- XX/XX/XXXX, my mom instructed me to sign signature card with First Hawaiian Bank XXXX XXXX in XXXX for the purpose of including me in her checking account in case something happened to her due to medical illness. - XX/XX/XXXX, I requested from XXXX customer service to provide me checking account statement and online access to account because my mom became bed-ridden and terminally ill since XX/XX/XXXX and I needed to start handling her financial responsibilities and affairs. - XX/XX/XXXX or XXXX, XXXX, after my mom 's death ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I personally visited XXXX branch and received statement copies. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was emailing customer service representative and leaving voice messages requesting for copies of cancelled checks dating back one year, after discovering questionable transactions. - XX/XX/XXXX, I went into XXXX branch to inform the bank of approximately 30 unauthorized online transactions and 10 forged checking transactions. Was provided a few documents to take and fill out completely before submitting disputes. During this time, I was asked to sign another signature card. Did not think much of it and why, but I just did it anyway. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, gathered copies of cancelled checks, statement copies, and filed police report. - XX/XX/XXXX, submitted official claims/disputes and notarized XXXX document for filing. - XX/XX/XXXX, I had to follow up on status of claims. Was able to resolve unauthorized electronic transactions during that month, but no status on unauthorized/forged checking transactions. - XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from XXXX dated XXXX, indicating that my disputed forged checking transactions will not be honored because my medically ill mother ( victim ) did not catch a forged check dated in XX/XX/XXXX. Because the next forged check occurred in XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX stated that their policy is that customers will need to file complaint within 30 days of statement available date. 9 out of 10 unauthorized and forged checks were written in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX respectively. It is reasonable that a prudent individual could possibly miss one check as unauthorized. It was clear from submitted claim to XXXX that the perpetrator was concealing action by using the last check from victims check book to prevent being noticed. ( Classic case of Elderly Financial Abuse ) - XX/XX/XXXX, I met with branch manager and customer service representative to discuss the XXXX notification letter and their findings as to why the bank stands by their decision. The meeting became more of a lecture than anything else. Claiming that its the customers fault for not noticing the XX/XX/XXXX transaction. After my in-person meeting, I immediately emailed bank manager and customer service representative to reconsider their decision because XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Customer 's Duty to Discover and Report Unauthorized Signature or Alteration states. ( 4 ) Without regard to care or lack of care of either the customer or the bank a customer who does not within one year from the time the statement and items are made available to the customer ( subdivision ( 1 ) discover and report his unauthorized signature or any alteration on the face or back of the item or any unauthorized indorsement, and if the bank so requests exhibit the item to the bank for inspection, is precluded from asserting against the bank such unauthorized signature or indorsement or such alteration. The burden of establishing the fact of such unauthorized signature or indorsement or such alteration is on the customer. I provided the reference in my email and asked that they consult with XXXX legal team for their review. However, the branch manager decided on her own ( without legal team review/response ) that XXXX does not acknowledge local law and remained steadfast on decision citing HRS XXXX : XXXX Deposit Account Rules and Regulations and Other Information for Personal Accounts. - XXXX XXXX, I received an envelope in the mail. It was post dated on the XXXX of XXXX. In it was an XXXX XXXX Rules and Regulations booklet effective XX/XX/XXXX. No note, no letter, no nothing. In the booklet, there were XXXX highlighted lines. One in the Table of Contents ( Statement; Reporting Errors Promptly ), the other in page 8 paragraph 10. I emailed XXXX staff that this gesture was very insulting as a loyal customer to the bank. I expressed my disgust and the level of mistreatment I had been experiencing. I ended my email stating that this needs to be resolved immediately. I have not heard or received a response to my email to this date. My personal view.It is apparent that XXXX does not stand by its Notice of Intent section of their Customer Affidavit form ( see attached 2. Customer Affidavit and Police Report XXXX ).

For the last few months, I have been receiving an overdraft notice from XXXX regarding insufficient funds. I overlooked it once because I was not charged an overdraft fee and was told in the past it was a glitch in the bank system. Doing the month of XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX I received another one and decided to call the bank because I had more than enough funds in my account to cover any payments or debits charged to my account. After talking with the XXXX customer service agent she tried to explain it to me verbally but it did not match my account. So I was told to go to one of the branches so it could be explained to me. Upon arriving at the XXXX branch I went up to a teller to see if I could get a statement of my account to go over with the in-branch customer service agent. I was told I was told I was unable to get a statement of my account in this branch. So I decided to see if I could get one from the in-branch customer service and was denied again. So now I had no other recourse but to request a manager and got the branch manager name, XXXX. After talking with the branch manager I was still denied a copy of my bank statement. I decided to call the phone customer service for help and she explained that I had every right to a statement copy of my account and she asked me to put the branch manager on the phone. Once the branch manager got off the phone with customer service agent he only then printed out a bank statement for me. I asked him to show me where it shows my account overdrawn to receive overdraft. The branch manager could not find it or show me as my online account and his print out of my statement matched. I asked the branch manager could I have the statement he printed out and was refused. Once I got back home I decided to call the XXXX customer service department to see if I could get a copy showing how I got to the overdraft. I was told by everyone I talked to that I can have it verbally My account never ever reflected me being in overdraft. In the first week of XX/XX/2018, I got another letter from XXXX above three more overdrafts that do not reflect on my online statement. I have told and emailed XXXX for years to please decline any charges that I do not have funds available for. Because of the problems, I have with XXXX I also go above and beyond to make sure my account is fully funded. The overdraft notice I received the first week of XX/XX/2018 I decided to ignore because I felt it was a vigorous act of stupidy for my challenges before. Today XX/XX/18 I look at my account and I notice another overdraft in my online statement and I had no other recourse but to call the bank. At XXXX XXXX I talked to a customer service agent name XXXX. Again I asked how did my account get an overdraft on it and could I have it on paper that I am willing to pay for if needed. XXXX tried to explain it verbally as I told him it does not match my online account statement. XXXX told me he is unable to get me a copy, so I asked for a supervisor. XXXX told me he would a supervisor call me back. XXXX XXXX I decided to call back myself an ask for a supervisor, XXXX XXXX I got supervisor XXXX and asked again can I have some paperwork showing how we got to this overdraft that I can pay for that does not reflect on my online statement. XXXX told me she could not and again I was told I can only have it verbally. So now I had no other choice but to ask for a manager. Now I got XXXX XXXX who explained to me that he is the top XXXX in customer service and no one above him as I tried to request. I tried to get him to explain but noticed he was a dud. I attached copies of my statements to show the complaints I am disputing. Overdraft letter received in the first week of XX/XX/2018 is attached below as ( overdraft ) with my online statement for that month attached as ( XX/XX/XXXX statement ). My most recent one for a check in the amount of {$14.00} is available for viewing in attachment ( XX/XX/XXXX statement ). I also attached extra statements for the days leading up to this date to show my account was fully funded for any withdrawals or debits. I also attached files showing funds that were held already for debits and available funds left for me to use. The files will show the days surroundings the overdraft claims.

On XXXX XXXX 2016 on the XXXX the gentlemen .... wrote a check to me for the sum of {$800.00} and signed the check and handed it to me both the two of us have the same Bank First Hawaiian Bank and my branch is in XXXX his branche is in XXXX when he signed and dated the check and handed it to me he stated that he had just switched banks his Branch used to be in XXXX and now he 's in XXXX he mentioned to me that the check would not be good until after the first of the month he has written me checks just like this in the past and I proceeded to call the bank several times to check and see if the funds were available before I deposited the check I did n't want it to bounce. The only reason they would check on that for me is because I also have an account with them so there is a record of my phone calls to the bank several times asking them if the check was good what my name was what his name was and what the amount of the check was at one point he was threatening that he was going to cancel his check I was hearing from other people so I send an email to the bank letting them know that this guy has a substance abuse problem and it 's just a little bit troubled in his mind and to please watch out for this happening because I do n't want this to happen I was getting ready to fly to XXXX for a funeral and I did n't want any problems with my funds in my account. He preceded to go to the bank and say that he did n't know me I stole the check and the bank just took his word for it and deducted {$800.00} from my checking account here I am in XXXX now with a negative balance in my bank and I feel it is the bank 's responsibility, to some extent, to research an incident like this before they just go ahead and take my money had they looked in to my previous checks written to me and seeing he 's written checks in the past that 's the first clue that he was lying to them and compare the signatures obviously it 's his signature I watched him sign it then we would n't be in this big mess right now and they wo n't even speak to me the bank I 've been a good customer of theirs they just brush me off and deducted the money from my account and I feel alone and left in the dark and kind of betrayed by my bank why am I being punished because somebody has chosen to lie to the bank so that they will not have to pay for something they already bought and still have the the product?? I feel that First Hawaiian Bank owes me as a loyal customer a little bit more than brushing me off not listening to anything I have to say not letting me file a complaint in response to what has happened to me and just leaving me hanging here with a negative {$800.00} in my account!! I really just want someone to care and to listen and to look into this matter and give me the same consideration that he was given. This man basically purchased something for {$800.00} and decided once I flew out of town that he did n't want to pay me and claims to the bank that I stole his check which is 100 % a lie and I feel very strongly if the bank just slightly looked into this matter and considered my situation instead of just believing him that it would be obvious what the truth is. Because I know the only fraudulent transaction made was him lying to the bank and saying he did n't write and sign that check! FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK XXXX BRANCH and XXXX

Hello my name is XXXX XXXX, I am an authorized user to speak with. My partner XXXX XXXX is being harassed, threatened about a fraudulent debt. XXXX is an XXXX in the United States XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX was to be his last payment of {$450.00}. First Hawaiian Bank if accusing him now of owing an additional {$1600.00} due to late fees & interest accrued on those late fees and if he did not pay in full they would tow the car on XX/XX/XXXX. He was offered a " deal '' that he must now agree to pay {$450.00} per month until XX/XX/XXXX. We have proof via XXXX & XXXX stating that since XX/XX/XXXX he has paid on time & as agreed. We also have XXXX statements showing the allotment going out each month. Prior to XX/XX/XXXX he had been behind on payments. He spoke with XXXX at First Hawaiian Bank & received a 4 month deferment because he was willing to set up an automatic allotment. His original payoff date was XX/XX/XXXX. With the deferment it became XX/XX/XXXX. He was told upon asking that due to the deferment he would owe no late fees or added interest for the 4 months being deferred. He was also told his payment would not change. XXXX asked XXXX if the allotment which pays out on the XXXX for the military would be alright with his pay dates. XXXX stated it was alright and if there was a problem he would submit the paperwork to fix the issue for XXXX and not to worry. XXXX has not heard from First Hawaiian Bank regarding any issues since XX/XX/XXXX when he spoke with XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. He received no letters at all, no mail, no notices. On the XXXX he started getting the harassing phone calls, even while at work. I believe he is being the victim of a predatory bank simply because he is in the military and stationed in XXXX rather than XXXX. They are threatening his very livelihood and military career as he would lose his clearance level if they repo the car. Desired Resolution : First Hawaiian Bank cease and desist with all harassment. Give a formal apology to XXXX. Drop all fraudulent fees immediately. First Hawaiian Bank will honor the original agreement as was put in writing, stating once the allotment was in place XXXX would have no late fees, no added interest, and final payoff would be XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$450.00}. First Hawaiian will mark loan as paid in full and release title to XXXX. In summary First Hawaiian bank has the original documentation by XXXX stating all was taken care of, the allotment would be fine as it was, keep original payments of {$450.00}, there would be no late fees or additional interest. The loan would be deferred and therefore extended to XX/XX/XXXX the pay off. We have documents from XXXX different credit agencies showing that First Hawaiian reported XXXX as paying on time, as agreed since XX/XX/XXXX after speaking with XXXX and setting up the allotment. We have XXXX statements showing the allotment for the payment. We have received no written notices, only harassing, threatening phone calls. We wish it to stop and for XXXX to pay off his loan XX/XX/XXXX as agreed and be issued his title showing free and clear as well as loan documents stating paid in full.

I am XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Victim Identification Number XXXX within the US Department of Justice Victim Notification System. My current bank is exhibiting the same behaviour as my previous bank that led to the criminal cases justifying the the assignment of my current victim identification number. It is possible that the culprits in the previous Department of Justice cases have started again against my banking accounts and identity. My current complaint is as follows : XXXX XXXX XXXX was grossly negligent in causing a 30 day late payment on my First Hawaiian Auto loan account. I have two direct deposit incomes into my XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account. One direct deposit of {$3400.00} is deposited on the XXXX day of each month. The second direct deposit of $ 1,700.00+ is deposited on the XXXX day of each month. I established automatic payment transfer from my First Hawaiian checking account to pay my XXXX XXXX XXXX auto loan account. For the last 16 months, the bank has paid the auto loan from my checking account as agreed. On the XX/XX/XXXX, my direct deposit of {$3400.00} entered my XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account. The bank subsequently debited my checking {$520.00} and paid my XXXX XXXX XXXX auto loan as I have previously arranged. The bank has done so for the last 16 months on the first day of each month. I departed my residence on the Island of XXXX to visit family members living abroad on XX/XX/XXXX. Upon returning to my residence on the island of XXXX on or about the XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered the bank negligently failed to transfer {$520.00} from my checking account to pay the auto loan. Although my {$3400.00} direct deposit entered my checking account on the XX/XX/XXXX, the bank negligently failed to make the automatic payment from checking to the auto loan. I then withdrew {$1000.00} and paid the Auto loan twice. One {$500.00} payment for the month of XX/XX/XXXX and the second {$500.00} payment for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. Although the bank personnel apologized for the oversight, the bank still damaged my credit rating by placing a 30 day late payment on my XXXX and XXXX credit reports. I request immediate assistance at reversing the banks unjust intentional negligence and a immediate restoration of my good payment record on my auto loan. I believe the bank to have acted in reprisal against me because of a complaint I filed to the banks headquarters reference the banks unfair pattern and practice. Please assist at preventing unfair pattern and practice conducted at XXXX XXXX XXXX. I further demand that XXXX XXXX XXXX correct the status of the payoff of my XXXX XXXX XXXX mileage plus credit card. The card was paid in full via a consolidation loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX has reported fraudulent information to XXXX and XXXX claiming the credit card to have been closed by the consumer with a balance due. The credit card was paid in full via a consolidation loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX. There should not be a balance due on the credit card. The banks unfair pattern and practice coupled with its blatant fraud upon my credit report has damaged my credit rating.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX week of XXXX I went to use my debit card and was denied. I went immediately to the bank, on the way I checked my online banking statement and noticed a lot of charges that were not mine. I assumed this was why my card was shut off. The bank confirmed the shut off but said that they could not stop them I have to wait till they clear to dispute them. XX/XX/22 went back after charges clearing, and finding new unauthorized charges they reissued me a new card and had me fill out, and sign a dispute for XXXX charges going back to the end of XXXX. They assured me XXXX days a response will be given. XX/XX/22 I was told I got paid 1 day early, for some reason my online banking was by then inaccessible to me so I went to a ATM to get a balance to make sure it was all there as I recently have had issues. My whole check plus the remaining balance from my last frauds were not there a balance of {$1600.00} not counting the issue charges that should have been there. I called many times in the next few days to talk to someone but it being a weekend I did not get a hold of anyone. I again check my balance via atm and it showed a balance of XXXX. Please keep in mind I knew there was no money available to me from my last fraudulent charges and have not used my acct and actually had to wait for a new card, so no new usage should have been going on. After waiting many hours on the phone I finally talk with an XXXX and he informed me that the charges were coming from my husbands card which initially started the flag but did not shut off that card they shut the wrong card off so the charges continued to a more higher price of withdrawals not authorized. I'm concerned because the card in question has never been formally turned on by me or my husband and doesn't even have a PIN and has never had any usage. It is also a few months from expiring. This card has also been kept in the safe in the same envelope it was shipped to me in. Why flag my account, turn off the wrong card, continue letting them steal from me, and then making me wait for an investigation to give my money back when its the banks error? They need to make me whole now and do the investigating and try and get the money back that way. I'm not at fault, they are especially since the woman who helped me file the XXXX dispute was the branch XXXX at that location. She should have noticed something of that caliber and it doesn't look good that the XXXX is ready to incumber losses that easily whether it be the banks or the costumers. This has emotionally traumatized me as we live paycheck to paycheck budgeted and all of my bills can not be paid. I'm incurring late charges. I have small children that rely on this for their everyday lives. I trust the bank to keep my account clear, but clearly there is an issue going on inside the bank as you flag an account, don't turn the flagged card off but continue to let it happen. This is a very big problem.

I have had a pending issue with First Hawaiian Bank, regarding a scam that took place. In the previous complaint i filed it goes into more detail. I was given a fraudulent check in which i deposited {$2600.00} into the bank. The next day, even though the check had n't been cleared, i was allowed to withdraw half of the money. First Hawaiian Banks policies state that until the check has cleared, only {$200.00} would become available to me next day. Yet, I was able to withdraw more than stated amount. This is an excerpt from First Hawaiian Banks website on their policies for depositing checks. Q : What does it mean if I receive a hold on my account after I have made a deposit? A hold means that although we 've received your check for deposit, you wo n't be able to use the funds until the hold period has expired. Depending on the type of check that you deposit, funds may not be available until the third business day after the day of your deposit. However, the first {$200.00} of your check deposits will be available on the first business day after the date of your deposit. If the deposited item is returned unpaid before the hold expires, those funds will not be made available to you. If the deposited item is returned after the hold expired, we charge your account for the amount of the item. Holds are placed to help protect both you and us from losses that could occur when a deposited item is returned unpaid. Situations that typically cause a check to be held include : -There is reason to believe the funds may be uncollectible-The source of the check ( e.g., foreign checks ) -The account is a new account ( new account rules apply for the first 30 days the account is open ) -The account has repeated overdrafts in the last 6 months-You deposit checks totaling more than {$5000.00} on any one day-Fraud is suspected-The check was previously deposited, then returned unpaid-The check was not properly endorsedAs a XXXX year old, making her way through the tough economy that is XXXX, I never had much money in my bank account, and if First Hawaiian Bank checks their records they 'll find that previous to this transaction my account had been over drafted several times before. At the time I deposited that fraudulent check, i only had about {$3.00}. I will not pay for the negligence of First Hawaiian Bank, I should have been protected under these policies that are stated so clearly on their website for everyone to see. A hold should have been put on my account. Never had I deposited a check that big before into my account, that should have been a red flag in itself.

I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and exist almost entirely on about {$1800.00} Social Security and a Pension of {$900.00} per month. I also had a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXhat is now largely defunct because of lack of product for sale but still incurs some monthly expenses. I am temporarily living in the XXXX XXXX with a loving adoptive family. The policy of First Hawaiian Bank ( FHB ) is to charge {$30.00} PER DAY for an overdraft of even XXXX XXXX resulting in monthly fees of hundreds of dollars.Until the last month, I was without a computer or internet-capable phone to deal with such matters. The result was accumulation of hundreds of dollars per month in bank fees that are growing monthly and yielding colossal profits to the bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Complaining to the customer service line ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, usually XXXX XXXX on hold ) eventually started to resolve some of the problems. It seems that the small business-related standing order fees taken from my bank 's debit card were marked as to be paid even if overdrawn. This arrangement was ceased about about 6 weeks ago so that I can deal with the vendors directly and NOT incur overdraft fees. There are also standing orders for payment on a XXXX credit card ( {$200.00} per month ) and on a XXXX XXXX loan ( {$380.00} per month ). I verbally told the bank NOT to pay these and had to put a stop on the former payment for which I was charged another {$30.00} ( added to the overdraft ). I repeatedly told them not to pay ANY standing charges because of the exorbitant overdraft fees. I do not know how to contact FHB with written instructions, or how to change bank accounts. This month, they paid the {$380.00} loan payment and, of course started up the {$30.00} per day fees, this is now results in accumulating fees so large that I will be lucky to obtain half of my total retirement income. Just missing a loan payment would only delay the payoff date or result in a future double payment, the following month, but this is not possible when my account is being drained by the bank. To be fair, the customer service people do try to make small concessions, like a XXXX XXXX re-imbursement but the trend is going to be eventually no money for living costs, food etc. This is really frustrating, and is affecting my health. I can not return to XXXX to deal with the FHB bank or visit the XXXX XXXX as the airfares are more than my social security income. I can not believe that the the exorbitant overdraft fees can be legal, as they are so reminiscent of a XXXX loan shark operation!

This is a complaint against First Hawaiian Bank for its grossly incompetent management of its supposedly new and improved website. I 've been a customer since approximately 2003, and I have never had problems with my account as bad as I have in the last few months with the roll-out of the new site. Tonight, I spent one hour trying very hard to access my account online and then trying to transfer funds. Along the way, I made two phone calls to FHB Online where I spoke with a total of four representatives. Not one of them had even the slightest clue of how badly the site was performing. Specifically, every time I tried to perform ANY operation, the site automatically displayed an error message. When I tried to make an external transfer FHB Online stopped the attempted transaction and said it would send a code to my phone for verification. But FHB never called my phone -- even after an hour. The broken system did nearly the same thing when I tried to ( re ) add my XXXX account as an external account. FHB displayed a message that my XXXX account credentials were invalid. ( Yet these were the same credentials that I have been using on my XXXX account for years. So there was nothing wrong with my XXXX online ID, password, or pin. ) But far and away, the very worst issue was my truly sad experience with " XXXX '' in the Online Banking Department. ( She said it was bank policy to refuse to provide her last name or even an employee number. ) Despite the incredible amount of time XXXX and I spent on the phone with her asking me the same questions over-and-over again, she could not understand that the FHB site was not performing as she expected it to. For example, she insisted there would be a blue arrow in front of my name. After asking me about this three times, I refused to answer the same question anymore. I had enough with the FHB site and its employees who were deeply in the dark about the site 's issues. There is obviously something seriously wrong with the FHB website. It is not performing adequately. While I was on the phone with FHB, I had absolutely no problem accessing my XXXX and XXXX accounts. So the issue is not my connection -- and hopefully not even my XXXX browser. Clearly my access to funds through the site is blocked. But I am far more concerned with FHB 's employees ' inability to troubleshoot, assist, or even acknowledge something is wrong.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from First Hawaiian Bank reference CFPB case # XXXX. The bank stated there was insufficient funds in my checking account onXX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX, to pay my car loan. My First Hawaiian Bank auto loan is routinely paid by monthly automatic debit from my FHB checking account on the XXXX XXXX of each month. In this complaint, I provide a copy of my bank statement which shows that my checking account balance on the XX/XX/XXXXwas more than {$1000.00}. My direct deposit of {$3400.00} was deposited on XX/XX/XXXX and dwindled to {$1000.00} by the morning of XX/XX/XXXX. By the end of the day on XX/XX/XXXX, My checking account balance stood at {$630.00}. The bank had ample time to deduct the {$500.00} automatic debit to pay my Auto loan. The balance in my checking ex ceeded {$500.00}. On the morning of XX/XX/XXXX, a second direct deposit of {$1700.00} was deposited into my FHB checking account bringing the total amount of funds available to {$2400.00}. From XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX, my FHB checking acc ount balance remained between {$730.00} to {$2400.00}. The bank again had ample time to deduct {$500.00} to pay the auto loan since my account balance exceeded {$500.00}. On the morning ofXX/XX/XXXX, my bank statement shows a balance of {$2100.00}. The bank again failed to withdraw {$500.00} to pay my FHB car loan. On XX/XX/XXXX, a second direct deposit of {$1700.00} was deposited to my FHB checking bringing the total balance to {$1800.00}. From XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX, My FHB checking balance remained between {$560.00} and {$2100.00}. Between XX/XX/XXXX, the bank had ample time to deduct the {$500.00} automatic debit to pay my Auto loan. Upon realizing the banks error, I immediately made two payments of {$500.00} on my FHB Auto loan. The bank negligently failed to initiated the approved automatic debit to pay my auto loan, although funds were clearly available, and then made a false late payment report to the three credit bureaus. I want First Hawaiian bank to immediately remove the false late payment from my Auto loan payment history and to restore my excellent payment history to the three credit bureaus. My attached bank statement is evidence above and beyond a reasonable doubt.

I recently discovered a late payment entry on my credit report for my FHB auto loan in the amount of {$1000.00}. The late payment occurred in XXXX XXXX and another FHB account balance still {$4500.00}, actually all of account been PAID OFF! I deeply regret this oversight and take full responsibility for the delayed payment. However, I would like to bring to your attention the fact that I had no prior knowledge of this late payment as I did not receive any communication from FHB regarding the missed payment. Throughout my history with FHB, I have maintained open lines of communication and promptly addressed any financial matters. However, in this instance, I did not receive any calls or correspondence from FHB alerting me to the missed payment. It was only when I reviewed my credit report that I became aware of this late payment entry. As an XXXX XXXX XXXX member, my deployments often present challenges in managing my finances. However, I have consistently made it a priority to ensure that my payments are made on time. I find it unfortunate that I was not contacted by FHB regarding this late payment, as I would have taken immediate steps to rectify the situation had I been made aware of it. I kindly request your understanding and compassion in considering a goodwill adjustment to remove this late payment entry from my credit report. As a loyal customer of almost XXXX years, I have demonstrated responsible financial behavior and have consistently made timely payments on my accounts with FHB. This isolated incident does not accurately reflect my commitment to meeting my financial obligations. I genuinely value the relationship I have built with First Hawaiian Bank and believe in the exceptional service and support provided by your esteemed institution. I trust that you will take into account my loyalty, responsible financial behavior, and the lack of communication from FHB in evaluating my request. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience to discuss this matter further or to request any additional information that may be required. I can be reached at XXXX or via email at XXXX. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter and eagerly await your favorable response. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

I was frauded by a XXXX. they called me to loan me money. We went back-and-forth negotiating amount, percentage and terms. They wanted to deposit into my personal checking account through my mobile app. I checked with my bank first and they said that if there 's anything suspicious they would send me a code by text to my phone number. of course I could always change my password. so they make the deposit I 'm not knowing in what fashion and it shows up in my account. The bank accounted for the deposit. The bank did not inform me that it was just photocopies of these checks. Photocopies of the front and back so the signature could be seen. XXXX made two deposits in this way in the middle the night and they showed up being accounted for in my personal checking account. again I was ignorant of the photocopy deposits. I was to wire back money to an account manager from XXXX which in their words was proving my checking account and identity. when my checking account was accounting for the deposits I 'm thinking well this could be legit. Five days after the first deposit was made, the first check bounced. The bank called me to inform me so I go down to close the account and I actually paid for the debit that was incurred by the bounced check from XXXX. I informed the manager which was the second check from XXXX. She initially said she of course would put a stop payment on that check. she then realized I paid the transaction by debit card and said that she could not stop payment. So firstly my complaint is that the bank was excepting an accounting for photo copies of checks in the middle of the night with forged signatures. it was very unusual actually never did I deposit checks through the mobile app into my account. The checks were made out to me and then forged with a signature on the back of my name. Obviously it was not my signature. I closed the account before noon on XX/XX/XXXX, The checks were forged, photocopies, and known fraudulent and the back still cleared the second check. thus it bounced. I do n't care if it was the transaction initiated by debit card she knew the company was fraudulent she knew the check was forged and she still cleared it. First Hawaiian Bank did not have basic security to protect me.

We've had our First Hawaiian Bank credit card for at least 3 years now and their system has always processed the online payments the same way. For example, the due date is on the XXXX of every month and when I go online to make the payment on that day, they don't reflect the payment being made on time but instead, the payment is applied when they receive the funds. As a result, their system would charge me a late fee and an interest on the purchases but they would also AUTOMATICALLY REVERSE these charges. They've done this for the past 3 years and I always thought that it was a glitch in their system as they're the only bank I know that doesn't reflect the date the online payment was made. The problem started about 2 months ago when they stopped reversing these charges. Again, my payment was always made or scheduled on time - by the XXXX or XXXX of each month. Once I saw that these fees were not reversed, I contacted them and asked that they do the same thing. I was told that they would as a one-time courtesy but future payments would reflect a late fee unless they receive the funds by the XXXX. In essence, XXXX states that the due date is on the XXXX but in reality, the consumer has to make the payment XXXX business days in advance to avoid the late fees and interests. I pointed out that they're the only bank that does this as every financial institution that I deal with - XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, even the XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX cards, show the date that the payment was made online. I received a standard " thank you for your email ... payments are reflected when the funds are received ... '' reply. I asked why but they kept repeating the same answer. I asked my friends and family around and they have the same experience. A few of them just paid the fees without question and I feel that that's a deceptive way of doing business. This needs to be changed as soon as possible.

On XX/XX/2023 I applied on the First Hawaiian Bank website at about XXXX for their " Pure Checking '' checking account. After filling in the online forms and pressing submit, the next screen said I was declined. I called the number on the screen ( XXXX ) and talked with XXXX. I asked him why my application was declined and he could not clearly explain why. I told him I currently had credit locks on all 3 of the major credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) and he said it wouldn't affect their process to check to see if I can open an account. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said she wasn't available. Her name is XXXX, the manager of FHB Direct, he told me. It is XXXX and I haven't gotten a call back from XXXX XXXX I received an email from First Hawaiian Bank that said : " Dear XXXX XXXX, Thank you for your interest in opening the following account ( s ) with First Hawaiian Bank : Pure Checking Unfortunately, your application has been declined. If you think your application was declined in error, or feel you are receiving this email in error, please contact us at ( XXXX ) XXXX or toll-free at ( XXXX ) XXXX. You will need your application ID : XXXX Sincerely, First Hawaiian Bank '' I think XXXX told me incorrect information about the process that his own bank does when a person applies for a bank account. I have had adverse letters before for credit card applications, and they all explained the reason ( or at least who to contact to find out why ) I was declined the credit. I don't understand why the email from First Hawaiian did not include the reason for the denial. Is First Hawaiian Bank in compliance with applicable laws governing disclosure and/or transparency when customers apply for bank accounts? Therefore, I would like a written explanation of the reason for my denial. All phone calls will be ignored on advice of counsel.

IN XX/XX/2022, I called First Hawaiian Bank ( FHB ) for a payoff amount to pay off the rest of my loan. I dated it for 2 weeks in the future to allow for time to cut the check and travel time to Hawaii through the USPS. After a couple of months, I called FHB to inquire on the status of our title because we had not received it yet. Come to find out, my check was not cashed until 3 weeks after the check had been cut and there was a {$3.00} balance on my account. I offered to pay the remaining amount and wanted their guarantee that this would be the last payment. However, they agreed to write off the balance, and informed me that since it was at the end of the day, her manager would write off the amount the following day. Another month passes by, and we have yet to receive a title or any acknowledgement that our loan has been paid in full. So I call back again, mind you everytime I call, I have to sit on hold for at least 45 minutes to speak to someone. They again tell me that nothing is owed and I should receive the title soon. Again, nothing received and on top of that, they reported our payment being 30 days late to the credit bureaus which negatively affected our credit score. I set up payment of {$10.00} to be sent to FHB because I just want to be done with this and I called again. They informed me that my loan has no balance and that the reporting of the late payment would be corrected in the following month. We finally did receive the letter stating the loan was paid in full in XXXX but we also received another derogatory mark on our credit stating our payment is 60 days late. It is ridiculous how much time has to be wasted because the employees of this bank are incompetent. I will NEVER do business with them again.

In XX/XX/2021, I applied for a mortgage with First Hawaiian Bank ( FHB ). After submitting my complete financial and employment history, my mortgage loan officer, XXXX XXXX ( XXXX # XXXX ), recommended that I pay for a rushed home appraisal ( {$700.00} ) and mortgage lock rate ( {$1700.00} ). Per XXXX XXXX 's guidance, I submitted a check for the mortgage lock rate on XX/XX/2021 and paid for the rushed home appraisal on XX/XX/2021 via my credit card. It was my understanding that after submitting both payments my mortgage was finanalized -- XXXX XXXX stated nothing to make me believe otherwise. However, prior to submitting these fees, XXXX XXXX failed to disclose : ( 1 ) she had little to no communication with the FHB mortgage underwriter up to that point, ( 2 ) the loan was not even close to being finalized, and ( 3 ) there is a possibility I will not receive 100 % refund should my mortgage be denied. Thus, it was out of blind faith, and trust in XXXX XXXX 's advise, that I paid both fees. It was not until XX/XX/2021 that I received the preconditional loan approval -- weeks after being advised to submit the fees. Similarly, it was not weeks later that I learned the FHB mortgage underwriter had concerns regarding my financial eligibility and my mortgage approval was in jeopardy. My mortgage was ultimately not approved. The fact of the matter is, if I would have been correctly advised, I would have never submitted either payment. I've raised my concerns with FHB, and attempted to dispute the fees with XXXX XXXX 's supervisors, but they insist they have done nothing wrong and there is nothing they can do to help.

I was in the XXXX, so I opened a checking and savings account at First Hawaiian Bank. I maintained the account for about XXXX years, with periodic deposits and withdrawals. We left XXXX because of a XXXX move, and I did n't close the account. It had about {$400.00} or {$500.00} in it, and I had an auto loan through the bank, so I kept the account open when we moved. I did n't touch the account for a while, and when I tried to login to the account, I could n't access it/retrieve my account number. My mistake was that I connected the account to a XXXX email address, so I had no way of retrieving my account number. I called the bank to find out how to access the account, only to be told that I could no longer access it, and they were charging me a monthly fee to keep it open since it was n't in use. I asked how to close it. They said that I had to mail a letter with my name, XXXX and current address requesting that they close the account and mail me a check. I mailed one letter, and checked back a few months later. They said that they had never received it. I mailed another letter, and they rejected it, saying my signature did n't match closely enough the signature I used when I opened the account. After pushing continually XXXX multiple phone calls over the course of a nearly a year to a standardized customer service number ), I finally reached someone who could help me and would give me her phone number to call and follow up on the situation. The account is now closed, and I received a check from FHB for the remaining money in my account -- but this process cost me more than {$100.00}.

I am so sick of this .... On XX/XX/2023 I initiated a {$120.00} payout XXXX XXXX that had a displayed processing date of no later than XX/XX/XXXX ( the next business day ), which means the funds would have typically posted to my bank account by the XXXX. Upon checking my survey.com account and email I can see that not only was the payout not processed by that time, but has also not been processed at all as of the XXXX, which means that, at the earliest, the payout won't be sent to my bank account until next Tuesday! Because I am very familiar with the timing of the payouts from this source I had a delayed emergency payment to another account scheduled to not post until just after this payout posted, but that is not what happened since I haven't received any funds as of yet on time for this payout. I also had a payment scheduled from another which posted to the account on time as it should have because they appropriately processed it in a timely manner. Both payments would have posted at the same time if it wasn't for XXXX mishandled this. This has caused my bank account to be overdrawn and a {$30.00} NSF fee will be assessed this weekend or on Monday the XXXX. I am absolutely livid and disgusted. I absolutely can not afford to pay this extra fee expense at this time because of this company not processing payouts in a timely manner. I understand that this is not FHB 's fault or a bank error, but the extra fast processing of the charge to my account on the XXXX instead of the XXXX is questionable. I am requesting reimbursement of the {$30.00} NSF fee.

I'm a loyal customer of First Hawaiian Bank ( FHB ), and in early XXXX, I opened an installment loan with FHB ; the term was XXXX months, and I arranged for automatic payments/withdrawal. Unbeknownst to me the final payment could not be made automatically, but rather require manual payment. I received notice in early XXXX that my final payment was past due because it was not automatically deducted and that I needed to make the final payment manually. Up until the final payment, I had never missed a payment. I called FHB on XX/XX/XXXX, and informed them that I didn't know the final payment had to be made manually, and that I could wire payment immediately. I was told if I initiated the wire transfer that day, I would be within 30 days of the due date, and therefore, it would not be reported to the credit bureaus as late. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from FHB that payment was received and they would not report the final payment as late to the credit bureaus. In XX/XX/XXXX, I reviewed my credit report and noticed FHB did, however, report the payment as late -- and it affected my credit scores negatively by over XXXX points. I called FHB on XX/XX/XXXX, and left a message with the loan department to inquire about the situation. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called again and was told the loan department was unavailable but that a message would be left on my behalf and the loan department would return my call. On XX/XX/XXXX, having not yet heard back from the loan department, I called FHB again -- and once again was told the loan department is unavailable.

I opted to share this situation because its important that the community knows how bad greed has permeated at this financial institution. First Hawaiian Bank is literally taking money from me each month, and I have tried a number of times to stop it. Unfortunately, I have my life insurance tied to the account ; therefore, I can not close it. Its not hard to imagine a group of banking executives at First Hawaiian Bank scheming about increasing profits setting up fees, rules and policies to game the system. In essence, my bank is charging me an online fee for no reason. I have tried to rectify the situation and they tell me that it is my fault ; I must have clicked on something on their website to trigger a charge. I called to stop the monthly leakage in my budget after being on hold for hours ( it has been several calls over the last few months, this fee re-emerges ). It has been over a year, and I have tried a number of times even talking to the bank manager after several calls to the service center and online inquiries. I believe that the bank has gamed the system with rules that they make up to basically funnel more money to their coffers. First Hawaiian Bank should be ashamed. If you look into this policy and their explanation of it, it is a circular argument intended to take advantage of the situation. PLEASE PLEASE LOOK INTO IT. For any consumer thinking about doing business with First Hawaiian Bank, please know that once youre in, they will take advantage of you!

Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX. I filed an arbitration against XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) on XX/XX/2022. I am requesting that Consumer Financial Protection Bureau open an Investigation due to this company is evading its responsibility to respond to arbitrations. The company has to pay the first arbitration fee, but they didn't pay and XXXX closed the case. First Hawaiian is under XXXX 's rules and thereby violating the contractual agreement. There was a person representing the company who I was emailing to discuss this but he ignored my emails and disappeared. I feel frustrated and hopeless. I have wanted to resolve this matter in the best way but the company evades its responsibilities. My credit has been greatly affected by this problem and I have not been able to get loans, my financial life is ruined and I don't know what to do. Also, First Hawaii says that the last payment can not be taken out by auto pay They claim they sent me notice but I moved and am getting all mail forwarded to my new address and did not receive anything. when I setup auto-pay no such thing was told to me about the last payment not being able to get paid by autopay. I am sending a check now to pay off the account in full I have spent a lot of time and money for this reason I write this complaint to you. Please see attached the correspondence from the XXXX XXXX XXXX and the arbitration clause.

Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX. I am reaching out regarding the ridiculous credit denial that I have just been through. Last week I applied for a {$7000.00} loan through first Hawaiian bank to be forwarded from my friend as I am taking over his car. This loan already has a down payment and has already mostly been paid off. I have A max of {$1400.00} in debt which is being paid off as we speak because that amount is negligible. Aside from that I have spent the last year building my credit upwards of XXXX points from the XXXX that it was last year at this time. I have proof that my three credit scores prior to applying for this loan or XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Since applying my credit score has dropped XXXX points, XXXX points, and XXXX points respectively. The bank is then telling me that my credit score is not sufficient to support a measly {$7000.00} loan. They are basing their denial off of the credit scores that I now have after their inquiry. This is very unethical and I am very unhappy. I can have this loan paid off in seven months but we applied this loan over the course of two years because that is the current life of the loan and I decided to keep it that way. I have never seen a bank deny a loan to someone with good credit because they are using the post inquiry scores. Please look into this matter on my behalf I am happy to provide any information needed. Thank you

I was the victim of a scam recently, I 've had my account at First Hawaiian Bank for less than a year and I 've never had too much money in it as I am only XXXX and just making my way in life. I was sent a fraudulent check by someone I thought I could trust for {$2600.00} which I deposited into my account via teller. I was instructed to use this money for an employer who would be moving in to my area to get his apartment ready for him and his family. I was told the funds from the check would be immediately available the day after. I withdrew {$2200.00} the next morning and sent it to who I was told was my employers " landlord and agent. '' I became suspicious of him when he became exceedingly demanding and I told him I would n't continue until he arrived, this only enraged him and he threatened to call the authorities on me and said I was trying to take advantage of someone who was deaf. Out of fear I withdrew the rest of the money {$380.00} to be done with it and sent it to the same person. Days later I receive a call from my bank telling me my check had bounced. But I had already sent this guy money! I just do n't understand how the bank can give me a loan, which is what they did, without my knowledge or agreeing! I feel cheated by my bank for not protecting me, not only has this left me with a big debt on my shoulders but it 's emotionally tolling.

First Hawaiian XXXX began taking {$10.00} per month from my " Totally Free Checking '' without my knowledge and consent in XXXX XXXX and has done so for the past six months - I had no prior warning or knowledge nor did I give them my consent to charge my account. They called the change an " Inactive Account Fee '' but it shows up on-line as a service fee. In either case it was a fee for doing absolutely nothing and serves no purpose except to steal money from the accounts of those who trust the bank is protecting their money. I can leave money in my safe at home for free with no " inactivity fee '' so why would I agree to put it in a bank and be charged. I had no prior knowledge First Hawaiian XXXX would act like XXXX XXXX and charge money or change your account without any knowledge of the account holder. I guess they learned from XXXX XXXX that stealing money from consumers is very profitable. I have asked them to return the money taken from my account without my knowledge or consent and they have refused. These thieves are just like XXXX XXXX - charging fees to accounts called " totally Free '' without authorization or the knowledge of the customers. I plan to close the account and never do any business with these thieves again. When is the US Government going to do something about these dishonest banks?

XX/XX/2020 - Paid off loan that matured after making payment arrangements to pay {$200.00} every two weeks with the Loan Recovery Department at First Hawaii Bank. I called to make arrangements with them when my loan hit the maturity date and my payments never faltered. Today ( XX/XX/2020 ), I was turned down from an auto loan because of this charge off. I called XXXX XXXX, Recovery Agent for First Hawaiian Bank, to ask why they have it reported as a charge off when it was paid in full. She stated that " First Hawaiian Bank reported the loan as a charge off because it was transferred from one department within the same institution to another department. I asked them if they could remove the charge off and she said that by law once the charge off is on, they are not allowed to remove it. I stated that the information is incorrectly being reported because I paid the entire amount of the loan and did not settle any of the amount. I even paid interest on it in which the bank charged me in order to make they arrangements. The information that they reported is incorrect. They agreed to take my payment arrangements and did not explain that they loan would be reported as a charge off even though I made the necessary payment arrangements.

First Hawaiian Bank closed my checking account and gave the fund in my account to the XXXX XXXX w/o telling me! They cited that I had not used my account in over a year. But I have had non-activities with my checking account before and what they did in the past was charge me $ XXXX and they quickly refunded it as soon as I called customer service. But this time, they put my account into dormant situation and actually closed it and gave my balance away! At the time, I had over {$700.00} in my account. So this closure isnt due to negative balance or anything. I called their customer service number XXXX around early to mid XXXX to inquire about it. First they said they my account would go into dormant if there were no activities for 3 years, then they changed the time frame to 1 year as soon as they saw activities dating back XX/XX/2019 ( less than 2 years ago ). Then they said they would help me get my account and balance back. They claimed that they contacted their XXXX branch ( where I opened my account ) and someone at the XXXX branch will contact me but i have not been contacted by any of them! It is as if they just ignored me and my issue! My email and phone number are both up-to-date with First Hawaiian.

I'm writing in regards to my car loan with First Hawaiian Bank ( FHB ). I paid off the full amount of my car loan yesterday afternoon and the money was taken out of my checking account today. When I logged onto the FHB app, the loan was still active and not paid off. I then called FHB customer service and was informed that it would take 3-5 business days to post on my FHB account and at that time, I would still be charged a daily interestrate. This is an unacceptable practice and it is outright stealing. I paid off my loan, and I shouldn't have to pay a penny more because FHB takes nearly a week to post a transaction. We are nearly a quarter of the way into the 21st century, there is no excuse why electronic payments are slower than sending a check by the USPS. The customer service representative informed me that she spoke to a loan officer and assured me that I, specifically, would not be charged more interest for my loan since I paid it off. If thousands of people are experiencing what I experienced today, and they do not fight for their money, this institution will make an exorbitant amount of money from those who have paid off their loan in full. It is unacceptable, and immoral. XXXX XXXX

Hello I checked my balance with the teller twice during the week that the NSF fees are charged to me. I asked her if there were any outstanding balance due. She said that there were none. The next day or two charges for insificent funds began to be charged to my account. I went to the bank and spoke with the manager on the first day of the charges accruing and she said that this was not something that the branch handles. However, on the paperwork that First Hawaiian Bank sent me the bank states that I can go to any branch and they will tell me what my balance is. I called the XXXX XXXX Hawaii branch and they told me to give them my phone number and they will call me back. No one called me back. First Hawaiian Bank was not forthcoming with the outstanding balance and then added the charges for the insificent funds. First Hawaiian Bank had me sign up for overdraft protection plan for checking account and then told me that if I didn't want to get charged for the overdraft fee I will have to opt out of the program that they told me to sign up for to avoid this matter. When I went to the bank to see what happened, the teller told me that I should have read the fine print.

This is in regards to case XXXX. I 'm fighting First Hawaiian Bank, they are looking for unjust compensation for a mistake one of their younger representatives made by releasing to me money from an uncleared check. A check that totaled {$2600.00}. The FHB policy states that I should have only been given {$200.00} of the {$2600.00} until the check had cleared. It never did, but that did n't stop their unprofessional and obviously unaware staff from releasing to me ALL the money THE DAY OF. It also seems that the ambassador FHB had chosen to dispute my last response on the CFPB website had n't done their research either. I had an overdraft fee almost every month I had been a member of their bank. But why would they withhold and deny me that information? I am disputing this, I have received letters from collection companies sent to my address harassing me to pay. I will not be held responsible for a mistake THEY made. I was handed money that should n't have yet existed until it had been verified. I refuse to be bullied and taken for by a bank that could have easily AVOIDED this problem. First Hawaiian Bank could have just as easily prevented this.

I continue to have issues reading my bank statement.Debit card purchases frequently do not show the business name where the purchase was made and will show a shared address i.e a shopping centre/plaza address for the business. I have brought this to the attention of my bank, who claim it is nothing to do with them, that it must be the businesses.I have approached businesses involved who have checked with their IT people and they say it's nothing to do with their side. I am sick and tired of trying to make lists of addresses of business where I use my card, just so I can check my statement is correct. Is this normal, it never used to be that way until after the bank made updates. Example : Pin debt purchase. Terminal # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Hi... ... ... - XXXX Instead of quickly locating the business reciept I now have to hope the reciept has an address on it and that the reciept hasn't faded! I have letters from the bank..stating not their issue.I have also had phone calls to customer service when I can't find a matching reciept and ask who the money was paid to... They can't tell either.

We took out a loan with First Hawaiian Bank for 36 months. Because we paid monthly onetime periodically we were offered a deferred payment option as a gift for paying on time. Particularly this was given around XXXX. This was promoted as a good opportunity for the customer but as it turned out this was a tactic for the bank to charge us another year of payments and thereby charge another $ XXXX thereafter because they charged interest everyday on the balance when deferment was offered. This is a deceptive business practice whereby the bank gives the impression the payment will be collected at the end of the 36 months when in all actuality they are charging interest daily which means the customer ultimately pays XXXX the cost of the original loan. This is a unethical business practice whereby the bank can extort extra charges, interest and fees against customers with a good payment history. This is very deceptive how the calculate the added interest opposed to added the deferred payment to the end which already includes the interest when the payment would have been paid. Shame on FHB.

XXXX XXXX only sent a letter that I included in the file upload with no explanation about what account deposits are not in accordance with First Hawaiian Bank rules and regulations. I have been making the same deposits with First Hawaiian Bank going on three years and really would like to know what changed on XX/XX/2019. I included my bank account statements for the last three years. I hope this would help XXXX XXXX explain exactly what deposits are not in accordance, this is a first for me. I was giving to XX/XX/2019, to either close my account or XXXX XXXX will do it on the bank 's behalf.

Contacted the bank to report unauthorized charges to the account. Bank refused to do anymore of the investigation to my account for unauthorized charges. Provided detailed information about the issue of the charges and have explained to them about what was happening. They said that the information given on this form was an error and that the charges were made by me. From the bottom of that I was charged additional to my account and it started reoccurring charges on my account. They never called me back for the confusion of this matter instead of saying it was no longer a case to solve this problem then ended my case. Charges was all from XXXX and XXXX. With this situation my credit score decreased tremendously and I was not able to apply for a loan. I've been scammed multiple times by the action from the past from banks that pretending to be an actual credit card company confirming my account. Given the fact that I received phone calls to contact the police and transferred me to the police office and no record was there to be contacting.

A few weeks ago I had a balanced low balance of $ XXXX. XXXX pending transactions posted on the same day in XXXX of the same batch processes. XXXX was for a {$10.00} charge for a credit card payment and the other was a {$10.00} deposit to my account. Rather than reconcile the post batch processes correctly and credit the {$10.00} deposit to my account they charged the {$10.00} credit card payment against the account balance first thus causing the balance to dip into the negative and cause the initiation of a {$30.00} fee making the total negative balance reach $ XXXX. Just after this they posted the {$10.00} deposit to my account causing the negative balance to reach $ XXXX. If they had properly reconciled the batch transactions the balance would have still been $ XXXX. But, XXXX from the car loan department was supplied with her first line account information requesting her to please cross reference payments that were applied to my car loan. This is almost a year and FHB car loan does not reflect all the payments made towards the vehicle.

In XXXX 2016 called First Hawaiian Bank 's Consumer Service to let them know about a fraudulent charge on my credit card. He says that I should have placed my complaint in writing and that the time to do so had Expired. To me this is disingenuous and hypocritical. My response is that their Customer Service representative led me to believe that the problem had been resolved. Thank you
