This is a long story. I was called by a collector called Dominus Law Recovery LLC. on XX/XX/XXXX. The lady stated that they are collecting a payday loan to XXXX XXXX. That I owe {$830.00}. I set up payment arrangement to have them draw on my bank card. They said they had to have that number. They were to draw the money out on XX/XX/XXXX. Other wise they threaten to issue a warrant, that they had my name and ssn # and the would have the sheriff or the police come to my house or my work. They assured my that they would email the copy of the arrangement to me. Well I never got an email and I called their XXXX number about 6 times in the next two weeks. No one answered just voice saying leave you name, number and file. Well I did as they asked except I told them they havent given me a file number. Still heard nothing. OnXX/XX/XXXX I called my bank and had them block my card and issue me a new one. I also called XXXX XXXX, they said its a scam. However I do have an outstanding loan to them of {$350.00}. Taken out in XX/XX/XXXX. Not {$830.00}. They told me they never use a law firm to collect. Told me to contact consumer protection and they had me talk to there Fraud Dept. After XX/XX/XXXX passed the lady from Dominus Law called again and left voice mail saying we need to get this pymt in, She knew I had tried to call her and she had been away from the ofc because son was in the hospital. They needed to send me an invoice and I could pay on the invoice. Then she said I did send that email ( no she did not ). I started blocking all unknown numbers. Then yesterday I got another voice mail from Dominus Law from a XXXX XXXX or XXXX, she said the were investigating my name with my ssn and again threaten to issue a warrant for my arrest at my home or place of business. She said if I had any questions to call the XXXX number listed above and gave me a file number XXXX. Then they proceeded to call me back every 10 minutes for the next two hours. I was at work and it completely distracted me. The numbers they call on have an IA area code ( XXXX ). My cell phone has XXXX area code as I lived in IA and that is were the payday loan was taken out in XX/XX/XXXX. I called back to XXXX XXXX, today to give them updated info. I said I was willing to pay the bill but not {$500.00} more the org loan. She said this a scam going on with payday loans. She assured me that they cant do what they threatened to do. She advised me to file a complaint with consumer protection, which I had so then I called them to update. She also advised me to call the IA state attorney general I have done that too. Then she advised me to file a complaint with you which I am doing now. She also offered to try to get my loan back in house so I could pay what I owe directly to them and I accepted that offer. Later this afternoon I recieve another threatening voice mail again from Dominus Law. IA Attorney General has told me not to answer these calls and to delete them. But before I delete I will write them all down in case they are needed. I think this all the information I have on these harassing calls. Thank-you for your assistance in this matter.

I have been contacted multiple times now by different debt collectors from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I do not know what XXXX XXXX XXXX is nor do I ever recall getting a loan. They threatened to have me arrested if I didnt pay the {$600.00} in 24 hours. They would not provide me with any information regarding where the loan originated or and documentation of any kind validating the debt. I have no problem paying me bills but if I cant be provided proof I owe anything, Im not going to give my card or bank information. They said they were from The XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX FL. I looked them up and it says nothing about debt collection.
