Before I begin with the issues, I do want to make reference that the name that they have the debt under for me is my prior married name, XXXX XXXX, not XXXX XXXX. There are multiple issues with this debt collector. The first is that they are unwilling to provide me with verification and validation of the debt. The only documentation that they can provide is a letter from themselves stating the balance that I owe. I do not remember taking out the debt and they can not provide me with contact information for the company that they are attempting to collect he debt for so that I can validate that it is legitimate. They will not provide me with the date that the loan was originated so that I can verify that funds went into my bank and confirm who the loan was taking out with. They can not give me the original contract for the debt that I signed. They ca n't confirm anything. The second complaint, is that they call themselves a mediation firm and the collectors that answer the phone reference themselves as Inspectors as though they are part of law enforcement. Specifically XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX x XXXX. I have been receiving phone calls now since prior the middle of XXXX, where after I request documentation or to speak with someone higher up, they hang the phone up on me. I have been told that I am going to go to jail if I do not pay the debt owed. Since I am not complying, court paperwork has been filed and that I will be served paperwork to show up in court. They have told me over and over that since I did not take the offer provided and make good on the debt that I owe through our conversation that I was being pursued for Fraud and some sort of Money Evasion, I can not remember the legal term that they used. Third, they claimed that they traced the IP address that I took the loan from and were able to validate the home address where I took the loan from. However, they could not validate the date that the debt was originated. I do believe that tracking someone 's IP address down is illegal unless you are law enforcement. Fourth, I am being contacted by a process server company that is trying to obtain my personal information in order to serve me with paperwork. The same process server is calling my family claiming to be with CHILD SERVICES and they desperately need to get in touch with me in regards to my children and need my home address. Their tactics are fowl.

There is a company called MAC with phone # XXXX calling saying that I owe a debt from XXXX with an XXXX Loans. I have never taken out a loan with any company by this name. Furthermore, they are giving this information without even verifying who I am. They ask name only and then give me the last XXXX of my social. They are referencing a company I haven't worked for since XXXX and saying I took out the loan when I worked for them but yet stating I took out the loan in XXXX. The message left is threatening. Hello this message is intended for ______________ if this is you please press XXXX _______ ___________ my name is XXXX XXXX calling with payment processing the reason for my call today is to verify the address we have on file as we are preparing documentation to file in your case we have now made several attempts to reach you via mail and also XXXX phone calls which were unsuccessful you've now been flagged as evasive and noncompliant in order to avoid further penalties that are set to be filed against you we need to speak with you immediately today at XXXX again the phone number is XXXX so you can press one now thank you and good luck This was left on an initial call when no other calls have been made and no attempts in mailing me have been made. When I call, they hang up, yell at you, tell you you need to grow up and handle your debts, tell you to get over yourself, and specifically state they will continue to harass you if they want to even when told to stop calling. They are calling my family as well leaving threatening messages. This company needs to be stopped. The phone number they are calling from is a different number than they are asking to call. When I block the number, they start blocking their number and leaving the same robocall voicemail. The XXXX number is documented on XXXX by many people across the XXXX with the same actions being taken against them. Please take action. These people are trying to scam hard working Americans out of money.

I keep getting threatening calls regarding a debt from XXXX. They called my place of work and left a message on my phone saying they were going to garnish my wagers and take me to court if I did n't call them right away. The message was left for my manager but I actually got the message. They 've also been harassing my family members. I do n't know where they got my information from but I want them to stop harassing me. The name that was given on the message for me to contact was XXXX XXXX but when I called back and asked for this person they did n't exist. I was given a case number of XXXX. I asked what company they were and what this was about. I was told the company name was MAC and they were calling regarding a pay day loan debt that I owed. She said I owed {$450.00} to some company called XXXX XXXX from 2011. I explained to the lady that I never took out a pay day loan with this company. I ask what was the official name and address of the company and she would not give it to me. She just started yelling at me as to why I wo n't pay my debt. She wanted me to give her my social security number so that she could verify that this was my debt and when I would n't give it to her she just became more irate. I told her to take what ever action they felt necessary and I would deal with them in court. She hung up the phone on me. This company has been harassing me for a month now. Calling me from several different numbers. 30 minutes after that call I received a call from a XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding the same thing but now the pay day company name and the amount has changed. Total scammers.

Continue to receive two different threatening calls from two different companies who end being tied to the same scam company. This started a few weeks ago, they have my email addresses, full SSN, address, name everything on file. They call claiming I owe for a payday loan from XXXX, its going to litigation in a few days and I need to make a payment to stop legal proceedings. I never took a payday loan. Its actually illegal in XXXX. My phone number is on the do not call list yet I still get these calls. Someone needs to do something about this. The company " MAC '' has multiple people calling my phone constantly from all different phone numbers and area codes. The latest number is XXXX. They leave voicemails non stop about a payday loan that I may or may not have taken out in 2016. I'm not familiar with the company name they keep saying that I owe and they won't give me any more details except a huge amount I supposedly owe. Which if I did get a payday loan out the amount they are demanding is more than double almost triple the amount of any payday loan I have ever received. They are calling family members out of state and telling them information that would not even pertain to them and calling all hours of the day. They are threating arrest for a bad check that is incorrect because the acct is now closed so they are telling family members I have write bad checks, which is false. I have spoke to different individuals. Every time I call no matter what time I am told they are not at the phone or desk or on another call and that they will return call in 10 minutes. They do usually call back about 30 mins later. I have requested a validation report on the loan which I still have no received and have asked them to please stop calling my phone because I don't have the funds to pay for a extra debt at this time with. Was informed that I owe on a old payday loan. Was told their are XXXX actions pending against me.. They said I committed a a fraud by taking out such loan and not paying it back.. They claim the debt was from sometime back in XX/XX/XXXX and it was charged off in XXXX They informed me that they contacted my current employer.. But at the time I was not employed by them.. They also said the debt was sold to them, and I owed them now.. The mentioned my current bank but a old account number.. The also told me my old address.. When I asked them for their company name, their current address, on women told me the name of the company MAC and current location as in front of her desk?? I also pressed for the company that I orginally had the loan from, the account number, the companies ( whom I owed ) current address and contact information.. I was told that they could not and would not provide me with such information ... I was also informed a server would show up and serve me with papers to appear in court.. This company has called me every day for the last week I've called every day right after and explained to them that I am not the owner of the set in and not in contact with the owner of this debt. I've also explained to them my wishes to be removed from this list. This was confirmed every single day but the following day I was called again. Today I called and before I could even respond I was called a XXXX, a XXXX and the caller refused to give me their information so that I can report it here he stood on the call mocking me calling me XXXX and XXXX over and over. This behavior is unwarranted as I am not the responsible party for this owner I'm not in contact with the responsible party for this debt. I was confirmed each time I called that my number would be removed it has not happened I do not wish to be subjected to any kind of bullish behavior for it that I don't owe. I spoke to Miss XXXX yesterday She confirmed that my information was noted to be removed but not taken off She removed it yesterday but today I was contacted again and called a XXXX and a XXXX. I I explained to the young man that I was recording all of this as it was exceedingly unprofessional rude and a bit threatening. The collector has called me daily since XX/XX/21, leaving intimidating voicemails saying if I do not call them back, paperwork will be filed with the county. After not reaching me on the phone, they called my husband, who happens to be an XXXX. He attempted to verify that the debt is real. They provided bogus information, refused to provide any information regarding the particulars of the debt ( amount, date debt was occurred, etc. ), were abusive in their communication, and refused to provide contact information for him to send a letter or representation. They argued with my husband, stating he was not a real XXXX ( he very much is ), and continue to leave harassing phone messages with me, daily. In the messages, they do not identify any information other than they are calling from " MAC, '' they do not indicate they are attempting to collect a debt or anything else that debt collectors are required to do. The only information they provide is the company name of " MAC '' and a number, XXXX. They call from a VOIP number XXXX. I believe they are using outdated information from my credit that is well past the statute of limitations and manipulating that information to harass and scam me into giving them money.

I received a text and a call that I had 24 hours to respond to the phone call about my account ( very vague did not mention account name or type ) and left a number for me to call. I returned the phone call and it was third party called MAC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I called and let them know that the debt was included and discharged through Bankruptcy. The representative said that he didn't care, this wasn't about bankruptcy, this was about me writing bad check and that if I didn't pay they were going to prosecute me for writing a bad check. He then went on and told me I had 7 years to pay this debt and that if it wasn't paid in the next 24 hours he would file a complaint with the county court. After explaining to him that i was no longer liable for this debt because it was included and discharged through my Bankruptcy. He stated " I don't care, you need to learn how to pay your bills. '' and then hung up on me. I called back to try and explain the situation and every representative taunted and stated " pay your bills!! '' and proceeded to hang up. I keep receiving text and automated robotic phone calls stating I have 24 hours to resolve this issue and leaves the same number for me to call.

Received vague and seemingly threatening voicemail from a local area code. Unidentifiable company, generically named representative XXXX XXXX XXXX gruff voice, curt speech like an interrogation not a customer service agent ), attempted to use my mothers XXXX real ) name to bait me into calling back at a different XXXX number. Dont know how they got it, as she doesnt have any debt and I care for her in-home. That alone is despicable. Also claimed I was a person of interest which is cop lingo for wanted and I feel uncomfortable enough now that I need to report it. Based on the similarities of others online ( over 100 cases I saw for the same thing or similar, all listed XXXX XXXX XXXX, I did not return the call. I dont believe this to be legitimate. Me and my husband have received several call from XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX to try and collect at debt that I believe is false. When asking about the debt the info given was inaccurate. And when asked for their address and license number they refused to provided it. Stating that I didnt need that information. And was told that they would report it and mess up my credit and then when I repeated needing that info before we could move forward the guy on the phone kept trying to antagonize me by stating that Im just never going to pay this debt and that I can just keep avoiding it. Its fine they were extremely unprofessional and unwilling to help even with multiple phone calls back trying to get the info I requested. They could not tell me who the original debt was from. But said it was a loan, when I stated I have never taken a loan out in that amount they stated it wasnt a loan it was a transaction with my bank info. And when I brought up the statue of limitation on collections he said that this debt dose not fall under that category that it was like writing a bad check.

They called and said they are collecting for a debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX I advised I did not owe any debts with XXXX. I asked him for proof of the debt and avoided the subject and offered a settlement that was significantly lower then what he was collecting. I told him I would email back. I have had dealing with XXXX and I called them. They advised I had no outstanding debt with them. I gave them the date of the debt that was provided and they showed I had a loan with them 2 years after that. They also advised they would not have extended any offer of business with them with an outstanding debt. They advised me to request a validation of debt. I called them back and left 2 voicemails requesting a validation of debt. They stopped calling for almost 2 months. Then they started texting saying that I was ignoring them. Again I left another message requesting a validation of debt and they keep texting me saying I am being EVASIVE and they will FREEZE my accounts.

The gentleman, XXXX XXXX, who calls has done so numerous times regardless of blocking, speaking to him/them, and calling them back. I have called them back and asked for verification of debt. They could not provide that. The recordings and the communication from the " company '' are threatening. I have called back on " off hours '' and it rings nearly 20 times before rolling to an " old school '' answering machine. It is XXXX XXXX 's voice on the recording which is interesting if this is supposedly a company -- even their cover story has holes. He states it is " MAC ''. Which may be this company? The number and XXXX have been reported to CFPB. https : XXXX The voice message claims a debt and threatens with legal action, arrest, etc. When speaking to them they claimed information from well over a decade ago that was actually paid and was from an account that was closed YEARS ago from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have been receiving phone calls from a debt collector telling me that I am going to be to served at work and possibly taken to jail. When I call the number given, I get connected to very rude " employees '' with vague information. All they can tell me is that I got a payday loan in 2009 for {$400.00} that was never paid back. They claim the loan has grown to {$800.00}, but they can accept a lower payment over the phone and this will all go away. I asked them to identify themselves and all they can tell me is their company name, MAC ... ( 1 ) I would never apply for a payday loan ( 2 ) I would never give my credit card number to some random person that called me on the phone. This person had my social security number and an old address, but no recent information. The only way they got my phone number was by contacting my brother. I've been called off and on since XXXX with the same story, and reported it every time. I'm told I opened a payday loan in ( constantly changing date ) for ( constantly changing amount ) and told it will go to court. The first call I receive always states that they've tried to contact me several times-but it's always a new company, or claims it is. I never opened this account, the debt is not mine. I informed them of that fact and asked them to cease contacting me, or send me the information so I can add it to my police report if the report is still active. I received neither, simply more harassing calls claiming to be from two different companies for the same debt. Several times I've been given my own social security number over the phone which is both illegal and makes me very uncomfortable as my SSN has been in the wind since XXXX when it was stolen at my dorm.

I have received several phone calls via a robo dialer to my cell phone since the beginning of XXXX from a company called MAC from several different phone numbers. One representative, who called at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021, stated his name was XXXX XXXX on voicemail and said that if I do not respond then " they will turn my case over to the county where is reside. '' He is not the only one that has left me these types of voicemails. I also received a call from someone named XXXX saying the same thing on XX/XX/2021. The number I was told to contact them at is XXXX. Not only is this threatening, this is also pre texting ... they are using scare tactics to force a debt to be payed, and I insist that actions get taken against this debt collector, so they won't use these illegal tactics against someone else. I have saved all voicemails if they are needed.

On or about XXXX/XXXX/2015, I received a voice mail from XXXX ; they were looking for a party other than myself. I promptly contacted the number, inquired about the company ( MAC ) and informed the representative that I would very much appreciate if their company made no further attempts to contact me, and to do so would be considered as a violation of my right to privacy. On or about XXXX/XXXX/2015, I received another call from the same number. I repeated the steps taken in the first call. On or about XXXX/XXXX/2015, I received several calls from an " unknown '' number. Contacted XXXX ; was informed that they had in fact called and would continue to call. So, I continued to call them. After s-e-v-e-r-a-l calls, I began being threatened with law enforcement, litigation, and was even threatened with calls at XXXX XXXX.

MAC also known as Mediation Account Center continues to call and harass me daily. They are calling over a debt that I do not believe I ever took out and it approximately 10-15 years old, well past the Statute of Limitations for debt collection. Numerous agents have threatened me and have called family members. They threaten me with jail time and other repercussions, despite refusing to validate the debt. They threaten me with a summons to go to court, which they refuse to send. They called me numerous insults like liar, deadbeat, and loser. They also gave out my full social security number and date of birth over they phone. They continue to robocall daily from new numbers, the most recent numbers being ( XXXX ) XXXX and ( XXXX ) XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX, and ( XXXX ) XXXX They also refuse to honor my do not call requests.

Recieved a text message from - XXXX with the following message : " XXXX XXXX We have an urgent matter in our office that directly concerns you. In order to help we must speak with you today at XXXX. XXXX '' Called the number. They claim to be a debt collection agency working on behalf of " XXXX '' that claims I owe them a debt from 2015. They have my address, social security number, name and employment history. They claimed the company had attempted to communicate with me before, which I have recieved no such communication. Answering rep claimed they were filling for wage garnishment and a hold on my drivers license, whatever that is. I asked for written evidence of the debt. They claimed the company was " done jumping through hoops '' and were going to proceed with legal charges. I refused and ended the call.

I am being harassed by people who claim to represent company called MAC. I think that they are a payday loan company but I am not certain. At any rate, any payday " debt '' I had was settled long ago ... probably in excess of 10 years. and recently, I have received numerous repeated calls claiming " time sensitive '' information that MUST be responded to asap before serious legal proceedings begin, etc etc. The calls have come daily for the last 2 weeks. I told them not to bother me any longer or I would report them for harassment, at which time I was insulted and threatened further. Mr. XXXX at MAC, altho the name is likely fake. The calls emanate from XXXX and I am asked to return the calls at XXXX.

Received a call from XXXX stating they are sending legal papers to my home over a debt, they called my work also. I called them back and they have a lot of information of mine, they told me I received a payday loan from MAC Development. I have never heard of this company and have never received anything from them. I told them to deliver the legal papers. The debt is {$390.00}. This is not mine. Said I had been evading them and the prosecutor was tired of it. Contacted my local prosecuting attorney and found out it was all false. Also I never had a checking account until XXXX. There is XXXX chance they have an actual debt. Contacted a lawyer to start filing a lawsuit against them.

This company is contacting my husband and his relatives, using my maiden name. Not quite sure how or where they got my information or their information to begin with, but they are going by the company name MAC. Me and my husband recently bought a house using a VA loan and i am the veteran, so I had to clear up all my debts. Not sure who this company is or why they are contacting people outside of my family. They are asking them for references.

Person called a relative phone number Ive never been contacted or received notification in the mail about this debt. Received several of the court-threatening calls. Today, I got a vm from XXXX XXXX, this time with the 'I was listed as person of interest for ( random person 's name ) ' scam mentioned earlier. Tell you to Call back from a different number, but had the XXXX for callback.

XXXX XXXX is harassing me and my children by continuously calling our cell phones claiming that I owe a loan to XXXX. I told him I do not owe a loan and he then read out my ssn #. I asked if he had my address so that I could respond in writing but he ignored me and told me that I was rude. I told him that I was recording the call with an app on my cell phone and to not call me anymore.

XXXX XXXX with MAC credit collection agency says he is collecting on a debt from 2013- which was paid off. He is contacting EVERY one of my family members and calling me and them EVERYDAY. The only thing that the company wants is my banking information and social security number. They refuse to provide any information regarding the debt without my confirming my social security and address. This is highly irregular as there are no outstanding debts on my credit report, and they will not provide any written documentation regarding the alleged debt.

They asked for a person that is not me. They have called repeatedly asking for someone that is not me. Despite me saying I am not that person and telling them to stop calling or I will file an official complaint, they continued to call. This is a scam trying to say I took a loan out and they have my social security number I have never taken a loan out before. They also stated they will hunt me and my family down which is a threat to me and my family. This company needs to be closed no one should ever be allowed to be making threats.
