On Friday XX/XX/2020, I was contacted by Financial Freedom Mortgage LLC ( FFM ), located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX ), for the purposes of obtaining a mortgage refinance rate quote. I was told by the opening sales person that they would need to run a soft inquiry of my credit report and I consented to a soft inquiry only, since I was still shopping for rates and was not ready to initiate the refinance yet. I continued with the phone conversation and was transferred to another sales person who told me that I was pre-approved for a loan. The sales person did not advise me that he was running a hard pull on my credit report and at no time did I give authorization for them to do so. The next day my credit monitoring service alerted me of the hard pull. FFM used a third party, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), to run the report. I contacted XXXX that day and they advised that FFM ran not one, but two hard pulls of my credit report on the same day. I filed a complaint with them and advised that I did not consent. On Monday XX/XX/2020, I contacted FFM to file a complaint and I first spoke to XXXX ( refused to provide me with his last name ) who advised that he was the Loan Officer Manager. I explained that I did not give consent for a hard pull and he advised that I should have assumed that when I was pre-qualified that they were going to run a hard pull. I continued to explained that the first salesperson I spoke with made it clear to me that only a soft pull would be conducted. XXXX was very defensive and combative and abruptly hung up on me. I called back and insisted to speak to his manager. After not allowing me to speak with anyone else after twenty or so minutes he finally relented and transferred me to his supervisor, who identified herself as XXXX XXXX. Ms. XXXX advised me of the same information that I should have assumed that they were running a credit report since I was applying for a mortgage refinance. I advised her that I am well aware of that a hard pull would have to be done eventually and that I was shopping for the best Annual Percentage Rate ( APR ), and that I was lead to believe that they were only conducting a soft pull of my credit report. Ms. XXXX advised that she would have XXXX XXXX, who is one of their Vice Presidents, contact me. On Thursday XX/XX/2020, Mr. XXXX called and I advised him that I did not want to do business with his company and that they never had my authorization to conduct a hard pull of my credit report which violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act. He said he would look into it and the conversation ended. During the week of XX/XX/2020, I received a letter in the mail from FFM advising me that they pulled my credit report. I have not heard anything additional from FFM. As a result of their hard inquiry of my credit report, it adversely affected my credit score by reducing it multiple points.

Contacted by XXXX XXXX from financial freedom mortgage about end of XXXX. I explained to her I would not be discharged from my bankruptcy 2 years until XXXX this year and that all previous finance companies said had to wait 2 years. After arguing I talked to XXXX ( supervisor ) she assured me that freedom financial was a maryland company and was able to do the refinance before the 2 years. They said my credit was a soft pull. Turns out hard pull. XXXX XXXX came to my house to do the mortgage application on XX/XX/XXXX an assured me and my husband we had a loan for all our debt accept our cars until the appraisal came back. He collected {$580.00} for the appraisal and assured us we would have it back in 2 weeks. I had to borrow the money. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I was contacted by XXXX XXXX for the next step. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX She set up the appraisal all the while assuring me we had the loan. The appraisal came back and then XXXX XXXX said there was no loan and I was out the {$580.00} for the appraisal. She is refusing to forward me to corporate to request a refund of the appraisal fee because they promised me it would be refunded. I was informed they shouldnt have even offered me a loan before the 2 year mark after a bankruptcy discharge so they couldnt even in good faith give me a loan. I have attempted to get corporate contact information from XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX by phone and email with no response. When there is a problem no one has a boss. The last time I requested contact information was XX/XX/05. I dont think Im going to get a response. I feel like they are offering loans they should not be offering and taking advantage of people. I do not have {$580.00} to throw away. They promised me the money back. They even tried to get me to skip my XXXX mortgage payment because they assured me I had the loan. Its weird to because I was receiving a lot of calls requesting to buy my house to. My husband as well. Are they getting people to skip their payment and then get further in the hole so they have to sell their house? They actually pulled my credit twice. XXXX XXXX also tried to tell me the appraisal was good for 6 months and I was advised that this is not true. Every lender usually wants their own appraisal.

In XXXX of XXXX my husband and I were considering a refi of our current mortgage as rates were low and we were considering home improvements. My husband received an offer from Financial Freedom Mortgage and we decided based on closing costs etc to not go with the loan, instead we used the funds we saved. My husband received another call from Financial Freedom Mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX asking if we were in the market for a refi, I heard his response as I was sitting right next to him, he said NO. The woman asked for a meeting with us. He said my wife would never agree to this. The woman asked if a manager could speak with him the next day. He said the manager could call but rates are too high. My husband never gave permission to pull his credit nor did I speak to anyone giving them permission to pull my credit. I was notified by XXXX XXXX later that day that my credit was pulled. The manager called my husband on the XXXX. My husband told him that they had no permission to pull our credit. The manager denied having hard pulled our credit but of course they did. Now we are receiving calls all day long from mortgage companies trying to get our business. They had no right to do this and I feel very at risk because all the mortgage companies calling seem to have access to our credit scores. Since my husband told the manager at Financial Freedom Mortgage what they did they have not contacted us again and when we try to call them they dont take our calls. I want them to contact the credit bureaus and notify them of their error. They will not take our calls.

On XX/XX/2020 my wife and I filled out an application for a refinance from Financial Freedom Network ( main office XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX New Jersey, XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX ) Local office XXXX XXXX XXXX ). At that time we were set up to have an appraisal done on my house located at XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX. XXXX Md XXXX.The cost of the appraisal was {$580.00} dollars and it was set up for approximately XX/XX/2020. The appraisal was done as scheduled on that date and I paid for the appraisal. As it turned out the company weeks later denied my loan. I asked for a copy of the appraisal on three occasions at the end of XXXX. I spoke with my loan officer named XXXX at the home office who indicated they would send it. It is now XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and I still have not gotten it. It is quite evident that they do not intend to send it and I understand it is against the law not to send it. I am working with another lender who also sent several request which they have not responded to. This process is holding up my present loan from the other company. I have the same complaints others have written to the XXXX regarding this company. I see no need to repeat as it appears to be a pattern of behavior with them. Approximately during the week of XXXX XX/XX/2022, XXXX XXXX ( VP ) came to our home and lied about the time it would take to apply and close on the loan. He stated approximately two weeks and it has been over a month since any progress has been made other than our having paid {$480.00} for an appraisal that they were quick to have completed. At this time, we still have not received a copy of the appraisal or a copy of our documents that were signed and completed during his visit. My husband has called numerous times and very seldom makes contact with anyone or just receives voicemail. When he does actually talk to the loan officer XXXX XXXX he continues to be given the run-around in having anything completed or sending over a copy of our appraisal. I've been told this is a ploy that is done by some loan officers in order to delay the completion of any refinancing with other companies as the only way we can move forward, would be to pay for another appraisal. This we will not do. If the matter is not settled quickly, we will be contacting our lawyer.

I had received a call about refinancing with Financial Freedom Mortgage , LLC. These people were all quick to get all of my information and even the vice president of sales visited my house for me to sign some paperwork. After that, I had a heck of a time getting in contact with ANYBODY from this company. I was told that I had to call their appraiser to set up a time for the appraisal. That made no sense. The appraisal was done on XX/XX/XXXX and here it is XX/XX/XXXX and I still don't have it! Apparently the underwriters have it but they cant give out information! So I paid {$480.00} for something they will not give to me. I had to stop the loan process due to getting laid off from my job so now NOBODY answers emails or phone calls!! I either need my appraisal or my money back. I complained to FHA and they said there was nothing they could do but they gave me your email address to contact you. XXXX : XXXX this agent persisted me on a daily basis and when I decided not to continue they pressurized me to complete assuring me they where best and would benefit me. I explained my concerns with closing costs and they assured me it was normal. I subsequently have been advised its above average. I was also told they would consolidate all our debt only to find most of it will be consumed by closing costs. Then insisted we close to lock in rate and now they going ahead and ensuring process would be efficient. Since signing I have not heard from company! Sent emails and phoned but they unable to assist and was not able to speak to anyone who could assist. I have no idea what is going on and now told payments due XX/XX/XXXX when I was told it would be 2 months of no payments and no information about debt consolidation which was reason to start with. Now we continue to incur interest and the closing fee of {$17000.00} is excessive as I told them! This is our house and we have worked hard for it only to be poorly managed. We continue to incur costs and nobody is helping!

Applied for a refinance loan to cover mtg. and one personal. Their rep came to my house. Collected personal documents ( W-2s, Tax returns 2yrs., pay stubs ) I paid for an appraisal ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) My loan processors were ( XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. ) I was told that this would be completed in 10 days. This was the last week of XXXX. I was told not to make any Mtg. pmts. going forward. This cost me a {$92.00} penalty due to waiting on the lenders. I also spent almost {$600.00} for the appraisal. I was told the day their rep came to my house that he would return my personal documents via mail after he made copies of these. Have not received them as of yet. The appraisal came in short and they kept telling me to wait for them to try another method for the loan after 2 mo. XXXX XXXX offered me an ARM loan which I said no to. I haven ' received a copy of the appraisal report nor my personal documents. I have tried to contact both loan processors to no avail. The wont answer my calls or emails.

We applied for a loan on two of our rental properties. They took our information over the phone and assured us we were approved. Sent out VP Mr. XXXX who assured us we werre approved, said they needed approximately {$1400.00} for appraisals. Once we paid the money we were told our application was in processing on the way to underwriting, promised we were going to closing. Prior to going into processing we provided them with all of the documents required to obtain a loan, great credit rating and everything. We were to close within a week, two days before closing we were told we were not getting the loan but we could have our useless appraisals. So we are left without our money and without our loan. No loan number or anything. VP XXXX stated that he has 5 or 6 people he visits a day, at that rate they dont have to exact any loans, they can just promise everyone a loan, collect a check and move on the the next

Financial Freedom Mortgage of XXXX XXXX NJ will continue call and solicited me over a year after I asked them to stop calling me. I ask on each phone call to for them to stop calling and they say they will but a few weeks later I get a call again from them. They got my information from XXXX in XXXX of 2019 and I seriously regret completing that application. I was harassed by over a dozen lenders and all stopped calling me when I asked them to stop except Financial Freedom Mortgage NMLS # XXXX. They are an abusive company that doesn't care about me or what is best for me, all they want to do it make a quick buck from their consumers. The are the reason many lenders have a bad sigma.

I am being continuously called by a company called, " Financial Freedom Mortgage ''. I have never applied for anything on line, NOR have I asked for help paying bills. When I called them today, the woman was telling me that I HAD TO HAVE FILLED SOMETHING OUT on line. I called back and asked for the manager, and the woman XXXX, who answered the call, said she WAS the manager. I asked her how they got my number, she said I filled something out and supplied it to them. I told her someone must have supplied the wrong number and I told them TO STOP CALLING ME. I am on the " do not call registry '', so they should not be contacting me. Their phone number is XXXX.

Dear Sir/Madam, On XXXX, I clicked on an ad that was willing to tell me how my mortgage payments would change from a 30 to 15 year refinance. I did fill out my information but opted to not be contacted. That was 2 months ago. I have been contacted by Financial Freedom Mortgage. I have repeated ( 2x a day ) asked them to not contact me as I am not interested in a new mortgage. I even spoke to a manager twice and told them to stop contacting me. It has now become harassment.

I have never done any business with this company, nor have I sought a mortgage with the company. They repeatedly call me on my cell phone and attempt to solicit my business. I have registered my phone on the federal do not call list and asked the company to stop calling me, but that has not helped. The company will call and ask me if I want to apply for a mortgage, when I say no and hang up, the company calls back immediately and tries again.

Hello, I had inquired about HARP a while ago. When I found out that it would not benefit me, all of the companies stopped calling but this number continues to call me, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
