On XX/XX/XXXX I was referred to XXXX XXXX regarding a loan to purchase a home. I was told to send over all XXXX tax returns, Social Security Cards, DL, marriage license and bank statements. It took XXXX over two weeks to get me a pre-approval as her exact words were she submitted the documents to underwriting first. First pre-approval was recieved and approved for XXXX, conventional loan. Then the landlord and I was working on other things and he decided to change the price and said he will only sell for XXXX. I brought the issue to XXXX and asked her what is the highest loan amount can i get approved for. XXXX replied in 2 weeks time XXXX. I came back to XXXX to state that is too high i need something a little bit smaller than that so we agreed on XXXX. I found a property XXXX XXXX XXXX and had an inspection done, the inspection failed horribly so I pulled out of the contract and decided not to continue with that property. Three weeks had passed and I was told by my landlord since I am not purchasing his home anymore I need to move so he may sell the property. I raised concern to XXXX XXXX and XXXX. XXXX XXXX responded with " Your homework this weekend is to find a home and get under contract '' On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX ( My Realtor ) reached out to XXXX via phone asking when was the soonest date we can close. XXXX response was XX/XX/XXXX. We submitted an offer to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with XXXX escrow. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX texted me saying now that closing for XX/XX/XXXX is not possible, the state appraiser is not available for two weeks. She wanted us to change the date to XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted my realtor who contacted the seller who stated she will not give us an extension either we close the XX/XX/XXXX or she will sell the property to someone else! XXXX contacted XXXX and informed XXXX of the sellers comment and XXXX was shocked when XXXX told him XXXX approved closing for XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX stated he will try to get it done that would mean everyone would have to work overtime. But he will use his 27 years of experience to make it work. I called the office everyday to follow up as now my time here in the rental was being pushed away due to selling the property and i needed answers. XXXX answers the phone stating " XXXX stop calling everyday, we cant work on your file if we are on the phone with you '' I stated XXXX I want to make sure everything is good to go, He said he looked over my file and is confident everything is good! They took payment for an Appraisal, I had an inspection done, XXXX told me I needed a WDO report. I was emailed on Wednesday from XXXX at XXXX XXXX stating they couldnt get in contact with my past employers and if I have another way to contact them let her know so they can speed the process faster and close on the XXXX. I contacted all past employers and got notification from four employers they are waiting by the email and phone to have them send a verrfication as soon as possible back. XXXX called my that evening at night time with XXXX on the line ( Speaker ) stating I need to get those verifications in by tomorrow Thursday to close for Monday XXXX. I awoke early on the Thursday morning contacted XXXX Cell phone and verified with her that she had received 5 employers VOE! Well I called XXXX in the office later that Thursday around XXXX and spoke with XXXX. XXXX response was " XXXX I m scared, the underwriters do not like your file at all, I dont know which way it is going to work but by end of day i will know if i have a final approval. XXXX said if that FHA Loan doesnt work I can get a UQM ( unqualified Mortgage ). At XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX calls me and says " XXXX I was rooting for you and unfortunaley I cant get you approved! '' She stated to me the reason why she gave me a pre-approval is because she was given the go ahead from her higher ups! Now I am out of XXXX for nothing! I contacted XXXX XXXX the owner of the company on XXXX XXXX and asked how can i make a complaint on someone in the office and she said she will take the complaint. As I spoke with her she stated she will call me back in the morning at XXXX after she gets my file and reviews it. OnXX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX at ext XXXX no answer and lft a message. she called back at XXXX XXXX XXXX stating she recieved my file and if it were up to her she would not have given me a pre-approval from the beginning! I stated that is all i wanted to know! Do not string me along make me believe i have a loan going through every single process an approved person will go through and spend so much money and not get it! XXXX response was '' Well XXXX isnt wrong, There are some files we work miracles out of and maybe she thought she could do something with your file! '' I told her XXXX should have told me from the begining it was mandatory to have a 2 years min for XXXX XXXX, stable work history is important! from there i would have made a decision to continue or not! XXXX states well she didnt do anything wrong? She doesnt believe that XXXX scamming me is wrong! I told her I paid XXXX for an appraisal which never should have happened her response were " Well that is the process when buying a home '' She proceeded to tell me she will call the appraisal company and get a credit and refund me the XXXX since it was not used for closing on the property. I have been calling her ever since and she keeps picking up the phone and hanging up on me, not returning my phone calls or even responding! This company has scammed me! They made me think we are getting the house! We shouldnt have spent so much money for something that was not going to happen! I question the Licenses of each person who worked on my file XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX And XXXX XXXX. This company should not have experimented on my file and cause me over XXXX in lost funds! This office is also possibly being ran illegal as the office that worked on my file is in XXXX FL and they also have an office in Virginia, and supposedly Corporate in Texas. If the file should not have been approved that why was it? I want my money back for the appraisal that was never used to close on the property. WDO report which really wasn't needed but just to spend more money!
