I was in touch with XXXX XXXX because I am part of the Public Loan Forgiveness program and I was wondering why my bill was going up and come to find out that my income driven repayment plan was being submitted saying I have XXXX kids because I was using a company called Federated Student Loan Advisors who would send me only page 4 of the request every year and I'd submit my pay stub information and they'd submit it to XXXX XXXX for me. XXXX XXXX alerted me to the scam and made a note on my account and I cancelled my services with Federated Student Loan Advisors but they ask you to sign this the below email which feels kind of suspect as well. I alerted my bank as well so that they will stop any further payments and will now just submit directly with XXXX XXXX each year on my own.
Waiver of Liability Whereas Federated Student Loan Advisors is performing financial, processing, consolidation, servicing, monitoring, annual loan re-consolidation re-filing services.
To client mentioned no longer wishes to have these services. Client wishes to forfeit, discontinue, and cancel clients monthly fee credits and the completed all services.
The client also hereby chooses to pick a course that causes a lot of services to stop and loan re-payments to go up monthly.
The client wishes Federated Student Loan Advisors to secure files of all client information including security pin.
Client will hold Federated Student Loan Advisors FREE from harm or liability in this client initiated action by signing below.

I recently became unemployed and thought I was calling XXXX to enter a forbearance and ended up talking to XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and later to his " manager '' XXXX XXXX, who convinced me ( in my desperation to not have the {$270.00} to come out of my account ) to switch my loan over with them. They stated that XXXX was being accused of " fraud '' and they could me a student loan forgiveness in which I would only have to pay {$19.00} a month. However, first there was a fee of {$690.00} to switch it over, with a monthly fee of {$230.00} or biweekly of {$110.00} in 6 payments. They gave me a " discount '' of {$590.00}, " only '' paying {$99.00} biweekly. Later, I researched them and saw several bad reviews and went to my bank, XXXX, and was advised to get a new debit card so they couldn't take money out of my account, instead of " stopping payments '' because that would cost me {$25.00} a month. I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and was advised the same and to block all their calls and have no further contact. I have yet to make any payments to them.

I have contacted the company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX but they are closed. My loan was transferred to XXXX and my credit report shows the same amount for XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX as if I own both loan services. I have also received a letter stating that my loan has been forgiven.
