I thought I closed my mortgage with Equity Home Lenders ( EHL ) XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Louisiana XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX on or about XX/XX/2018 and I recently found in a credit check of myself, that they did not cancel the loan to avoid paying closing cost with the local XXXX XXXX Court ( XXXX ) until they had too. I found this out from my current mortgage holder XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Louisiana XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX who knew that EHL did not cancel my loan and withheld this information from me.
The failure of both these companies EHL and XXXX has cost me financial and personal damages past and present. Presently, I was attempting a refinance loan to make renovations to my home, as my son is XXXX and out of school due to the pandemic. He can easily injure himself and me, as I am in a XXXX XXXX and I injure myself trying to aid him daily.
I have attempted to reason with EHL and XXXX, but both seem mute to why I need have my original loan cancelled. They said they would make the changes asap, but weeks later I still have not seen any changes.
I would like for your office to investigate EHL and XXXX inability to reason and have them make the changes to the record. Investigate my files and all lenders past and present to determine how long they have been violating the lender laws. EHL has not refunded my overpayment of {$410.00} that I made several years ago and reminded them on or about XX/XX/2018.
