I have been dealing with XXXX XXXX XXXX and their representatives, Ewing & Ewing for over 7 years on a debt they purchased for pennies on the dollar. InXX/XX/XXXX, I made an offer to settle debts, after them having collected sums over the years, for a sum of {$5000.00} which was an amount I was barely able to gather. They refused the sum and countered at {$30000.00}, not entertaining any other viable and reasonable negotiations. Their representative from Ewing & Ewing proceeded and placed a garnishment on my wages which grosses me, on average, less than the take home of a person on minimum wage. I asked again, in writing, that they end garnishment on XX/XX/XXXX, as they have collected over {$26000.00} from me toward the debt and I felt this was a fair and reasonable resolution. The only response was a " Thank You '' for my email and I'm on the edge of my finances going past 30 days, barely enough for food and on the brink of bankruptcy. All I ask is for them to consider and resolve the matter as outlined a year ago. They have no inventive and continue to steal money from my family as I work hard to make it.
