On Friday, XX/XX/2022, I received a letter from Entrust Funding, LLC ( see attached ). As indicated in the letter, by refinancing my mortgage at a rate of 2.25 % for thirty years, I would be able to lower my monthly payment to {$1500.00} ( from {$1700.00} ), and thus receive annual savings of {$6600.00}. Since my current mortgage rate is 3.25 %, I contacted the EnTrust Customer Support Representative XXXX XXXX XXXX to find out how I could take advantage of the offer. XXXX told me that the offer was for an XXXX loan and that I would need to purchase Mortgage Insurance amounting to approximately {$200.00} per month. If I agreed to purchase such insurance, the benefit of refinancing would disappear since the total new payment ( mortgage + mortgage insurance = {$1700.00} ) would be approximately equal to my current payment of {$1700.00} per month. I told XXXX the letter received from Entrust was misleading ( bait and switch ), and I was not interested in pursuing the matter any further. After I hung up, I received a phone message from a XXXX XXXX XXXX (? ) ( XXXX ) who claimed to be an EnTrust VP. When I called back, I couldn't reach XXXX XXXX. I am making this complaint because I feel the EnTrust letter was misleading and that the offer made was not serious. The only possible harm I have suffered is the possible hit on my Credit Score due to the credit inquiry made by EnTrust. Also, given the shady nature of the EnTrust offer, I am somewhat worried because I provided my SSN and my wife 's SSN to EnTrust.

Received a mailed advertisement offering a 30 year fixed rate of 1.875 % APR 2.089 on XX/XX/XXXX. I called immediately upon opening the mail, XXXX the same day. The company representative, XXXX XXXX, explained that he was with EnTrust Funding, LLC, DBA of XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. He asked me questions about my qualifications and took my date of birth, address, email, phone number and social security number over the phone and said he wasn't sure he could still honor that rate event though I was calling the same day I received the letter. He said he would get back to me with a quote after pulling my credit. I answered all of the questions he asked about my qualifications. When I didn't hear back from him, I called the next morning XX/XX/2021, and was told he could not offer me that rate. I asked what he could offer, and he said he couldn't help me. However, rates have not gone up more than a quarter of a percentage point over the last three weeks, yet he said he couldn't give me anything close to what was advertised, despite the fact I have a perfect mortgage credit score, perfect debt to income ratio, and over 50 % equity in my primary residence. I asked why they would mail out a rate offer that they never intended to honor and he told me " Sorry I can't tell you why, I just can't help you. '' How is this legal? A 30 year fixed rate with an APR or 2.089 at 1.875 % hasn't been available ever.

This is NOT about me applying for a loan, this is about fraudulent practices. I received a mailer from EnTrust Funding, a mortgage company out of XXXX, AZ. When I called to ask to be removed from their mailing list, a representative named XXXX told me the VA sends these out and just uses their company as one of their businesses. Besides having a VA loan, I am an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I know an awful LOT about the VA and how to spot businesses who prey on veterans. I called back and spoke to a rep named XXXX and said his coworker was passing out fraudulent lies and advised him to make sure the manager or owner of the company knew it and enforced the truth out of their company. The company is : EnTrust XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, AZ XXXX XXXX

I started a refinance for my single family home with XXXX XXXX at EN Trust Funding out of XXXX AZ & paid {$750.00} out of my own pocket for the appraisal. I decided to go with a different lender & XXXX is refusing to transfer the appraisal to my new lender. XXXX also tried to get me to sign a loan document after I told him I was using a different lender by having someone in his office send me the DocuSign to sign for the refinance. I feel he was trying to trick me to sign with him because when I hit reply all his name came up he had XXXX copied himself. Because if I saw his name I would not have even opened the document to sign.
