On XX/XX/XXXX, I initiated an XXXX transfer of {$100000.00} from my online savings account with First Foundation Bank. Their web site stated that the funds would arrive by XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, or I would receive notification that it would be later. No problem was indicated, yet the funds did not arrive until Monday, XX/XX/XXXX. As a result, I lost XXXX days of interest ( approximately {$30.00} ) that I asked the bank to make up for ( I knew and was prepared to not get interest XXXX XXXX during the XXXX transfer ). After XXXX weeks of attempting to get a response from bank management, they refused -- saying that XX/XX/XXXX was a banking holiday. When I pointed out that they had not sent me any notification and that their XXXX transfer times were always longer than other banks, they still would not budge. I filed a complaint with the FDIC, which regulates this bank. The FDIC asked the bank to respond, and the FDIC took more than 30 days to tell me of the bank 's response on XX/XX/XXXX. The bank came back with a screenshot showing that they had informed me that the transfer would be done on XX/XX/XXXX. That screenshot the bank sent was not available on their web site until XX/XX/XXXX -- long after I could have taken any action to change the transfer. Even if I had done a wire transfer and paid their exorbitant wire transfer fee, I would have been out less interest than almost a week 's worth. When I pointed out the ( possibly deliberately misleading ) error in the bank 's response to the FDIC, they refused to do anything -- even follow up with the bank again. They simply stated that XXXX transfers were not in the domain, and I had to contact XXXX. I did so, and they told me they only take complaints from financial institutions and XXXX XXXXperators. They said I should contact you. I strongly feel the FDIC is not doing its job in regulating this bank -- but I am hoping you can help me navigate these bureaucratic waters and compel the bank to pay me the extra interest they caused me to lose by not following their own published XXXX processing times or giving me promised notification in a timely manner.

On XX/XX/2023 I was performing account reconciliations and noticed that two checks were XXXX checks out of sequence and for larger amounts. I immediately called the local branch we deal with and the branch manager told me I should have noticed it and called it in within 24 hours of the occurrence, that there was nothing they could do about it or were willing to do and he hung up on me. So we visited the other local branch and the branch manager there told us she was reporting it to their fraud department but it may take a REAAAAALLLLLY long time to resolve it. That is unacceptable, but we went ahead and reported it to them and to the sheriff 's department. We have also reported to the FDIC, Florida AG, California Division of Finance, and Florida and were told to report to you by them. It has been 6 weeks or so since we reported the occurrence and upon checking in with the bank today, they have still told us there is no news and will not let us speak to their fraud division. I do not know that they are even doing anything about it. I think they are liars and it is probably from within the bank. I think they need to be investigated. I have no notice that it has been submitted to their fraud department except her word and she won't let me speak to them.

First Foundation Bank will not allow me access to the funds in my savings account. I can not transfer out of my account and they have locked the account
