XX/XX/18 ( XXXX PST ) - An unknown caller contacts me requesting to schedule a time to drop off legal/court documents. The caller would not provide his name, would not provide who he was representing. The caller provided a phone number ( XXXX ) XXXX.
XX/XX/18 ( XXXX PST ) - I contacted the number provided by the " server '', XXXX XXXX speaking very quickly indicated that I was being served court paperwork on a past debt. He informed me that he was not able to elaborate until he was able to speak to his legal team, at which point I was placed on a brief hold.
XXXX returned continued to resist identifying what the debt was in reference to and placed me on another brief hold and returned again. At which time he accused me of check fraud, at which time I asked him to clarify. This was quickly recanted. He indicated that I was going to be served with legal paperwork and that I was going to be sued. An additional request for information was prompted by me, he began to speak loudly and talk over me then hung up.
