwork that would tie us to the following accounts. Under the FCRA, you are required to conduct an investigation on this account if I request it. I DEMAND to see all 100 % verifiable proof that I was indeed Verifiably late on these accounts and the creditor fulfilled its obligations under ( FCBA 1666 ( a ) ( 2 ) ), As I was never notified of a billing delinquency on my accounts, which the creditor must do under section ( FCBA1666 ( b ) ( 6 ). I DEMAND to see proof that I was mailed my statement to the correct address notifying me of both payment due date and delinquency of payment on the account. If you can not provide 100 % Verifiable proof and proper documentation that the CREDITOR fulfilled its obligations under the ( FCBA ) and ( FCRA ), I therefore demand these late payments be removed from my account or I will be forced to be in contact with the Attorney General of my State and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I therefore am submitting my written request to you to conduct an investigation. Per the FCRA, you have 30 days to conduct this investigation and respond to my request. If you do not respond within this time period, per the FCRA, you must remove this negative information. Thank you for your time, XXXX XXXX SS # : XXXX Date of Birth : XX/XX/XXXX XXXX : Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Iowa XXXX

I have had Federal Student loan since 2007, that 's when I have began my XXXX XXXX College and where I had hoped that after completing my course I will start my professional career but it all ended up to nothing counselor at the school did not help me at all while being in the school or after completing did not guide me to get job and to start my career. they lied to me. it was really frustrating and it 's all hurting up until now. at first in 2007, at that time my loan was approved by the company called Georgia Student Finance XXXX I was not able to afford the expenses and at that time I really need the job with high pay. seeing that people at the college showed us big dreams but at the end we got nothing but just to pay off the loan we got just to learn nothing. after not finding the job in field I have worked hard in checkers and began making my monthly payments because I really did not want it ruined my credit. my account has been transferred to XXXX XXXX XXXX, I have tried and explained to them that currently I am not working and explained them all in details how the school have cheated me but they are saying they can not help. and MOST important when I log into my American educational Service account online I see everything including the date my loan granted but I do not see my payment history from the beginning to up until now, i made a lot of payments toward my loan and on the payments checks I have wrote a note to apply all towards my principal balance but now even after i have made those payments I do not see the principal balance has been gone down in fact they just keep like to add interest on top it. i have requested XXXX and XXXX several times why the payments I have made toward my principal loan while my account was with XXXX why does not reflect on my account or when i ask them I need see it. XXXX just say they will send the request to my previous loan carrier XXXX and they will mail you, i never had received the total payment history as of yet and i requested them several times. but my question is if it is same account that has been transferred to XXXX and they are showing every single things but missing my payments history why this has not been transferred to them and should reflect to my account currently. I need know where the payments went to? as for my knowledge I paid like almost near {$3500.00} toward my principal balance but I do not see that amount reflecting my account. where did it go? it should have applied to Principal balance. but if not where is it on my account? i see all interest that has been added from past 2007 but where are total numbers of those payments I made toward the principal? If they will not forgive my loan? I need them to get the total of the payments I made from beginning from 2007 up until now and deduct that from my Principal loan. Consumer 's Desired Resolution : I need complete details of total payments I made toward my loan From GEORGIA STUDENTS FINANCE XXXX, for their fault I need them to forgive or at least deduct the total numbers of payments I made toward the principal balance in amount of nearly {$3500.00}. and reflect all that my account does no matter if it has been transferred to another company.

I have sent many letters informing Georgia Student Finance that I received a copy of my credit reports, and noticed some late payments that still need to be corrected. I mailed a certified letter on XX/XX/2022 and it was signed for and received on XX/XX/2022. This company has had over 30 days to respond and my credit report has still not been updated. Again, the late payments are as follows : Georgia Student Finance ( XXXX ) Your company is in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), otherwise known as 15 USC 1681. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681s-2 - Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies, THE LAW CLEARLY STATES : ( a ) Duty of furnishers of information to provide accurate information ( 1 ) Prohibition ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Clearly, prohibition means something that is not allowed. This law says a person ( you in this case ) shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Lets look at has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. I CLEARLY showed you in my previous letter ( that you received via certified mail ) that you have REASONABLE CAUSE to believe that the information is INACCURATE by me CLEARLY defining accurate and what it means to be inaccurate and pointing out the laws that youve violated, therefore the information being inaccurate! While were at it, pursuant to 15 USC 1681a ( 4 ) - Congressional findings and statement of purpose, THE LAW CLEARLY STATES : ( a ) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting The Congress makes the following findings : ( XXXX ) There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. Clearly, my right to privacy as a consumer has been violated by publicly reporting this information when I never gave your organization permission to report my information. This is getting out of hand, so if you continue failing to follow the law after Ive CLEARLY showed you that you have reasonable cause to believe that the information is in fact inaccurate, this matter will result in legal actions being taken against your company for actual damages, and I will be seeking {$1000.00} per violation of the following : - 15 USC 1681n - Civil liability for willful noncompliance - 15 USC 1681o - Civil liability for negligent noncompliance There was no contact to state that my dispute letters were even received. When discussing it over the phone, I was told that it will never be removed. This is against the law and I am very disappointed in how this company has conducted business.

Hello! Hope this email finds you well. I am writing in regard to issues I have with my account, and I am in search of transparency, assistance and resolution. My student loan was deferred from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX XXXX my loan was actually deferred for various periods but this is the time period I have an issue with ). However when reviewing my credit file I noticed that my student loan payments were marked late every month from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX ( for a total of 11 late payments that appear on all of my credit reports - all three bureaus ). Aside from allowing students to defer a student loan payment for a specific period, a deferment should also protect borrowers ' credit rating while they are facing financial hardship or are in school. I have contacted GSFC several times regarding this matter and I keep getting the runaround. I was told by one of your reps to file a dispute with the credit bureaus, and when I filed the dispute, GSFC told the credit bureaus that the late payments were correct, even though my loans were in deferment - this is where the questionable business practices begin. I then contacted the office and asked for a letter that outlined my deferments, and received a letter that did not include all of my deferments - they ironically left off the years I was inquiring about. Then, I contacted the office and asked for a manager and was referred to XXXX XXXX who sent proprietary internal information XXXX screenshots from your database ) so that I could decipher my deferments on my own using a reference key that she provided XXXX see below email thread ). I am not sure what your best practices are but this is extremely frustrating to borrowers. It seems as if borrowers are penalized for deferring payments - this entire experience has discouraged me from taking advantage of something that is supposed to assist me in hardship because of the negative impact it is having on my credit worthiness. In many ways, these practices seem to be in violation of the Truth in Lending Act. During this pandemic, the last thing consumers need is to be penalized because they are facing hardship. I ask that GSFC correct the erroneous late payments ( 12 total ) for XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. These months should appear as paid on time per my approved deferment from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Please be honest, and provide the credit bureaus with accurate information when they contact you, and remove the 11 incorrect late payments from my credit file. Attached to this letter I have included : -The attached screenshots from XXXX -The letter from GSFC -And the dispute letters from the three credit bureaus Please let me know if you need any additional information from me to assist in remedying this situation. Thank you!

Hello, I took out a Private student loan with GSF ( Georgia Student Financing ) in XXXX. I was attending XXXX XXXX XXXX. I did not complete the degree at that school. However, there was a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which was {$10.00} a month. As a XXXX mother at that time, I was XXXX and could not even afford to pay it. After some time went pass for not making the payments, it was sent to collections. The tricky part about the collection agency reporting is that it is not reported under the collection agency, but still under ( GSFC ). So although I had to call GSFC per credit report, I would only be redirected to a collection agency. The first one was called XXXX XXXX and now the second is the XXXX XXXX. My first Complaint : There is a 2nd duplicate account opened under the same company ( GSF ), it was opened in XXXX and closed quickly ( Unknown reasons never given ). I asked for this to be deleted because there is an original account with the same information still active. I have tried numerous times with no success in them deleting it and no explanation why a duplicate account was made when the original account was still active. My 2nd Compliant : After occurring all the late payments adding up ( {$50.00} ) it was over {$1500.00} and I owed only around {$3000.00}. Although I made the payments sometimes, it never helped my credit, it still said late ( because the amount I owed was more than I was paying ). I decided to pay it all off and in hopes would have it closed and deleted because it is 7 years old ( and is considered a personal, private loan ). I tried to have it closed and deleted, but yet they will not delete it from my credit report. It was opened in XX/XX/XXXX and it is now XX/XX/XXXX. By Georgia Law, I thought that personal/private loans are only given 6 years to pursue it, and It is all paid now. So I see no reason why this is so hard for them. It would help my credit so much if they would delete the XXXX payment history and delete the account. I have a hard time communicating with them because although they are on the credit report as if they are the on reporting it, they actually are not and it's a collection agency. So I am always going back and forth from them to collections, to my credit reporting companies. I really need help, it seems no one is listening or cares on this matter. As a XXXX mother, I am ready to start new and really need this.

I was contacted on XX/XX/2021 by a Georgia Student Finance Commission agent who informed me that a payment was due on my account. I informed the agent that my account was in forbearance or in deferment. The agent told me it ending a month or two earlier. I informed the agent that I was not made aware of the change. I asked the agent about applying for a forbearance or deferment for economic hardship. The agent asked if I was employed. I informed the agent that I am employed but due to other financial obligations, and financial strain that I could not afford to make the payment or future payments at this time. The lady told me that I would not qualify for any of the options. I asked to agent to still send me the documents so I could fill out the one that applies. As I viewed the document it only list the following option to apply for ( listed below ) : I am experiencing a Student Loan Debt Burden. One year increments, XXXX years total. Monthly payments on my Title IV loans ( including XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) are equal to or greater than 20 % of my total monthly gross income. I am engaged in a XXXX or XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX One year increments, length of program. An authorized official must complete section XXXX of this form indicating the beginning and ending dates. I am serving in XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), XXXX XXXX, or XXXX repayment. One year increments, length of program. Supporting documentation from the authorized official indicating the beginning and ending dates must be supplied. I am serving on active XXXX XXXX duty as a member of the XXXX XXXX. One year increments, length of program. An authorized official must complete section XXXX of this form indicating the beginning and ending dates. Each of the forbearance qualifications given does not apply to me. Georgia Student Finance Commission updated there form in XX/XX/2021. Before the form was updated I qualified for the forbearance. This company no longer accepts medical or other debt as financial hardship, it only has to be unemployment status or student loan payments 20 % higher than you monthly income. This is making it extremely hard on my finances during this pandemic. I can not afford to make payments at this moment and my financial hardship reasoning should be accepted. This is also affecting my credit scores and mental health.

Disclaimer : I am a real person not a credit repair agency. My previous dispute was not corrected and by FCRA Law you are required to address my concerns. This is " NOT '' a goodwill request. I am not refusing to pay my student loans nor denying that I signed a promissory note. I have been sending in letters to the Georgia student finance company and sending dispute notices to all 3 credit bureaus. when I dispute the information, your agency adds on more late payments and states it's been updated. Your agency is reporting that been XXXX. I was 60 to 180 days late. This is default status. I was not that many payments behind. I contacted your agency and someone dropped the ball by not updating my approved /forbearance.. If I was that behind. I am requesting all correspondence during this time period of statements and deferments/forbearance. There is no way I was 180 days past due and was not reported to the default company. Again, I am not denying that I signed a promissory note that I owe student loans. What I did not do is signed any documents that your agency report inaccurate information to my credit report. If you agency is going to report to our credit report, then you have to follow FCRA regulations. 15 USC 1681s-2 - states that you have a duty as a furnisher to provide accurate information to the credit reporting agencies. Reporting inaccurate information with knowledge errors is illegal and must be modified or deleted. unfortunately, your agency has been notified my mail 2 times and I have previously submitted a CFPB complaint. The information was correct and updated recently adding on more late payments. These late payments is affecting my character and is inaccurate.

I have sent 3 certified return receipt letters to Georgia Student Finance regarding the late payments they are reporting on 7 accounts that are damaging my credit severely. To date, they have ignored my letters and never responded to me. I have provided them with FTC Advisory Opinion to Harris ( 03-22-99 ) *attached, which states : Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ) of the FCRA addresses the duty to correct and update information by furnishers, or persons who furnish information to consumer reporting agencies ( CRA ) such as credit bureaus. In particular, this section requires a person that has furnished to a consumer reporting agency information that the person determines is not complete or accurate to promptly notify the consumer reporting agency of that determination and provide any information needed to make it complete and accurate. Thus, on its face, this provision requires a furnisher to provide corrected or updated information to the consumer reporting agency that it had reported to originally. This duty extends to student loan accounts reported to CRAs, regardless of whether they were accurate at one point, because the section requires the furnisher both to update accounts as well as to correct even if the loan was correctly reported as delinquent, but has subsequently been paid. Please assist me with getting a response from Georgia Student Finance regarding the issue stated above. They have ignored my disputes and every month, they continue to report late payments even though the FTC opinion states they are to CORRECT and update the payments now that they are no longer late.

Spoke to XXXX XXXX XXXX a couple of times, beginning on XX/XX/XXXX, regarding the status of my student loan accounts with the Georgia Student Finance Commission. I asked him why are they being reported as delinquent when I am currently a graduate student at XXXX XXXX University, and the in-school status was made available to all of my student loan servicers. I knew this because I called the XXXX XXXX University Financial Aid office to confirm. I also wanted to know how the accounts went from being current in the month of XX/XX/XXXX and then sixty days late in XX/XX/XXXX, which is the status indicated on all of my credit profiles. Lastly, I wanted to know why are the accounts going through status changes when student loans were paused on the COVID-19 Rescue Act beginning on XX/XX/XXXX, and lasting until XX/XX/XXXX. I was advised to set up a payment arrangement and make six consecutive on-time payments of {$460.00} per month under their Rehabilitation Program and at the conclusion of those successful six payments they would place the accounts back in a current status. This company has an in-school deferment policy, that they refuse to follow, as well as the national presidential order that was made active under the COVID-19 Rescue Act. As a result, they have seriously diminished my credit standings with the credit bureaus and my revolving credit accounts.

I have tried to contact this company numerous times in regards to repayment. They either don't answer the phone or place me on an extremely long hold with no resolution insight. the one time I was able to contact them they informed me I would have to pay over {$5000.00} upfront to become current and that they couldn't offer me a payment plan or any type of arrangement until I made that payment. they have now start reporting to my Social Security number as a default payment but the account is still open and they refuse to close it although it's been over 10 years since I got the loan. When I tried to reach out during Covid they sent my call over to another company that they own who is now handling the payments but the company refuses to give me a name and I haven't received any correspondence in over three years in regards to this loan, but every year they take my state tax and any other aid that comes my way. Any time I do get a person I try to express my hardship, for me to be told there is nothing to be done outside of paying that lump sum upfront. I was encouraged by my school to get this high interest loan to cover a few XXXX dollars. I was short for the semester to now oh almost tripled, that amount that I agreed to because of interest.

I filed Chapter XXXX bankruptcy in XX/XX/XXXX. Georgia Student Finance Commission was listed as a creditor on the bankruptcy. However, GSFC continue to report negatively during the bankruptcy proceedings. On XX/XX/XXXX, the Chapter XXXX bankruptcy was discharged without contest from creditors. I have consistently contacted XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, plus GSFC, disputing the the discharged debt. XXXX dispute came back as the debt will remain, Transunion continues report the debt, GSFC continues to report the debt negatively on my report knowing the debt has been discharged. I have reached out to the Vice President, XXXX XXXX, of GSFC to inform her of the bankruptcy discharged and presented all court documents. Her response was that GSFC lawyers informed her that the debt was not discharged which the evidenced shows the creditor is listed and the debt is discharged on page 3 of 5 of creditor report listing GSFC discharged on XX/XX/XXXX. I feel that I have exhausted all efforts with the creditor. As I read the reviews of other patrons of this finance company, they have shared the same experiences with this company. I have attached copies of the bankruptcy discharge report, trustee notes, creditor report.

I attended XXXX from XXXX graduating with a BS in Web Development and XXXX XXXX. Shortly after graduating I was notified via mail that I was a student effected by XXXX 's false advertisement by the FTC. The false advertisement that XXXX publicly admitted to. From mid 2014- present I have receive deferments and forbearance but no permanent resolution to the issue. I called GSFC/GSFA/GHEAC on numerous occasions and spoke to a person in legal that said that there was nothing that can be done about the loans. He stated he did not have adequate information, even though I sent the article that clearly states that it was a valid lawsuit and to seek further action for forgiveness. From 2014 to present the loans have accrued interest and I have had no resolution as to why my loans have not been forgiven or cancelled when the information and resolution options included in the lawsuit were provided and the documents were made public. I have made several good faith attempts to have this resolved by GSFC/GSFA/GHEAC with no resolution. The lawsuit by the FTC was resolved and XXXX admitted their guilt and GSFC/GSFA/GHEAC has caused major financial damage affecting my family and I for the past 7 years.

This is my second complaint with Georgia Student Finance. This time I am filing a complaint because the school XXXX XXXX closed down back in 2019. I was misled into believing that I would have gainful employment after completing the degree program. I was forced into signing that Master Promissory Note. I do have an active borrower 's defense application with the Department of Education. They have not made a ruling as of yet XXXX ( application number ) Can provide a copy of the application that was in fact for the former school, XXXXXXXX XXXX. While the Lender has my signature and I disputed the debt before as not valid, to me, I believe the contract should not be enforced. Because I was like many other students forced to take out extremely expensive loans. I also informed the organization that I am no longer in the state of Georgia and had no choice but to move because I had not gained employment. This is what I was promised when I enrolled in the program. I have tried to work with this agency but they are not willing to work with my at all and left me no choice but to filed another complaint with the cfpb.

Georgia Student Finance has been very unpleasant to work with. I have contacted them MULTIPLE times to work out a payment plan up until the point now where when I call now no one is able to answer the phone and my call drops. The times when I would call and speak to someone the representatives were extremely rude, not cooperative and failed to even take the payment I could afford to pay them. They proceed to tell me they do not accept payment arrangements or skip payments and now every single month, my credit shows up as being 120 days past due. It has been almost 2 years that my credit continues to get impacted as 120 days past due and it is not being charged off or forward to a collections team to be able to work out a payment arrangement. Because of this, I am not able to open a mortgage, purchase a car, or start my business because I am seen as a risk to most lenders. There needs to be a stop to this unfair treatment and an internal & external investigation of their operational process needs to be reviewed as soon as possible because I am sure I am not the only customer that is going through this.

I took a student loan from Georgia Financial Authority in XXXX. I paid off the loan from what the representative told me I owed in XXXX of XXXX. I recently checked with credit report recently and saw that I have had 120 late payment for that account starting from XXXX of XXXX to XXXX of XXXX. I called them and told them that It should of been closed. they told me that thee eaccount was never closed and that there was a small remaining balance that had been accruing interest. All the contact info they have on me was from XXXX when I initially took the loan and so there was no way for me to know there was anything remaining. This has completely ruined my credit and I filed a dispute with them and they told me they are not willing to do anything about it. I did my due diligence to.pay off this loan and for me to get so negatively impacted is unfair when they can easily detract/ forgive that deliquency that should not happened in the first place. I made sure the account has been closed out as soon as I found out and paid the remaining balance that accrued interest since XXXX. Please Help!

Georgia Student Finance Commission Is in violation of the Truth and Lending Act 15 U.S.C. 1666 Correction of Billing Error. They have reported my account 90 days late which is in error. I filed a hardship with Georgia Student Finance Commission. I submitted a hardship to put a pause on my GA student finance loans back in XXXX through GA student finance portal. In XXXX I called GA student finance since I didnt hear from them. Someone from their department while on the phone with me advised that I forward my case ID to her and that I was all set ( see attachment ). On XX/XX/2022 I called and spoke with XXXX concerning my account. She said my account was never worked on and she will be working on it. She stated she would send an email that day and never sent it. The lack of organization, professionalism and effort on Georgia Student Finance Commission part has caused my credit score to drop because they didnt do their job. This is really hurting my reputation and effecting my ability to buy a house.

1. GSFA is reporting a student loan with late payments for XX/XX/XXXX. 2. I disputed this as inaccurate with all 3 credit reporting agencies based on a deferment but the payment history was " verified '' by GSFA. 3. I requested an investigation by GSFA giving them documentation from the current servicer showing the student loan was approved for a deferment, therefore could not be late when no payment was due. 4. I requested a hard copy of my GSFA payment history and deferment do cuments in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. Per phone call to GSFA, they advised me that I was approved for a student loan deferment to cover XX/XX/XXXX but refused to provide me with any copies of this approval when requested. 5. Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ) of the FCRA states that GSFA has a duty to update information to the most current information. The retroactive deferment changed the accuracy of their reporting and must be updated to reflect the corrected accurate information showing no payments were due for the above dates. GSFA is reporting missed payments for reporting periods requiring no payments.

There are two late payments on my account that is hindering my credit report my score took a terrible dip due to payment MISUNDERSTANDING. The missed payments were reported in XXXX and XXXX. XX/XX/2019 I made payment of {$270.00}, XX/XX/2019 {$130.00}, and a {$99.00} in XXXX XXXX.My total payment amount for both loans are {$99.00} dollars and {$49.00} dollars. These loans are separate and are to be paid separate I did not realize that. In XX/XX/2019 I made the payment of {$270.00} to cover both loans which left a remaining overage of {$130.00}, XX/XX/2019 I made a payment of {$130.00} which is the total amount of $ XXXX+ {$49.00}. At this point this is deformation of my character because creditors are looking at my profile labeling me as irresponsible. I have asked several times with only updated account info, but I would like a deletions of the red derogatory marks so that I can have a fair chance at a descent interest rate in purchasing my home, instead of higher rates due to a misunderstanding of their payment system.

I've filed multiple disputes ( XX/XX/2022, XX/XX/2022 & XX/XX/2022 ) with XXXX regarding a student loan that continues to show on my credit report with them from the Georgia Student Finance Authority ( GSFA ) in the amount of {$4.00}. The amount represents a student loan for which I applied and was approved for last Fall to attend XXXX University ( XXXX ). However, I withdrew from the program prior to the last official day possible to receive refunds. I've confirmed with both XXXX and GFSA that the funds in question were returned to GSFA. However, every time attempt to have my XXXX credit report corrected to reflect such I am rejected. I have received repeat dispute rejections from XXXX stating that GSFA confirms that the information and account balance of {$4300.00} listed on my credit report is correct. But on my credit report with the other two reporting agencies, the balance for this particular loan reflects a {$0.00} balance. When I called GSFA months ago I was also told that my balance was {$0.00}.

I could not pay student loans for Georgia Student Finance Commission 's Student Access Loan for a while during XXXX. There was no attempt to resolve the issue by extending forbearance or deferment. It is just a feeble attempt to help fix this. XXXX when I started working a better-paying job, an attempt was made for installments of XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022. In addition, my XXXX tax refund was used to help pay off the loan amount. I received my credit report and noticed late payment reports. I knew I had made installments, so I did not understand why missed payments were being reported. When I went to see what was going on and do a forbearance on XX/XX/2022 because I lost my job, I was notified later by mail that it was sent to collection. I never received any letter that this was being sent to collections on XX/XX/2022, and again, no attempt to resolve the issue. Even in collection status, I have received nothing from any collection agency! This is immensely hurting my credit for no reason.

I got the Georgia Service Cancelable loan for the Georgia Student Finance Commission. I commissioned XXXX XXXX upon graduating school and there was some confusion with GSFC as to what documents I was supposed to give them. I was finally able to resolve the issue after a terrible amount of communication with GSFC, and then disputed the claims with the credit agencies. I thought that the issue had been resolved. Unfortunately, it had only gotten resolved with XXXX and not XXXX. The XXXX credit agency dispute shows the same way that it did before the dispute. I took the loan my last two years of school, where it was supposed to be paid off by years in service.

However, they are continuing to report late, and non payments to my Credit Report that has caused tremendous damage to my reports. Upon checking my credit report, I noticed that I was considered " late '' with the markings from this student loan company. The late markings started XX/XX/2021. I was under the impression that the Student Finance Commission was a federal loan that extended all payments for the COVID Relief Act. I contacted them and they informed me to submit and forbearance form and they will remove the markings. Although, my account has been put in forbearance status, the late markings on my credit still exists. This has caused further hardship in which will prevent me from overcoming the financial hardship I'm currently in due to COVID.

Georgia student finance lists on my credit score as an account in bad standing or " negative pay status. '' However, I have never taken a student loan. I have either had a scholarship, or I've paid out of pocket. This is negatively affecting my credit score, and it doesn't even show as having a balance due or any balance ever being on there, so it is negatively affecting my credit score with a balance of zero. I've worked hard to being up my score in the last couple of years, and this is just ridiculous... especially since I worked so hard to make sure I never had to take out a loan.

My student loan was deferred from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. However when I reviewed my credit report I noticed that my student loan was marked late every month from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX ( for a total of XXXX late payments that appear on all of my credit reports, with all three bureaus. The purpose of deferring a student loan is to protect borrowers credit rating until we are able to pay.

They have been reporting me late since the pandemic started. I thought that student loans were allowed to stop payment while unemployed. They sold my information to another party and I have no idea who. I was not informed and they are not reporting {$800.00} payments. It's been on here 8 years now. I need some relief I'm trying to buy a home.
