I was recommended FM HOME LOANS by a friend. FM appointed him a gentleman by the name of XXXX XXXX who was amazing ). XXXX was taking care of my loan needs. All was going well for the first two months. For some reason. We were told that XXXX was no longer working for FM..FM told us that theyre going to appoint a new agent to me by the name of XXXX XXXX. It took XXXX two weeks before she notified us that she was our new agentXXXX decided to go away for two more weeks to Florida we are already three months in the hole to try to do a closing for refinance. By the time XXXX caught up to all the paperwork in our files we are now four months in the hole to try to do a refinance with XXXX help. XXXX asked us to give her a {$500.00} check deposit that was needed for the paperwork. XXXX assured us that if the paperwork dont go through that I would get back the {$500.00} back. I felt that XXXX was not being truthful in her ways of conducting business and I felt that I was being treated unjustly because of my race. The closing never happened since XXXX didn't file all the paperwork in a timely matter and we lost the rate that XXXX had first given us we were never reimbursed for the {$500.00} and never even got an apology from XXXX.

I called up my mortgage company back in XX/XX/2017 because i wanted to get an appraiser to show my LTV is under 80 % so I don't have to pay a PMI on top of a high monthly mortgage but they did not let me. They said the only way to to take off a PMI was to give them like {$50.00}. I did not pursue it because I did not know about the CFPB. I just found out about it today when I sent in a complaint with the CFPB because my mortgage company charged me PMI twice in 1 month. I never look online so I would have never noticed the charge and for all i know i could be charged every month 2 times without my knowledge. I only looked online because my mortgage company sent me a letter in the mail a few days ago that my mortgage is going up from {$3300.00} a month to {$4700.00} and I called to complain that how in the world can you send such a letter raising my mtg 40 % from 1 month to the next month without some type of information how I can get help to pay such a high mortgage. Why am I putting my trust in a bank that does not understand the consumer. Are they willing to take off the PMI perhaps? NO, they are not but they are definitely willing to charge me a PMI twice in 1 month which i just happened to catch them doing.
