XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. located at : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NJ XXXX XXXX : XXXX has illegally put a hold ( writ ) on my savings and checking account. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I made a {$15.00} purchase at a store and was told it was denied. I had plenty of money in my accounts, however after calling my credit union I was told there was a writ on my accounts, Everything was on hold and I could not access any money.
I was told to call the law office above and did so. They claim I had a bill that was not paid nor had payments arrangements. Docket number is XXXX XXXX New Jersey XXXX. THe hold included my social security benefits, salary and all income. They ordered me to send 3 months statements to prove social security payments etc, which I immediately sent. I also informed them that I WAS on a payment plan for that account since XXXX and had to send them documents to prove that ( which I also did and are included here ).
XXXX XXXX XXXX of the firm was somewhat helpful but her supervisor, XXXX was not. After realizing a mistake was made on their end, I asked for an immediate request to have my bank re-institute my account and remove the hold. THis was on a Friday afternoon. XXXX told me specifically " well it may be a priority of yours but it 's really not a priority of anyone else ''. I demanded a call back on Monday with a status. That never happened. In fact I have called him at least twice a day, along with legal attorney with me and he refuses to take my calls or to return the call. I called XXXX again and she said she " thought '' it was taken care of but not totally sure or how long it would take to fix it.
I visited my credit union with documents to show I was not in non-compliance however they said they need a court document to remove the " writ '' hold. In the meantime I had to cancel a weekend trip due to not being able to get any money out of my account XXXX no gas for my car and no funds XXXX. I have had two automatic payment withdrawls from bill pays rejected, thus I will be charged {$25.00} for each of those returns. Without knowing when this hold will be released I run the risk of more charges that are not my fault. I have no other income in my household so this is a major major problem.
The poor record keeping, harassing calls from this firm is unexcusable. They did not do their due diligence to ensure this was accurate before ensuing court charges and this writ. I am being damaged both financially and personally. Upon research, this company has repeated problems such as this. I need it fixed asap and payment for my damages which total {$500.00} XXXX cancelled weekend trip, fees on my account ).

XXXX also to me that account XXXX account because I could n't make any payment on it and left it that way.
By Federal law and against my right the company XXXX never informed me that they was going to transfer this debt to a collection agency. The New Name of Collector our Forster , Garbus & Garbus Attorney 's Law XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX XXXX.
I had informed the company stop harassing me in regard this debt over the phone or by mail because I have an XXXX child to attend to and do n't have time for there harassing me by taking me to court if I do n't pay the amount own filed a judgement against me for the balance I own to XXXX. The mostly company was doing hanging up the phone with me because I refuse to give them my last two digit of my security number and also summit yesterday a fax number they had provide to me and number # XXXX I can not afford to pay this debt own please help me for them to stop harassing me because it cause stressful and pain in my life or I will filed law sue against new collection agency Forster , Garbus & Garbus attorney law if they do n't leave alone and continue harassing me or threaten me by mail. My Daughter XXXX XXXX, had XXXX student loans with XXXX XXXX. I co-signed XXXX of the loans and my daughter failed to pay the loan back and a collection agency called XXXX in NJ was hired to collect the money. The collection agency without telling me decided to combine both loans and put a judgement/lein against my house. I feel that combining both loans with only my name on XXXX of them should not have been done. Because of that, I had to put up {$45000.00} in escrow so I could sell my house. The loan went from XXXX XXXX to XXXX and they hired their own collection agency called Forster, Garbus & Garbus, which seperated both loans as they should have. I contacted them and I settled the loan with my name as co-signer, with them on XXXX XXXX, 2015. I have been trying since then to get a warranty to satify judgement document to send to my attorney to release my {$45000.00} funds in escrow. I have contacted numerous people so many times and left voicemails hoping to get the documentation and no one returns my phone calls. I called XXXX hoping to get some answers and was told that the collection agency did not report any information about Loan settlement. I am reaching out to you as a last resort hopefully to put some pressure on them so they can treat me the way consumers ought to be treated.

Back in XX/XX/XXXX, I was in court to try to settle a debt. We agreed for me to pay {$100.00} per month every XXXX of the month.
The attorney told me to go online and make a payment, and thats what I did. I was always making my payments on a timely manner.
In order to make a payment online, you need a CONTROL #. So every time I made payments I typed in my Control #.
Last month (XX/XX/XXXX ), it tried to make a payment for {$100.00} via online and I was unable to do it because according to the website, it was BLOCKED. So I called the number and I tried to let them know about my control number being blocked.
They told me they dont know the reason and it must have been a temporary thing. So I made my payment through the phone.
Today, XX/XX/XXXX, Saturday, I tried to make my payment. And unfortunately my control # is still BLOCKED. I tried to call the number but the their office was closed and I tried to call every bodys extension and left voicemails because I really need to make that payment today.
You were told to make a payment online and when you do, they try to BLOCK the control number that way you miss your payment and force you to break the agreement you made in court..

I have received numerous calls from a company called Foster, Garbus and Garbu looking for a XXXX XXXX XXXX spelling? XXXX. Unfortunately I did n't record all dates. The phone calls have been coming for approx. 4+ months. On approx. XXXX XXXX, 2015 I called and explained that I do not know this person and please remove my number from their account. I did not receive any phone calls until XXXX XXXX Received XXXX calls XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX on approx. XXXX I again called to explain I do not know this person and to remove my number. I did not receive any calls until XXXX ( received XXXX calls XXXX, XXXX and on XXXX ) on XXXX I had talk to someone and once again told them I do not know this person and remove my number. I again received a phone call on XXXX. On XXXX i called and talked to a XXXX XXXX. I explained my situation and he told me there can be several different accounts tied to XXXX name. I then asked to talk to a supervisor and was transferred to a voice mailbox of someone named XXXX. I left a message with my name and phone number and explained my situation. that was approx. 2 hours ago and I have not received a return call.

Foster and Garbus obtained an Ex-parte judgement and sent summons. I responded with {$50.00} offer because I can not afford anything more. I am living a hand to mouth living.

I had a credit card with XXXX card in the amount of {$1300.00} that went to collections. I paid well over half of the amount with a debt collector, XXXX XXXX XXXX. It has changed hands to Forster Garbus and Garbus. Forster Garbus and Garbus is threatening me telling me that I owe them the original {$1300.00} when in fact I know that I made many payments to the previous debt collector- XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I have made many attempts at contacting Forster Garbus and Garbus after speaking with them originally in the first week of XX/XX/XXXX. The gentleman told me he would run the record from XXXX XXXX XXXX to see that I paid half of this debt off and would contact me, however never contacted me again. They have threatened me that if I do not contact them and start paying by XX/XX/XXXX, I would owe the entire amount. Again, I can not get into contact with anyone. They have reported this as delinquent, which is not true. This is unjust and unfair-I would like this removed.

My XXXX XXXX XXXX student loans have defaulted and I am trying to find repayment options. The company that is processing them Foster, Garbus & Garbus are not giving me all of the information I need to proceed in resolving this debt.
Here are the following complaints:1. I have asked for proof of my loan and they have not provided it and said that legal papers they sent me should serve as proof.
2. They do not own the loan - XXXX XXXX still owns the loan.
3. A fair repayment plan can not be accommodated, with adequate tracking of my payments and the balances.
3. They are providing misinformation. I have read that after 9 months of a loan being in good standing ( with monthly on-time payments ) that it can then enter a rehabilitation plan - they advised that rehabilitation no longer applies to me.
In summation, I want to reach a fair conclusion in being able to pay off the debt monthly without it crippling my future ( employment, marriage and renting/purchasing a home ).

My bank provided me with information stating that Forster Garbus & Garbus had filed suit against me in XX/XX/XXXX. I called Forster Garbus and Garbus in XX/XX/XXXX and requested they send me all information regarding this case, as I had not been notified prior about any collection efforts. They sent this information dated XX/XX/XXXX, to my home and I reviewed it. I ascertained that the debt was valid, and since that time I have made repeated calls to the agency requesting to make payment arrangements for the debt, and for them to stop attacking my bank account and causing NUMEROUS overdraft fees to my account. I have received no answer from the agency, and my bank account was again hit on XX/XX/XXXX, causing financial hardships.

I received notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX of an attempt to sue my XXXX mother, who has passed away on XXXX/XXXX/2017, There was never any communication to my mother from these people, Forster, Garbus & Garbus. This is their first communication, and it came in the form of a lawsuit to a deceased XXXX!
The amount they are suing for is {$1400.00}!!
I called the court and explained my mother had passed away, and there are no assets or estate.
The court told me to report them to you, as they frequently do this to deceased people to see if there is an estate. I told the court I would send a copy of death certificate to them.
These people really are the lowest of low. They should be sued for not validating the debt, and harassment.
Even the court personnel now they are bottom feeders

I received correspondence from this company twice. Both occasions, after requesting validation of debt, and not receiving the validation in a timely manner, or return phone calls, this company filed suit in XXXX XXXX in XXXX County, New Jersey. Let me be clear, at no time did I deny the debt was mine ; I requested validation so that I could compare my information to the information I was being sent. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, ( " FDCPA '' ), it is my right to request validation of debt. This company ignores those requests. I honestly do not know how their clients can be so clueless as to allow them to continue to do this sort of practice of debt collection.

The debt collection agency sued and won a judgement for wage garnishment for a debt that I never received notification on. They sent all the notifications to an old rented mailbox from a XXXX XXXX that I closed 5 years prior. I left the job that the wage garnishment was attached to. They sent me a balance notification to my home address, I paid it in full on XX/XX/2020. I have the receipt notification. Now today, XXXX, I received a letter from their attorney that a warrant was entered for me for the balance that was already paid. This is harassment!

I received a notice of wage execution for a debt that is 9 yrs old. We contact the original account holder in the beginning of this account to advice them that due to medical reasons I could not keep the account, and they failed to comply. Years later, they are till pursuing this account.
