XXXX XXXX with Empire Resolutions has called my ex-husband, his Mother, and his brother, when he has my phone numbers and I have spoken to him about my desire to pay the debt. His illegal calls were made after I tried to set up a payment, but the lawyer promising me to have my divorce settlement keeps promising a date for my money, then having a reason for pushing it back. I have been trying to get this divorce settlement for over a year and this is the reason that I could not pay the XXXX bill. The original bill amount was XXXX. I would happily set up to pay this amount. XXXX XXXX XXXX led me to believe that the amount he quoted me was the original debt amount, less fees and late charges. It turned out that it was the full amount with fees and finance charges. He threatened to take me to court if I did not agree to pay the full amount, which he said would easily cost me XXXX times the amount. When I called him back he said that they were not a debt collection agency but a pre-law company and that their lawyers said that the amount of the debt was low so they would not take off the fees. I believe he was lying to me and trying to threaten and scare me into agreeing to pay the full debt to his advantage. i am trying hard to pay my debts and do not plan to file bankruptcy. I am sick of all the collection agencies using these tactics to collect their fees. This man should lose his job.

A company called Empire Resolutions at XXXX keeps calling my home phone. They have called my home more than 4 times looking for a XXXX XXXX ( my ex-husbands first wife ). I have no communication with her and I have asked this company to take my phone number off their call list several times. The have an automated system that keeps calling my home. I actually spoke with someone twice and asked them to stop but they still continue to call. I know my rights under FDCPA and they are not allowed to robo-call nor are they allowed to call family members, friends or third parties more than once. THEY HAVE CALLED ME MORE THAN 4 TIMES IN A 4 DAY PERIOD. Please do something about this!!!

Called on, XXXX/XXXX/15 @ XXXX, to my home telephone number and numerous other times.
The voice message stated that they were calling as a courtesy to receive my statement in regards to a asset & liability search done on my phone number. To dispute the claim I needed to call their office back at XXXX. Failure to do so would document me a non-cooperative.
I have also received messages tied back to this number claiming that the IRS is suing me and that I need to call immediately.
I believe this is a violation of multiple sections of the FDCPA and I want this to stop. I 'd like to pursue any legal & financial compensation remedies allowed under the law.

XXXX XXXX called my son, who is in the military and was XXXX and told my son there was an urgent legal matter and that he needed to speak with me. Once my son confirmed that I was his mother XXXX then proceeded to tell that I needed to contact him.
Then XXXX gave the company name as empire recovery solutions @ XXXXI am not past due, have any outstanding debt or nothing delinquent for 7 years or more and believe this to be a scam.
I have received multiple calls, all hours, any day of the week from this number but I do n't know anyone in New York so I do not answer

The company calling themsleves Empire Solutions Group is using a tatic hereby spoofing their nubmer to show as a local number from my area code. The message they leave sstates to call back to XXXX but shows as coming from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
