-Started process XX/XX/2023 to refinance a property I own and wanted to change companies of the hard money loan I already have. I told the agents, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX of Doss Home Loans , LLC, that this needed to be done quickly because of the charges I occur from the latter company monthly and I couldnt afford to drag this out over 30days. I was assured they would get this done in that time period as to not cause me more interest and finance charges. This is not what occurred. It is now XXXX XXXX, XXXX and we still havent gone to closing. Also, some other actions were taken by Doss Home Loans agents that I believe werent needed or up to normal required or legal practices ; which include making us change the property deed out of my business name to my minority partners name without permission from the original lender, which I believe may be a requirement. I never wanted to do this is the first place but they said it had to be done. We were also asked to get several documents notarized that were already legal and filed with the state of Texas ( discriminatory ), these documents do not need to be notarized. This refinance loan was for DCSR for my business rental property. Because of this companys failure to complete this refinance weve lost thousands in potential rental income, its negatively affected my credit score, and weve incurred XXXX in additional mortgage costs & taxes. This has been very stressful and a hardship for me and my business.
