I took out a {$5000.00} dollar loan in XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX. I took the money out to start my now very successful business. I made the payments on time every month until XXXXXX/XX/XXXX when I was called by a debt solution company about renegotiating my debt. I agreed to enter the program as I had already purchased my home and car so I didn't think it would be a bad idea. The debt solution company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX told me to treat it like a bankruptcy while they negotiated the outstanding balances lower. A month later I received a summons from Fradkin & Weber collection agency. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX company told me not to respond to it. I had an over 700 credit score at the time. Then F & W called me and threatened me and it made me extremely nervous. I was able to make the payments, it was never about not being able to make the payments so on XX/XX/XXXX I exited the debt program and made a payment to get up to date with XXXX. I made this payment at the XXXX MD branch off XXXX XXXX. I called F & W and asked what did I need to do to make the hearing go away. They sent me a form to fill out and fax back to them and I faxed it from a XXXX in XXXX PA. I found out later that they did not stop the hearing, and it went on and I did not show up to court and the judgment was awarded against me. I didn't have money to attain an attorney at the time and rather than go deeper into trouble with this agency I started making the requested payments to them. I made payments on time every single month for years. I then requested F & W to send me a payoff balance several times. All of my emails went unresponded to. I wanted to pay the remainder in full. No one got back to me. I had an automatic bill pay set up with my bank but I had switched banks. I missed two payments to F & W and they without my knowledge or permission pulled a large amount of money out of my bank account on XX/XX/XXXX This was way more than the balance owed. I have paid nearly 8000 dollars on this {$5000.00} loan. I have emailed them and called them repeatedly for an explanation and no one has responded. This place has turned my life upside down,

I was in an accident in XX/XX/XXXX. I had a lawyer, XXXX XXXX XXXX who was authorized to handle my claim. All my medical bills was forwarded to him. I never received any information on any type of medical bills that were owed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was contacted by letter stating : I owed over {$4300.00} in medical bills, to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, to collect a delinquent debt. I had medical insurance at the time under my parents and car insurance. I was sent to this medical service by my lawyer. I had no intention on going to this company. I figured, I would go to them since the lawyer, worked with this company. I contacted my old insurance provider and the other victims insurance who was at fault. My insurance sent {$2500.00}, to the lawyer for medical bills. The other insurance, provided a sum of money to the lawyer for medical bills ( waiting to hear back ). I also tried to contact the lawyer at the time and he got his bars taken away ( no longer a lawyer ). I also had a friend who was involved in the accident, who had to get her bills taken care of. I missed work for some time and had no vehicle for over a month due to repairs. Why, did n't this company contact me after several months? They sent me papers on what they believe I owe, 9 yrs later! There is no account information of my insurance carrier, no information from my lawyer at the time and no accident claim number listed on the bill. I first, thought this was a scam because there is a lot of scams that go on with people owing money. I do not agree with this debt because 1 ) its too old 2 ) my lawyer got his bars taken away. 3 ) I am being harassed, for information that this company should have taken care of years ago. 4 ) They never listed my insurance company, claim number or any information of my accident. If they knew this was accident related, they should have put this information on the medical bill. It is not my responsibility to take down this information. I was not an employee at this medical center. If they did not properly handle their debt in a professional, timely, organized, manner why should I be held accountable for somebody else 's mistakes?

XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Fradkin & Weber PA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Fradkin & Weber PA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Case No : XXXX Case No : XXXX Subject : Claim of Proof Service re : Wage Garnishment This compliant is for both cases referenced above. Fradkin & Weber claimed a proof of service for debt and wage garnishment with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Sales. I have not been a resident of the address listed in the court records for several years and likely Fradkin & Weber have received the proof of service delivered back as undelivered, or unknown at that address- and have failed to inform the court of this fact. I still have mail forwarding on the address on the court record and know they have not sent any certificate of service to my person. I learned of this case was still being prosecuted when I got a certificate of compliance for Writ of Wage Garnishment via a mail forwarding with USPS. In addition, I am a resident of the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, and Fradkin & Weber, PA, have not demonstrated any jurisdiction to collect on a Maryland Judgement on a resident of the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, and under PA law are past any statue of limitations to file a new judgement in the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX courts. I believe Fradkin & Weber, PA, who has a history of violating the Maryland Collection Act, in stating a certificate of service was sent to the court of Maryland, has violated Maryland Code 14202 - false and misleading representations.

Two days ago my employer who is based in Washington state received a writ of garnishment of wages with court order from Maryland state from XX/XX/XXXX. On the letter with stamps was added information of e-filing of this case on XX/XX/XXXX in district court in XXXX - XXXX. I checked the district court no such case number came up. Checked the XXXX database for cases filed on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and XXXX and did not find one that was on my name. I have a letter from IRS from XXXX that states that the debt was canceled/forgiven from the landers. I believe the representative of the plaintiff : Fradkin & Weber P.A. based in XXXX MD, is trying to scam me and my employer to make a payment to reset the time of my already forgiven debt so it is active and take money from me. They could not go to local courts in the state I live now because the case do not exist anymore because of state of limitations has been way over due ( by 5 years for the judgment and 6 years in my count for the debt ). Unless of course I made or in this case my employer make a payment on my behalf by complaining with this old out of state judgment. Money originally ( forgiven ) was XXXX $ On top of that they added fees persentage of interests varied from 15.21 % for the first year and 10 % for the remaining 11 years which brings the final amount they are seeking to XXXX $ I believe they are trying to scam me and that Fradkin & Weber are fraudulent company. Simple google search will bring up numerous reviews from people in my situation.

On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from my neighbor stating that a server was at my door, I was confused so I got on Maryland case search and I saw that I had a case judgement XX/XX/XXXX and then reopen XX/XX/XXXX for {$520.00} the address listed is an address I have not lived at for over 20 years which tells me this is a debt from when I was a teenager and I honestly don't know what it is because it's no on any of my credit reports. This company as sent a garnishment letter to my previous employer and I really want to know what RIGHTS do I have for a debt that is well over 20 years old?

This complaint is against a debt collector who refuses to validate this debt that they are claiming I owe. This debt is more than ten years old. It has been filed in a state which I am not a resident. Currently they are garnishing my pay and making it impossible to pay my bills. I have called the original creditor several times and they themselves have stated I have never had an account with them. I dont know what else to do to stop them from taking money I do not owe. They have filed a motion to garnish over {$1700.00} on a debt I do not owe.
