Evans Law Associates ( XXXX ) called my cellphone XX/XX/2015 and left a voicemail. Then they called my mother-in-law and demanded that she give them my contact information. When I returned the call on the afternoon of XX/XX/2015, I first spoke with XXXX/XXXX. He became upset with me when I told him I had XXXX their number and learned they were in bad standing with the XXXX. He transferred me to a " director '' who said his name too fast to catch. As soon as I mentioned the XXXX to him, he became enraged with me. He told me several times that he would file a lawsuit against me. When he told me I owed $ XXXX instead of {$6800.00}, I told him I would not pay the difference. He told me that if I would not listen to him, then " maybe I would listen to the judge instead ''. Also during the conversation I told him I was a legal secretary so I understood how lawsuits worked. He would then ask me questions and say " okay Little Miss Legal Secretary, if that is what you really are, what will happen ''. He was very rude, bordering on hateful. He told me I was not a lady and he did not have to treat me like XXXX. He told me they would not work with me and accept what I can afford each month. When I inquired about receiving a XXXX if I settled with them, he told me they never send out XXXX. He was very condescending the entire time. He hung up on me XXXX times. I made a point to call him back each time to clear up this matter. When I called back the XXXX time, he picked up the phone himself and screamed " WHAT? WHAT DO YOU WANT NOW? ", and proceeded to talk over me and belittle me. At least XXXX times he threatened me with legal action.
