On XX/XX/XXXX, I went to XXXX XXXX in XXXX AZ to test drive a XXXX XXXX that had been listed for $ XXXX I had a trade in that was worth XXXX. I agreed to take XXXX for the trade in. I did have XXXX left to pay on that vehicle. The deal that I agreed to was to pay XXXX per month. There was no mention of interest rate or term in this discussion. I expected there to be add ons and extras. When I got to the finance part of the deal, I was told that I should get the service package for {$4000.00} witch I thought was odd due to the exact amount being XXXX. I decided to get what I thought was an extended warranty at the time. I put down XXXX of my own money to Keep my payments at a payable rate. I work for a school district, and I make about XXXX annually. My budget was nothing more than XXXX. The deal that I signed off on was for XXXX. As I am signing the documents, I waited for the document that would give me the breakdown for all the payments and the finance fee and the total of payments. I never saw that document. When I returned home with the documents that were given to me, I realized that the document that I was waiting for was signed and it was not the deal that I had agreed to. To my surprise the deal had completely changed without my knowledge, and I had been lied to about certain parts of the deal. I was told that the oil changes were a part of the extended warranty, but they were not. It was XXXX. And the price of the car had jumped from XXXX all the way to XXXX. The car is only worth XXXX. I will admit I should have done a bit more research, but I still dont deserve to be lied to and to now be thousands of dollars upside down in a vehicle that I thought I bought in good faith. I should have also done my research on the dealership which has multiple complaints from people with the same story as mine. Some of the stories are worse than mine. I dont understand how a bank could approve a loan like this if I make less annually than what they are charging me for the car. I have gone back to the dealership to ask for the contract to be corrected but to no avail that has not happened. I have reached out to the XXXX as well as the finance manager that did the deal and I have gotten no response from either. This isnt right and I refuse to be a victim of predatory lending when I just cleaned my credit up. If this happens to so many people, there must be something that can be done. 1 month later a letter comes from Driveway finance telling me that the price of the car has changed again as well as my interest rate. From XXXX. Im wondering why I wasnt notified and that is once again not the deal I signed off on. If I were to plug my numbers into any of the loan calculators, I am paying more per month for 84 months for a car thats not even worth it. And the term was never even discussed. I also specifically requested that my credit only be ran one time. As I would find out later it was run at least 5 times. And they were all hard pulls. My credit score at the time was XXXX. The average rate for my score is XXXX. Is the fact that Im an XXXXXXXX XXXX woman the issue or do they do this to everyone? I have sent emails to cancel the service agreement and I have received no response. I dont even have my tags yet and the temporary tag is about to expire. I didnt get XXXX XXXX on the car, but the car had been in a collision. This was probably the shadiest deal so far of my life. What I would like to see happen is a renegotiation of my contract. Give me the chance to say yes or no to the new deal. I would probably say no so I would expect my car and the {$2000.00} that I put down to be returned to me. If they sold my car without an approval from the bank that would be illegal. I have also asked Driveway financing to provide the documents of my loan but have received no response. On XX/XX/XXXX I called to get a status update on the service agreement, and it had never even been submitted. The same goes for oil change service that was {$500.00}. If they had Cancelled it, I didnt get any confirmation at all. Also, Driveway finance sent a letter saying that the balance was XXXX. If the service agreement was XXXX then the bill would have been XXXX. Upon asking for the cancellation, my interest rate changed, and the price of the car has yet again changed. The extra {$1000.00} that I put down was for the service agreement. If that was cancelled that should have brought my payments lower by {$15.00}. Alas it did not. I just want a fair deal, but it seems as though I am not being allowed to negotiate my own terms and thats a problem.

I have purchased XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX back on XX/XX/XXXX. During my purchase I was misled into purchasing the add ons I didn't need and stated so during the purchase. However, I didn't realize that they were added to the total vehicle 's price up until I got my first bill a month later. XXXX XXXX was the one to sell me those add ons and to mislead me by saying I'm only paying a small amount each month and not providing me the final amount or itemized receipt at the end of the transaction, which would list thousands of dollars that I was taking in loans in addition to the car price. When I received my first bill I noticed my total owed was very large, so I contacted XXXX XXXX asking why was I being charged all this money, as he gave me his number and told me to call if I had any questions. However, XXXX would not answer any questions. He was very rude, insulting me and refused to talk to me. I ended up going to the dealership in person and asking to speak to someone because even though being present there XXXX would not acknowledge me and even though he did not have anyone at his office, he said was very busy. I ended up speaking to XXXX XXXX - sales representative, at the office right next door to XXXX 's. I told XXXX that I would like to cancel the add ons as I had no idea about the total amount I was actually paying. XXXX asked XXXX to cancel them. XXXX said he couldn't as his computer system was down. After which XXXX told me to write them an email and include the owner of the dealership XXXX XXXX on it. I did write the email to all three of them asking to cancel my add ons and describing what happened, to which I received 3 emails from XXXX accusing me of bothering him and demanding to tell him who referred me. After not receiving any help from the dealership, I found customer service numbers for the companies I had the add on contracts with and had to call and email them asking to cancel my add ons. A few days later I received confirmation that my add on contracts were canceled. I'm attaching the proof of this to this email. XXXX XXXX & I told me that they have also contacted XXXX XXXX in the beginning of XXXX last year informing them that they have cancelled their contract add ons with me. My loan has been placed with Driveway Finance Corporation. I have called them multiple times asking if they have received the refund checks from the dealership and adjusted my balance. In the beginning Driveway Finance Corporation was telling me to wait for 6 - 8 weeks noting that they could still see the add ons on my account. However, when I called at the end of the wait time period they said there was no record of my cancelled add ons at all and they can only see 2 active add ons ( out of 5 original ) as of that moment. However, my balance hasn't been reduced/readjusted at all. Please see the proof of my cancellations attached. As of now, I'm still paying for the add on contracts I don't have and the interest is still being added based on the total higher price as well. In addition XXXX XXXX XXXX and Driveway Finance Corporation are under the same company umbrella - XXXX. Nevertheless, there is a huge lack of communication regarding the refund of the money for the cancelled add ons.

* Driveway Finance Corporation under Lithia Motors will not provide me with a receipt of all payments that is legible so my numbers are approximate, but are correct as was confirmed by one of their own representatives on my third call to them about this issue. Driveway Finance Corporation ( DFC ) has currently stolen {$500.00} dollars from me by refusing to properly allocate my payment of {$830.00} on XXXX XXXX to the principal as is my right by law in New York state. Before the payment on XXXX XXXX my principal was approximately {$7800.00}. When paying more than the amount online, the balance is automatically applied towards a reduction of the next upcoming bills. I called DFC on XX/XX/XXXX and asked for my payment to be applied in full towards my principal, as I have done many times before. I called back on Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX when I saw that nothing on my account had changed and the payment was still being used to lower my principal by {$330.00}, pay off the XX/XX/XXXX payment ( of {$330.00} ) and partiall reduce the XX/XX/XXXX payment to around {$140.00}. So instead of {$830.00} being directly applied to my principal, {$330.00} dollars was applied to my principal and the remaining {$500.00} was applied to the upcoming payments leaving me with a principal balance of {$7400.00}. I was fraudulently told my a service rep on XX/XX/XXXX that this was normal and how the process had always worked, but that they would make sure the money was no longer applied towards my upcoming payments and put towards my principal. I asked to be sent a complete receipt of payment with the new principal amount after each payment. They sent me a pdf of an XXXX file that had unexpanded columns, rendering the whole file illegible. The next day, on XXXX XXXX I called back again after seeing no change in my account and spoke with one of the same reps and was confirmed that something in the system was wrong and this would be escalated. I was put on hold and then hung up on. I called back an hour later and was told by another rep that this was all correct and the way the system was supposed to work and that even if they made sure the money was not applied towards my upcoming payments the amount of my principal would not change. He would not do the math when I asked him to. As of XXXX XXXX I have checked my account to find that they fraudulently stole the money applied to my upcoming payments ( {$500.00} ) without applying that money towards my principal. So my principal currently stands at {$7400.00} and I also have an upcoming payment for a full XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. They have not lowered my principal and have been charging me interest on the {$7400.00} principal instead of the {$6900.00} principal that it is supposed to be. They have stolen {$500.00} from me and are charging me interest on a higher principal as well.

On XX/XX/2023 we traded in our XXXX XXXX that was financed with Driveway Finance. On that day I logged into my online account with Driveway Finance and provided the dealership with the payout amount. Our next payment was due on XX/XX/2023. On XX/XX/2023, Driveway Finance deducted {$360.00} from my account. When I noticed and logged online, my " auto-pay '' was turned off. I called Driveway and I was told that the new bank ( XXXX ) did not pay the total amount and I was charged with the difference which included a late fee for the XX/XX/XXXX payment, a returned check for the XX/XX/XXXX payment, and a late fee for the supposed XXXX payment that I was not even aware. The representative informed me that XXXX sent a payment of {$33000.00} and the total payout was {$33000.00}. The XX/XX/XXXX late fee was {$31.00}, the return fee {$25.00} and the XXXX late fee was {$39.00}. The numbers simply don't match. So I asked the representative to provide me with a statement with a complete history of payments, dates and loan information. She informed me that she would need my personal email because the email on file is my work email and per policy they can not send to a work email or business. I questioned the reason because I used my work email to create the account online and have received emails from Driveway Finance in the past. My complaints are the following : XXXX Lack of information available to consumer. The portal where we access the account does not show payment history, fees or any other essential information related to the original loan. XXXX Lack of communication. I have not been emailed or received a letter notifying me that I still owed them money. XXXX Unauthorized charge. My account auto-pay was turned off and yet I was deducted money. XXXX Lack of transparency with consumer related to information request. If a work email or business email can be used to open an online access, therefore the same email should be used to receive documents related to the account.

I received an auto loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX finance XX/XX/XXXX. I had issues with billing and arrangements ending in a repossession. In XXXX a new company Lithia/driveway finance '' began reporting an auto loan on my credit. I have had XXXX on three occasions challenge the debt as I've never done business with this company. All disputes come back reported as valid. So, I called and sent a couple of letters requesting proof of debt and if in collections when and how record was obtained. I was ignored throughout XXXX. In the third week of XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a certified letter for verification of debt, proof of debt purchase, proof of business or account letters to " Lithia/Driveway Finance ''. I received no response. So, in last week of XXXX and 30 days after verification of certified mail received, I contacted " Lithia/Driveway Finance '' by phone. After many transfers and excessive rudeness, I lastly spoke with accounts manager " XXXX ''. He explained to me that the letters were received and that they were listed in his system as " frivolous ''. Not only did the receive department list as this, but that I was not going to receive a response. I ask again for proof of any document with them for a debt & they refuse to provide. I asked about my original finance company & was told they no longer in existence. I've tried for 2 years to get this debt removed or verified. My attempts have failed. I am spoken to like an XXXX. Please help.

I am writing to express my deep concern about the current situation regarding my purchase of a XXXX XXXX account # XXXX from XXXX. I have been receiving statements for missed payments, despite not having received the car or the title. I purchased a car from your dealership, and at the time of purchase, I was informed that the car would be delivered to me within a few days. However, it has been several months, and I have yet to receive the car or any information about the status of the delivery. Additionally, I have not received the title for the car, which is necessary for me to register it and legally drive it. Without the title, I can not legally take possession of the car, and I am concerned that I will be held responsible for any damage or accidents that occur involving the car, despite not actually having possession of it. I have tried to reach out to your dealership multiple times to resolve this issue, but I have not received any response or assistance. As a result, I have been left in a difficult position, with statements for missed payments but no car or title. I checked my contract and called the company over a month ago to check on the process of finalising the loan and obtaining a title agreement and was told that once I paid I would receive my lien release and title in the post. There was no mention of a delay in the time it would take for this to happen. I called last week and a customer service representative told me that it would take 8 to 10 weeks for XXXX to process my title. I called back and was told the process could take 4 to 6 weeks. The representatives were rude and at that time I was told I would receive no notification or confirmation of paying this off. I paid off the loan on Monday XXXX XXXX. The customer service representative then told me that Driveway finance corp take 21 days to release the lien to XXXX to ensure that they have actually received the funds. I have spoken with two representatives and they themselves are confused as to why the lien is not being released immediately on the electronic lien release system that is required by law in Pennsylvania. I have asked for something in writing as this is not in my contract and isnt online. I would like my lien release as I have paid for the car in full and need to sell it. The emails have been ignored.

But my credit report there's a company called driveway it is listed with all three companies account number XXXX. The XXXX type on the account is showing auto financing for XXXX and XXXX and finance/personal for XXXX none of the three are correct and it should be as credit sales. The contract will sign in the dealership and let me add that the balances are incorrect. Shows how balance of {$8400.00} and also a balance owed of {$3400.00}. The account is listed as closed and collection / charge off with an owed amount that is incorrect as well. The vehicle was repossessed and auctioned however gap insurance was a part of agreement. If the finance company filed the gap insurance the balances are incorrect. I have sent validation letters to the bureaus get no validation letter has been delivered to me as requested. They ignored me and finally responded after my return window had expired. It is now XX/XX/2022. My car is still not registered. Ive emailed, talked with their escalation team, and my state attorney general. Theyve sent several POAs and Ive sent them back. Each time I call for an update they cant give me an answer. They tell me if I get pulled over to show proof of purchase which doesnt even look legit. I was pulled over XXXX because my temp tags have been expired since XX/XX/2022. The temp tags were only good for 10 days. I have stopped paying on the loan since I can not XXXX XXXX the car legally. Its sickening that I bought this vehicle and cant even drive it!!! I have no transportation due to this company!

On XXXX XXXX, I settled and paid XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$5400.00} to the creditors Driveway financial. XX/XX/XXXX, the account was closed per conversation with XXXX XXXX XXXX. on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX i spoke with driveway financial to discuss inaccuracies of this account being reported on my credit report. Driveway acknowledges that it was inaccurate, however, they are not willing to delete the information as promised. They sold the car that was repossed and did not enclose the amount the car was sold for, for me to pay the difference. instead they refused to provide the information of how much the car was sold for. With this company is so much inaccurate information and false information, I need them deleted off my credit report.

I was recently able to locate a defaulted debt on my credit reports that was originally with XXXX XXXX, but is now with Driveway Financial. As soon as I found out there was a balance on this debt, I started issuing {XXXX} payments to Driveway Financial in good faith, however, I feel this account should have Charged off on or around XX/XX/2017, or after 120 days of delinquency, the account should have been status-ed as Charged-off. Instead Driveway Financial has been reporting 180-day lates for several years. In order for me to continue to make these payments in good faith, I demand that Driveway update the 24-month delinquency history to reflect the accounts status as charged-off in beginning in XX/XX/2017.

On XXXX i signed documents for a car loan XXXX XXXX with driveway finance for a XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX to be delivered from driveway.com. Driveway financed has verified this loan is open and it's present on my credit file at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX When I tried to set up delivery with driveway.com they are saying that the loan is not in their system. I contacted them almost 2 weeks ago and was only able to Speak to a guy named XXXX at Driveway.com that said he would look into it. Extra principal payments were not applied correctly. Charging daily interest rate based on a 360/360 interest loan. We were told by finance that it was a simple annual loan. Daily interest rate is fluctuating daily even after paying {$200.00} extra every month since we established the loan ( 18 months ) interest should good down since the loan principal goes down, but it does not, it fluctuates daily. XX/XX/2022 a payment of XXXX was made after company purposely made late fees come in hand. After company withdrew and confirmed payment weeks later the payment came up as invalid and still not returning the money after had already taken it. Looked on online for reviews of Company Driveway Finance and seems like theyre known to scam their customers. Along with taking your money and causing late fees to occur on purpose, the customer service dont know what theyre doing and lie about errors, payment refund and late fees being deducted.

I recently bought a car through Driveway on XX/XX/2023. However, on XX/XX/2023 received a letter from driveway finance stating they are offering new terms from the recent purchase and i only need to contact them within 10 days of the letter date XX/XX/2023 to accept the new offer. I called driveway finance to accept the offer but they will not update my account with the new terms. The payment is {$20.00} lower per month at the same term length of 72 month. I recently made a {$1300.00} payment to cure the late fees and get back on track, but for some reason, I can not get an answer as to why the additional principal payment is not being applied to the late charges.
