Complaint against Gmccloan There are no direct numbers to contact a manger We have tried reaching several times We were trying to refinance our property between XXXX and XXXX XXXX The brokers involved have increased our loan amount ( fraudulently ) On investigating the broker let us know that thats how they do business On further invitation from us we figured out that they have misled us To begin with the loan amount did not match the actual loan amount The actual Loan amount was {$440000.00} ( mail and text reference to the broker ) Their paper work Revealed that she stated on the paperwork At {$440000.00} During closing ( if we had signed ) The pay off amount was {$440000.00} She still insisted that the new loan will be for {$440000.00} Came up with a story of how it took close to 90 days. Now for any person If that was true {$440000.00} is not equal to {$440000.00} And {$440000.00} is not equal to {$440000.00}. Kindly help us and others so she does not do the same to other customers When asked if we will get a credit she was unable to explain and started yelling at us The broker involved uses XXXX discriminatory words This company is defrauding the customers by increasing the loan amount and starting the loan on falsified amounts as well. On our repeated requests to them they did not produce the paper work, finally yesterday before the intended closing the numbers were not matching up, the broker was not ready to resend the paper work back to the underwriting firm, We requested her to repeatedly connect with her superior she ignored the request. On calling the Escrow office it was confirmed that they take the numbers from the broker she alone is responsible for the incoming numbers. I sent a check ( ck # XXXX ; {$3100.00} ) for my XXXX mortgage to General Mortgage Capital Company in the beginning of XXXX, and the check was cashed by them on XX/XX/2023. After I sent my XXXX check to them, I received a letter from them that my mortgage was transfer to XXXX XXXX and the payment we paid to General Mortgage Capital Company will be transferfed to XXXX XXXX. Then, I realized that the payment did not transfer to my new loan company, and I started to call General Mortgage and submitted proof of check withdrawal to confirm my payment on XX/XX/2023. Based on the phone call, the CSR from General Mortgage told me that they need to confirm if they have received my payment. If they have received it, it might take XXXX months to complete the transaction. Then I keep calling to follow up with them, but still no update. The last time I call General Mortgage was on XX/XX/2023. The customer service from General Mortgage told me that they confirmed they did not receive my payment. I was so shocked at that time. Then I called the bank and told them the situation and tried to dispute this transaction. However, after the banker checked on my case, he said this check was cashed by General Mortgage Capital Corporation which is the same with the title on my check. The XXXX bank is unable to stop this payment. Seems like my money disappeared after General Mortgage XXXX XXXX cashed the check. I have attached all the documents, like proof of check withdrawal, letter form General Mortgage Capital Company that showed they did not receive my payment and did not apply the check amount to my mortgage account.. Please let me know if you need more information from me.

Instead of providing a loan estimate document, GMCC started processing the refinancing straight away. 1. Getting a basic loan estimate was difficult. Lender asked me to submit all my paperwork and ran my credit report before they gave me a loan estimate or Loan worksheet. Agent send me an email quoting the loan estimate 0.375 ( instead of 3.75 ) and XXXX closing cost, which was the promised rate. When I received the final loan estimate closing cost became {$13000.00} ( This includes a portion of my property tax around {$6800.00}, but still it is still way more than they promised. 2. In order to get a Loan Estimate I had to provide all my personal details and financial information over an unsecured email conversation. 3. Communication was misleading and forced me to e-sign a refinancing the mortgage before seeing a loan estimate. 4. Manipulative in the way the agent/company processed 5. They provided me an loan estimate after several days and several emails and still has excessive closing costs which was not promised 6. GMCC send me a document to e-sign by mentioning that acknowledgement of receipt of loan estimate, which was never sent to me. After insisting for a real loan estimate, they finally sent me one.

I refinanced my mortgage with General Mortgage Capital Corporation ( GMCC ) on XXXX, XXXX. In the initial XXXX form ( attached ) and the final XXXX form XXXX attached ) that I signed with GMCC, the forms all clearly state No Prepayment Penalty. I refinanced this Mortgage with another company on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a bill XXXX attached XXXX from GMCC on XX/XX/XXXX. In the bill, it charges me {$6100.00} for early payoff penalty. GMCC agent said, the mortgage has been sold to XXXX by GMCC in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX charges GMCC for the early payoff penalty, and GMCC requires me to pay it. I have no responsibility to this early payoff penalty. GMCC should take full responsibility to the charge from XXXX.
