I received notice that I have a collection account on my XXXX Credit Report. I was never notified prior to this account being added on my credit report also I don't know anything about this account. Please remove this account immediately. Request for VALIDATION, NOT Verification XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, IL XXXX XX/XX/2018 Douglas Chancellor Meyers XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX , XXXX XXXX, MO XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX RE : Unknown Account On XXXX Credit Report To Whom It May Concern : This letter is being sent to you in response to notices sent to me from your company and more importantly, due to your erroneous reporting to the Credit Bureau { s }, the highly negative impact on my personal credit report. Please be advised that this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice sent pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 { b } that your claim is disputed and validation is requested. This is NOT a request for verification or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above-named Title and Section. I respectfully request that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. Please provide me with the following : What the money you say I owe is for : Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe : Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe : Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable : Identify the original creditor : Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account : Show me the you are licensed to collect in my state : Provide me with your license numbers and Registered Agent or Agent of Service : At this time I will also inform you that if your offices have reported invalidated information to any of the 3 major Credit Bureaus { XXXX, XXXX or XXXX XXXX } this action might constitute fraud under both Federal and State Laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found on any of my credit reports by your company or the company that you represent, I will not hesitate to bring legal action against you for the following : Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Defamation of Character If your offices are able to provide proper documentation as requested in the following Declaration, I will require at least 30 days to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease and desist. Also, during this validation period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with my legal counsel for suit. This includes listing any information with a credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated or verifying an account as accurate, when in fact there is no provided proof that it is accurate. If your company fails to respond to this validation request within 30 days from the date of your receipt, all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit report and a copy of such deletion { to any/all of the 3 major credit reporting bureaus : XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX } request shall be sent to me immediately. I would also like to request, in writing, that no telephone contact be made by your company to my home or my place of employment. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls and calls or correspondence sent to or with any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. After receiving notification from my credit montoring service that as XX/XX/18 a collection account was place on my credit report in the amount of {$4000.00} with Douglas Chancellor and Meyer Associates ; opened XX/XX/2018 ; which is false. I contacted XXXX by phone and filed a dispute. I also called XXXX XXXX XXXX corporate office to investigate the collection. I spoke to XXXX would stated that there wasn't anything on file or in their system with my name on it, and to call back on the following day and speak to a supervisor that maybe able to assist me. I did so and was told to contact the collection agency listed on my credit report. In XX/XX/XXXX I filed a XXXX XXXX which I had a loan with one of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) ; which was included in my XXXX XXXX. I have not tried to make contact with this company in years. In checking my credit report I also noticed that an inquiry was made on XX/XX/17 which again I did not intitate and I never received any other loan from them. Douglas Chancellor and Meyers Associates has never sent me any correspondence or oral communication concerning this matter. Since placing this collection on my credit report not only have I been denied loans, credit, and a mortgage, but has caused my credit score to drop. It has yet to be removed from my credit report at this time.

Around XX/XX/XXXX, I started receiving phone calls from Douglas Chancellor Meyers & Associates stating they were a debt collection agency and I owed {$29.00} for something. I hung up on them a few times over several days because I had no outstanding debts and considered it a scam. I received a letter on XX/XX/XXXX stating it was for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Again, I thought it was a scam because I never received a bill from the principal. The last time I saw XXXX XXXX was on XX/XX/XXXX for a consultation. I was billed {$220.00} for that office visit in XX/XX/XXXX, and mailed the balance due to them that month. All of this could have been avoided if XXXX XXXX would have billed me directly first instead of giving it to a debt collector. I have informed the operator at Douglas Chancellor Meyers & Associates twice in the last 2 weeks that I have paid the bill and to stop calling me. They continue calling, 1 to 3 times a day with a recording. The last call was today ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I pushed the " 0 '' option to talk to someone again, did not work. I attached the 2 letters I sent out to both parties. I can send the letter Douglas Chancellor Meyers & Associates sent me if needed - have to get it scanned somewhere first.

In XXXX I took out two payday loans with XXXX Loans. At some point I defaulted on the loans and XXXX garnished my wages to fulfill the remaining balance of the loans. I received my original contracts back from XXXX stamped paid in full. On XX/XX/XXXX Douglas Chancellor Meyers, a debt collection company, listed a new item on my credit report for {$140.00} with the original creditor listed as XXXX loans. I called XXXX and they stated that all of my loans were paid in full and I needed to contact Douglas Chancellor Meyers to have the item removed. As of XX/XX/XXXX, I have never received a phone call or letter notifying me of this debt or my ability to dispute it. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a certified letter to Douglas Chancellor Meyers disputing this debt, and requesting proof of the debt owed. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, I have not received an acknowledgement of receipt of the letter, nor the documentation requested. Meanwhile the debt is continuing to be reported to the credit bureau with the last reporting on XX/XX/XXXX. This is lowering my credit score, and for a debt I do not owe.

I was contacted from a no caller I.D, left a voicemail that I need to call ( XXXX ) XXXX in regards to case # XXXX and that I have been warned. When I googled the phone number there was multiple reports that it was a scam. When I called they wouldnt tell me who they were calling on behalf of or what I owed on my so-called debt. The gentleman that I talking to wouldnt tell me his name and said I should be ashamed of myself for not paying my debt and that I should be familiar with this process since Ive been summoned to court for not paying my debt. Then he hung up on me. When I called back I said yes, I was rudely hung up on and he immediately went off on me saying that I was rude then told me what my social security number is and that he had my credit report pulled up in front of him without me saying who I was and verifying who he was speaking to before giving out sensitive information. Then he told me that I was going to be arrested and he is going to issue a warrant for my arrest and that they will find me at work tomorrow.

Douglas Chancellor Meyer entered information on the XXXX Credit Bereau with fradulent and falsified information. The date of orginal diliquency was noted as XX/XX/2018. The original loan was from XXXX. The loan went diliquent more than 7 years ago. XXXX XXXX is attempting to re-age the loan in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. No notice of dispute was furnished to me. I contacted XXXX in XX/XX/2018 to dispute the information, also on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/2018.

Douglas Meyer reported an account that was opened in XXXX on my credit. The account is reaged and shouldnt be on my credit. I disputed this with XXXX 3 times and they keep insisting that the information is accurate. They investigated but no feedback was given back to me. I filed a complaint with CFBP and Douglas Chancellor Meyer said he had until XXXX of XXXX to remove it. This has not been done.

On XX/XX/2018 I received an email from XXXX XXXX stating an account was added to my credit report in collections by Douglas Chancellor Meyer for the amount of {$520.00} and the open date is XX/XX/2018. The original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX is not even on my credit report. I have not applied for any loans in years nor is there a hard inquiry for the loan.
