Over the past several months, I 've continued to receive phone calls from First Recovery about debt collection for a person that does not work at the number they are calling, which is my office and a government office. I 've made several attempts to update whomever is on the customer service end to remove this number off the list. The collector is looking for a specific person : XXXX XXXX. That individual does not work the line they keep calling over the past year nor do I know the person. Every time I receive the call from this company, i 've updated the customer service person and yet I continue to receive phone calls/msgs. After several frustrations over the past year, back in XXXX XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, i decided to do my own research online to find this XXXX XXXX person and guess what, was able to find her. I gave the customer service person the updated contact information back then because it seems like they ca n't do their job. It took me less than 10min to find her online. I received a call from this company XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Morning of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, i call back to once again update First Recovery and again I receive a call back XXXX exactly the same day XXXX/XXXX/XXXX calling about the same thing. I am beyond frustrated and can not believe people ca n't do their job to find the right person. Stop calling this number government office line. PLEASE STOP CALLING THIS GOVERNMENT LINE looking for the person as the individual does not work here nor do i know the person. Every time I ask the collector to update, they said they removed the number but i still continue to receive several phone calls over and over again. Every time I ask about which company this is, the customer service person/debt collector hangs up on me. Finally, at least i was able to find out that it was FIRST RECOVERY.

I keep receiving calls from a company that claims they are in XXXX called First Recovery. They have called me repeatedly and I have spoken to someone twice. The first time the person hung up on me after I pushed back on giving him the last XXXX of my social security number " for verification. '' The calls always start with a recorded voice and usually hang up before I get a live person. Today I received a call and told " XXXX XXXX '' that I wanted written verification and to stop calling until I made contact after receiving verification from them. I am an attorney and told her that, and that I have looked up the FCRA and also info on their company as a scam. She told me that it would look really bad if I did n't pay my bills since I 'm a lawyer and that I really should take care of it now. I send send me verification and do n't call again. She said she ca n't do that. I received a call a few minutes later from XXXX, and she put me in contact with a manager of some sort. He eventually gave me information about me that was correct ( former address, former employer ), although he had my name as " XXXX '' and I always use " XXXX '' for anything official. He told me I owed {$300.00} from a payday loan I took out in 2012 from XXXX XXXX XXXX, plus {$130.00} in late fees. I told him I did n't know what he was talking about and he asked if I planned to pay them restitution. I said no. We argued back and forth and I repeatedly told him that I did n't claim this debt as mine. I asked for proof and he said if I 'm not going to pay, that we 're done and hung up. The number the recording gives to call back is XXXX and an account number ( electronic voice, not live person ). They have called from XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and started on XXXX XXXX.

Received a call from First Recovery Services or Solutions stating I took out a payday loan online in the amount of {$350.00}. I informed them that I had not taken out any payday loans online. I asked First Recovery Services what their address was. They would not provide it. I asked them to provide me with the date it was taken out. They that the loan was taken out prior to XX/XX/XXXX and charged off. I asked them to provide me with proof that there was a loan. They would not. The next person said the loan was refinanced by XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX and that more than {$500.00} is owed. Once again, they could not provide me with dates and would not provide me with proof. They said they would see me in court because I would not pay them. I have not taken out any payday loans and I certainly did not refinance anything in XX/XX/XXXX. I have never received notification nor have taken out such a loan. I continuously check my credit and no such creditor has been put on there. They provided me with an address that is more than 10 years old. They have called more than 10 times from various numbers. They had a guy from what they indicated was " their legal '' department also called me from an XXXX number and then he called three other times from XXXX. They have called various family members of mine in informing them that it is urgent to get a hold of me with and give them a claim number. They have contacted my significant other 's business four to five times. This loan is not mine and this is harassment.

The company has called me 5 times. They are looking for someone named XXXX XXXX. I told them there is no XXXX XXXX in my family. I then tried to ask them if someone was fraudulently using the family last name. I asked how they got the phone number. They would not give any information and simply said they would take the phone number off the list. They called back a few days later again the same thing. Then someone named XXXX called. I informed him again we have no relatives named XXXX XXXX. He hung up on me while I was asking him to not call any more.. I called him back and asked for his supervisor he said the supervisor was in a meeting. I then said there is no XXXX XXXX here and he hung up on me again. I Called back again and Got some Woman called XXXX. I asked her for the address so i could send them a letter to stop contacting me and she wouldnt give it to me and got sarcastic.. So i called her a XXXX.. She told me i had no manners so she was not going to take my number out of the system. She had nerve to say all that after i threatened to sue. The name of the company is called- RECOVERY FIRST. No one in this house knows or is related to a XXXX XXXX. I dont know if someone gave the phone number or if this company pulled it out of the phone book. No one in this house or this family owes Recovery first any money.. Pleas make them stop the harassment.

I started getting calls about 3 weeks ago and since I was ignoring them they decided to start calling my family members. Very crude messages are being left stating that I owe money for a loan that I took out with a company called XXXX. The original loan amount was {$1200.00} however I now owe {$300.00} because I paid the rest. When I spoke to the lady XXXX I advised her that she had the wrong person and she told me that she did not that she had spoken to me before and I was disputing the remainder of the loan. I told her that she never spoke to me however she called me a liar and stated that she will just put down that I am disputing the loan, she then hung up on me. After hanging up on me, she called my XXXX aunt and started telling her that I 'm going to jail and that she should either pay the bill for me or talk me into paying it. I told her to not answer those calls and do n't give them any money that I did n't owe this mysterious debt and I was n't paying it. I just got a call from my mother stating the exact same thing that my aunt said. I do n't owe this debt and I want them to stop calling me.

First Recovery robo-dials my home 1-3 times per day and has done so for the past month. They are trying to collect a debt for a " XXXX XXXX ''. We are XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. The person they are looking for has never lived in our home or had our telephone number. We have had our telephone number for over 20 years and we are the original owners of our home ( over 15 years ). The robo-dial message says to hang up if you are not the person they are trying to locate. This is useless as it does not stop the calls. I pressed 0, to speak to a human and advised said human that we are not who they are looking for and to stop calling us. 2 days ago the company representative said she was removing our telephone number from the account. That was a lie, as yesterday we received more calls. Said representative also advised us to " go ahead and sue ''. Our question is how to we get this company to stop harassing us with their robo-dialed calls, what recourse do we have and can a government agency make them stop?

Every year since I had discharged my bankruptcy in XX/XX/XXXX I receive calls from yet another collection firm trying to collect on debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX regardless of the fact that they were included in my bankruptcy. The calls started again at my place of business and on my cell phone XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and have happened at least once a day with an automated message being left on my voicemail despite my attempts to complain to the donotcall registry. I finally called them back today at XXXX and XXXX XXXX told me she was with First Recovery Associates and she was with an " arbitration firm '' attempting to collect on a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$400.00}. She said I would soon be served and when I told her that she is the XXXX company that has bought this debt and that it was included in my bankruptcy which discharged XX/XX/XXXX and would she like my lawyer 's phone number she said she did n't and that she would just take the file to litigation, then hung up on me.

Received multiple telephone calls from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They stated I defaulted on a payday loan from 2011. I inquired where, when and what company the loan was through the agent then said they would just take me to Court and hung up. I called back and an agent identified the Company as First Recovery. I told them that I wanted my attorney to send them a letter and she hung up. They have the last XXXX of my SS # and the last XXXX numbers of my bank account. I have been getting phone calls for a year, sometimes daily, from a company called First Recovery. When I answer there is a recording stating who they are calling for, which is n't me. It tells you to hang up if you are not the person they are trying to reach, however if you do this they will just continue to call. I have waited on the line to tell them I am not the person they are trying to reach and to please remove me from their list. Sometimes they seem to take me seriously and sometimes they just hangup, either way they continue to call. Last week I stopped answering and they have called me every weekday for the last 7 days. The phone call usually comes from XXXX.
