I pulled up my credit report and realize that first financial resource, Inc. Is reporting a debt of {$630.00}, the original creditor is XXXX, I contacted the original creditor and they told me that the debt is too old and it 's not in their system anymore because first financial resources took it over. So I contacted first financial resources Inc. and I let them know that I have insurance and it usually covers all my medical bills. They told me that maybe I did n't have insurance at the time of the service. I then contacted my insurance company which is health safety net I spoke to XXXX she confirmed that I had insurance from XXXX XXXX, XXXX till XXXX XXXX, XXXX and then I renewed it XXXX XXXX, XXXX to XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The service date from skin pathology laboratory was on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and also XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Which means I was covered during that period of time. So then I called first financial resources to explain to them that I was covered during that period of service but they told me that maybe the doctor sent the XXXX outside XXXX XXXX XXXX therefore the hospital is not responsible for this bill. Please understand that I am a XXXX I have been treated a XXXX XXXX XXXX I have had over XXXX XXXX done at the XXXX without any problems from XXXX until current time. I have had XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX my insurance always covers me I believe that the doctors office failed to bill my insurance instead they sent that to the wrong address, I was not aware of this debt and its 6 years old. But they feel that it 's my responsibility for their mistake. The type of XXXX I was diagnosed with was due to stress I 'm XXXX free now I beat it, but this company is putting so much stress on me and ruining my credit. I 'm starting to worry about my Heath and getting sick again. I do n't think this bill belongs to me and if you did I want solid proof so I could submit it to my insurance company ( no just a copy of a bill ). Thank you very much for your help.

On XX/XX/2019 I received a call from First Financial stating that I had a past collection from a company named XXXX of XXXX. They provided me with all of my personal information such as full name, date of birth address maiden name, etc and stated I could settle this balance for a payment of XXXX. They also included that I had an available open balanced credit card to put it on and that they would only be able to do it today so my credit score wasn't affected. I was in a panic because my husband and I were in the middle of purchasing our new home out of state so I paid the XXXX. Come XX/XX/2019 a different collections company called me stating the same exact thing.. I owed for a past XXXX account, I owe monies,,, etc I explained to them that I had already settled but had no documentation ( only cc statement ) and they proceded to get pushy saying it wasn't fulfilled with them, I need to pay today or it will affect my credit ... etc etc. I don't remember this company 's name ( papers are packed somewhere ) but I wasn't paying twice. So I tried to contact the company who called me first, First Financial and can not get anyone on the phone. Goes to a generic automated voicemail. Called XXXX XXXX XXXX and explained that I had a fraudulent charge ... I had to write a letter stating my concerns. They took the XXXX off my account due to fraudulent investigation. As on XX/XX/2019 my card company placed the XXXX back on my card with the explanation of they are satisfied with what First Financial provided. I can not get a hold of that company whatsoever and that is all my CC company is providing.. Now here I am filing a claim,,

I previously submitted a complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX for continually harassing me about a debt that they say I owe. The collect attempts began in XX/XX/XXXX when they sent me a pocket summons stating that they were going to sue me for a bill through 1st Financial Bank in which the last date of payment was XX/XX/XXXX. I also received a demand for payment the same month. I responded by certified mail XX/XX/XXXX requesting validation of the debt, my ownership of the debt, and their ownership or ability to collect on the debt and did not receive a response from the firm until XX/XX/XXXX, which was a copy of a statement from the credit card company 1st Financial Bank. In XX/XX/XXXX I received a second pocket summons stating that they were suing me. I responded to the summons and once again requested validation of the debt. In early XX/XX/XXXX they sent me copies of paperwork requesting information from me and discovery. At this point I submitted a complaint against the law firm and 1st Financial Bank with Consumer Finance. I explained that the debt they are attempting to collect on has not been verified or validated, and is also beyond the statute of limitations. The firm responded to the complaint. I then responded and sent a letter through certified mail asking for them to cease and desist and to stop harassing me. I never heard a response from them stating that they would stop contacting me since they do not have the legal right to do so. I received documentation yesterday, XX/XX/XXXX that they have filed against me with the court.

Kindly treat this as a formal complaint about the unethical loan practices I recently experienced. I took out a loan with First Financial Services back in XXXX. I was later involved in a serious XXXX accident in XXXX, in which I failed to continue making the payments and had no further contact with this company. I recently received a notice from my place of employment that First Financial Services has issued a garnishment against me to repay this loan. My wife contacted First Financial Services yesterday and spoke with XXXX. I 'm not sure what was discussed between the XXXX of them, but my wife conference called me at work. XXXX said she had my file and discussed that I borrowed against a XXXX XXXX XXXX. The last communication she had was on XXXX XXXX, XXXX when I told her that I was involved in a XXXX accident. I asked her why am I now being contacted on a charged off debt. She laughed and said because she found me ... XXXX also mentioned that a deputy served papers to my address and obtained a signature. I advised XXXX that I never signed anything. The address on the court document is a residence we moved out of 3 years ago. I had n't lived at that address in over 3 years and do n't know who occupies that residence. She said it did n't matter and what matters is that she has a signature and she found me.

I have grown increasingly concerned about my treatment as a customer ( a long-term and valued one ) by First Financial Bank. I have maintained an active program with this bank for more than 35 years ( including its predecessors before the buy-out ). I have always been in good standing. Recently, I had to take on a short sale of my property in XXXX, Indiana. First Financial was the loan holder on the second. I have signed a promissory note to pay the balance. However, today, when I called, I was greeted with very poor customer service. The behavior of those in the debt office at their corporate office are rude, incompetent and very belligerent. I have been shocked by the level of outright nastiness and lack of cooperation. Amazing. Today, I was told the office would not return my call. This is an appalling state of affairs there. Simply put, they probably deal with hundreds of bad situations. And, they do not really care about those in my position. I am also contacting their leadership on this matter.

Your choices don't exactly fit my situation, but if you look at the online call reporting sites you see this is obviously a debt collection scam. A phone message comes in from XXXX or a similar number with a recorded message stating this is an effort to collect a debt and I or my attorney must call back to XXXX. They never mention my name or their name or the name of the company to whom I supposedly owe the debt. The message always cuts off right before they are supposedly giving a reference number. I have not called back, as this is not a toll free number, but others who have reported this number ( the XXXX number ) have attempted to call back and they are hung up on when they start demanding information about the supposed debt. Apparently the entity using this call back number does this every tax season. I am in the middle of Chapter XXXX bankruptcy. No legitimate debt collector would be calling me.
