PAC Financial was the company I had to work with when I found a XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX. On XXXX I signed a contract to finance {$8900.00} with my payments being XXXX for 56 months. I honored this contract every month paying the monthly installments. Recently I decided it was time to upgrade, so I found a XXXX XXXX XXXX that I liked at XXXX XXXX. First thing in the morning on XXXX XXXX test drove the car and told the salesman I wanted to take it home. He began to work on getting a purchase agreement for my XXXX XXXX as a trade in. When the sales man called to get a payoff on the XXXX XXXX from PAC he mentioned how rude and difficult the representative was. He said they did not want to give the number to him and was more concerned with when they would be receiving their check. I wasn't surprised because the one attempt O made to bet a payoff figure myself the representative did not give it to me. Tired of going back and forth I gave up and ended the call. After the salesman confirmed that they would be cutting a check within ten days, the rep finally gave him a payoff quote of {$7600.00} that was good for 10 days. When he told me that the payoff was {$7900.00} I immediately knew the number was too high. I let the salesman and financial director at XXXX know that I had an automatic payment already det up for today the XXXX and they advised me to stop payment on it because the payoff amount will clear out the account. I continued to move forward with the trade in process believing I could rectify the situation with PAC later. After an entire day of meeting all Buicks requirements, I left with my new XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I contacted XXXX XXXX to stop payment they told me that I couldn't stop the payment or anything until the payment had posted to the company and I needed to call back in a few days once it's posted to have XXXX XXXX reverse the payment after they investigate the transaction and reach out to PAC. I monitored my account and called back on the XXXX of XXXX and started the reverse payment process with the bank. I began to go through all my documents related to the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I reached out to PAC and requested my payment history. The representative was short and did not want to go into detail about anything and told me that she is not going to explain how the daily interest works or go over every payment I made. At that point I demanded a manager and was connected to " XXXX ''. He seemed to be attentive and willing assist me. I was able to get my payment history right then and he did explain the things I was asking about. I then compiled all my records and saw that PAC had been taking all their interest payments up front. At times entire payments were going to PAC and my principle balance was not getting any smaller. The print out that was provided by PAC was so vague that I had to create my own spread sheet to show many details not provided in PACS worksheet like how the payment was being divided up and what the daily interest rate was. One of the first things that concerned me was that the finance charge of {$8000.00} was almost entirely paid. I was told that the finance charge is the interest over the whole life of the contract. The contract was for 56 months and I had only barrowed the money for 24 months, so there was 32 months of unused interest that should be refunded back to me. In addition, after paying {$300.00} every month for a year, that my principle balance had only gone down by {$400.00}. I reached back out to PAC and " XXXX '' to see if a resolution could be made. He was not the same concerned individual. In fact, I wasn't able to get him on the phone at all. The representative told me that I was no longer a client and needed to request in writing if I had a complaint or dispute. I went to their web site and filed an electronic dispute and that by doing so I would be contacted with in 10 days. I also wrote up a formal dispute and certified mailed it to them with a guaranteed delivery date of the XXXX of XXXX. Even with both of these forms of disputes recorded and submitted NOONE has reached out to me at all. I recently received a " Notice of Default and Requirement of Strict Compliance '' that was dated XX/XX/XXXX stating that I failed to pay the monthly installment when it was due and that as of XXXX XXXX I owe {$260.00}. The amount that they are stating that is an unpaid monthly installment. However, I have never had a monthly installment in the amount of XXXX it has always been XXXX like my contract agreement provided. Also according to XXXX XXXX during their investigation they reach out to the company the payment was going to and inquire whether the payment was a legitimate charge and if the company says that they need their payment then XXXX XXXX will pay the bill. XXXX XXXX notified me that they were reversing the payment because PAC would not respond. If they would have responded to the bank and told them that the payment was needed to close the account they would have been paid. PAC Financial has been inconsistent with reporting to XXXX the whole time I was with them. They would rarely report and when they did the information they reported would be inaccurate. Now, within 20 days of attempting to payoff my account in good standing, they have reported to XXXX that I am delinquent, and it appears that I have two auto loans out and one is not in good standing. I have been working on my credit score for a couple years not and PAC has dropped my score by 35 points. PAC Financial does not have consistant or accurate accounting. For example when XXXX requested a payoff amount he was quoted {$7600.00}, the check was accually cut for {$7600.00} but looking at the payment history the balance owed as of XX/XX/XXXX was {$7700.00}. The numbers just don't add up. Please help me to understand and rectify the situation I find myself in with PAC Auto Finance XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, Utah XXXX XXXX

I have been trying to pay my car note to this company and they charge an {$8.00} fee that they will not always tell you about. I have been paying on this car for over 2 years and have paid this ridiculous high fee every time I pay by phone or online except for XXXX time. The only way to avoid the fee is to mail it in and they wo n't tell you that unless you ask. I 'm having financial issues and I asked if they could waive the fee because I did n't have enough for it. I was told to call back Monday because only a supervisor could waive it and there was not XXXX in the office that day. So I call back Monday and the agent tells me that I have a credit on file and they could use that for the fee. I done see how I could have a credit when I still have a balance. XXXX of the agents told me that they do n't apply it to the balance unless I tell them too. I had no idea that was the case. And I 'm appalled that they would n't automatically put it towards the balance due. I talked to XXXX different agents and both lied to me stating that there is no way the fee could be waived. When I told them that I know that 's not true because it 's been done once before. They put me on hold for a supervisor. The XXXX time it took too long and I disconnected the line because I was at work. The XXXX agent I spoke with got a supervisor on the line. I spoke with collections supervisor XXXX. She was rude right off the back. She told me that there is no reason I should be talking to her because the fee ca n't be waived even before I was able to explain my situation. When I told her I know that is n't true she said " well, we get charged so why do we have to eat the {$8.00} fee for you?! '' When i asked her for her employee ID number or badge number she stated that she does n't have XXXX. She did n't even let me speak without talking over me or cutting me off until I asked her to let me talk. I then told her to notate my account that I will be mailing in my payment she said NO because I 'll be late and pass the 10 day grace period. My payment is due on the XXXX and I spoke with her on the XXXX. When I told her I 'll be filing a complaint her tone completely changed and said " well I 'm still not going to eat the fee for you ''. She told me that I had " a late fee or something " when I 've never been late. And how could I have a late fee if there is a credit on file and I 've never been late? she went back to " we can put the credit you have towards the rest of the balance and you pay the fee ''. I told her that I do n't have a credit because I have a balance. She then stated that it is applied to the balance, which completely contradicts what the agent who transferred me to her told me. Sthe payment due is {$280.00} and some change. I told her that my statement says different so I wanted to pay the amount on my statement which is {$290.00}. She told me that is not what my statement says. I had the statement in my hand when I was talking to her, and she stated " well, I do n't have your statement in front of me. '' I was completely shocked on how she handled my account, giving me false information and the when I corrected her or asked her questions on what she stated, she completely ignored it and went back the {$8.00} fee. I do not want someone like XXXX, the only XXXX there as she claimed to have any type of access to my account. She gave me false information and lied about me being late on my payments and not clarifying if a late fee was assessed on my account or not. there is no other way to avoid a fee unless I mail it in, and if mailed in, according to XXXX, I will assess a late fee. I do not have the luxury of having the money to mail in a payment and ensuring that the payment gets there on time. I try my best to pay my bills and Sometimes I have just enough for the bill due. I want to pay my bill on time but according to XXXX, in order to do that I have to pay {$8.00} or get a late fee.

I commenced an auto loan for the purchase of a 2008 XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX. Per the terms of the contract, the loan was to be paid in full after 42 monthly payments, of which, the first was paid on XX/XX/XXXX. The maturity date for the auto loan was XX/XX/XXXX. Due to hardship, I fell behind on my payments and was rolling a 1x30 late. I was contacted by a representative of Prime Acceptance on XX/XX/XXXX, who advised they were willing to modify my loan. This took my monthly payment from $ XXXX/month to $ XXXX/month. The loan term would remain the same so to make this happen, Prime Acceptance promised to perform a principal balance reduction so that my loan would be paid in full as of the same date as the initial contract. When I contacted Prime Acceptance in XXXX, XXXX for payoff details, i was informed of an over {$8000.00} principal balance and that my loan would not be paid in full by XXXX if I continued to make my currently payments. When I questioned the terms of the modification, I was advised that the modification did not take place as explained to me. Currently, I have had my vehicle repossessed, which I reinstated the loan on, but I will never get the value back out of my car, and if I had known that I would in a sense, never get through paying for this car even after having paid {$19000.00}, I would have made different choices. I have looked through all my documentation and they never even disclosed to me when this loan would be paid in full post-modification. I feel that I am a victim of predatory lending and need help.

I had a car loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX Utah. It was the worst loan I've ever had. They have robo callers call incessantly. The calls start 3 days BEFORE a payment is due and come in every 60-90 seconds all day. I did fall behind for medical reasons and worked with them to get caught up. I made every payment agreed on and paid my loan off. THEN they called and threatened to repo. They knew I was in the hospital for XXXX and specifically called and paid the pay off amount so I could relax for XXXX. I paid the amount they asked for even though it was {$650.00} higher than my records. They called while I was in recovery and demanded another {$510.00} and said they would take my XXXX right out of the hospital parking lot if I didn't pay. I paid the loan for 5 years. I paid the inflated payoff they requested. Then I paid their additional payoff demand while coming out of anesthesia. They are combative and abusive and threatening. I've had a CPA review my account and he agrees they overcharged me by both the {$650.00} and {$510.00}. Then they took nearly 60 days and 5 calls to release my title. I received a title they hadn't signed off on and then had to work through that with DMV. This company is a scam. They take extra money. They harass people with constant robo calls whether or not they have a payment due. AND they threatened to take the car back after the loan was paid off... until they got another extra payment. Seriously thieves! Please stop them!

Online disputes were filed with all XXXX credit bureaus on : XX/XX/XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and dates older regarding an account where the balances are incorrect. The original balance is listed as {$8700.00} but the past due balance is {$15000.00} which is not at all possible given the original balance was only {$8700.00} not to mention the car was resold and that amount was not deducted from the balance. I have even worked with credit repair companies and this account is still listed on my report incorrectly. After the dispute investigation its only reflected as updated with no changes and no one contacting me via phone or mail acknowledging that a dispute was received. In my opinion, no investigation was completed and this is not just applicable to this account but all accounts that I have disputed in the listed dates above and prior to those dates. I am aware of the Texas code for financial institutions in that surety bond info must be accurate and active in order to do business in this state. After a thorough search, no surety bond information was located for the company listed above. Also when attempting to reach out to that company, there is misleading information about when needing to file a complaint or concern.

I purchased a vehicle from a car dealership whom used PAC Auto Financial to finance the vehicle. Despite encountered medical issues, and hospitalized I was unable to provide proof of insurance whom my insurance company made a mistake on then attempted to make amends for their mistake. At that point PAC would no longer work with the insurance company despite providing proof of being insured the whole time. I have reached out to them on several occasions to resolve the issues with them directly without any success. I now hired a company to pay them off, despite being over a year they have now threatened to call me several times a day to resolve the account with them personally, they have been rude, I have requested to be on the " Do not call list '', and I am actively paying them off with the company I signed up with. I have an account dedicated to paying to them, yet they will not stop calling me. It is relentless, I am in retirement and I can't get a break despite diligently working to resolve this issue. I am at a lost of ideas and don't know what to do.

Over the past few years we have been contacted by the collection agency XXXX XXXX XXXX about our car that was given back in XX/XX/XXXX and they always send us a paper stating that we are not being cooperative and that they will report and damage our credit which it was already reported. The tone of the letters are always threatening and when they call the use the same threatening tone. We have asked numerous times about getting a validation on exactly we owe but we never get it. They even said on the phone that there was 2 amounts listed, we were never given notice of sale after we voluntarily gave the care back or when and how much it was sold for. On our credit they listed as a involuntarily repossession. We sent a certified letter asking once again for the validation on XX/XX/XXXX and it came back yesterday the XX/XX/XXXX unclaimed. We have tried numerous times to get this resolved and they have yet to cooperate with us.

They reported this to my credit bureaus for a year causing false reporting to the credit bureaus. Even though I paid my monthly bill due to the extra fees it reported for a year only {$1.00} to the principal. The additional fees cause my credit to spiral in repetitive false reporting. I forward my insurance on several occasions and has the insurance company to forward via mail and fax since XX/XX/XXXX. I forward the company a letter XX/XX/22 requesting all fees to be removed and was meet with threats of non removal of fees for requesting all contract and removal in writing via mail. My financed car was deemed a total loss in XXXX 2016 due to a flood water in XXXX, Tx. My insurance company payed out over XXXX dollars on the XXXX I owed. I understand I am responsible for the balance, however, once an insurance company makes such a payout it is my understanding they take possession of the vehicle, so how is it that my bank can file my car as a repossession? And claiming I owe more than what my actual balance was after the last payment I made.. Because I am still without a vehicle and ca n't even finance one because of their reported repossession. I made I believe 9 payments on the car and never a single one was late, until after it was deemed totaled and I did not have possession of it. Can they do this and what do I do now? I already lost the job I had, found another only over a week ago, and no car is causing issue again. This is n't right.

In XX/XX/2012, I completed a Voluntary Repossession of a vehicle. I turned it in because I went to XXXX for 6.5 years. the company closed out the account and reported it as a closed account, repossession, etc. THAT account is about to fall off of my report. They then passed the account to a collection agency. They continue to report an open account, past due, each month. Is it legal that an account NEVER ages?? Can they continue to harm my credit on something that has been over with for nearly 7 years? What are my rights? How can I get the collection agency to stop reporting on my credit? It is the only negative left on my credit report. I could get a fresh start after spending 6.5 years in XXXX on an XXXX XXXX as ruled by the Utah Court of Appeals in XXXX of this year. PLEASE HELP. I purchased a car from XXXX XX/XX/2016. They had me finance through prime acceptance. The title to the car was never supplied. In a year and three months through 2 bonded title processes and making a complaint with the MVD, i drove around on a dealers plate, 2 90 day tags, and 3 30 day tags the company went out of business. The finance company repossessed my car three days ago stating the claims was because of 2 late payments. However, the title had never been furnished for me to get hard plates. And the car went to the auction the next day. I was told the only way I could get the car back was to make the full payment on the loan. Will from prime acceptance told me that they ship their cars out of state.

I had an auto loan that was previously repossessed back in XX/XX/2012. This debt is now past the statute of limitations on debt collection. However, they sold the debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX and both companies are now recently reporting on my credit file with a balance. It is against the law for XXXX companies to collect on the same debt.

XXXX XXXX sold me a vehicle that ended up not passing emissions. I also found out, after my purchase, from a 3rd party mechanic that the dealership should have never passed the car for safety, as there was obvious damage to the front suspension. The DMV made me give the car back because it was not able to be registered.

I am currently paying on a car through Prime Acceptance and they constantly call my cell phone which charges me money. Even if I am one day late they call. I also believe they are charging me an unfair amount of interest and late fees. I also requested a copy of my contract and they refused to provide.

After reviewing the loan contract Im confused as to how my total sales price is {$18000.00} if the total amount financed was only {$15000.00} and I put down {$2500.00}. Please assist me, seems like this is a fraudulent contract.

This is an account that was paid off that appears to be negligent in my credit history. I called the company and they said it is an error that I needed to contact consumer finances.
