Thursday XXXX/XXXX/2016 I received a call from a number listed as my local court house. XXXX. I was told that I was being sued and needed to be served my papers for court the following day at my place of home. She asked me for my current address, and I gave it to her thinking it was for a legal matter. I asked the lady who was suing me and she stated she was n't sure the documents were sealed. She stressed the documents did have a mediation stamp and that means I can contact the attorney and settle before XXXX XXXX that day and not be served. She gave me the number to the supposed attorney whom I contacted immediately at XXXX And a gentleman answered the phone and I told him who I was he pulled me right up and explained my debt of {$680.00} that I could make in payments of half then and half XX/XX/XXXX to settle outside of court. I explained I was just getting back from XXXX leave and would only be able to make payment of XXXX and the remaining on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. He then transferred me to the payment center and a lady took my payment, She explained she would go ahead and send me receipt to my email immediately after. I waited and never got a receipt finally wrote and called the number back Friday and Saturday and was told they would get it to me as soon as possible. I finally got the receipt and noticed they had my current address, which no one has except the lady that called from the " XXXX house '' so I got to thinking I wonder how they got my updated address. I decided to contact the court house this morning at XXXX and make sure everything was settled. I was informed by the representative from the justice of the peace that I never had a case against me and they would never even call me before they serve. So I have caught this company in a lie. They represented their selves with a legit phone number saying they were the court house in my county. So I am highly upset and will be filing complaints with everyone I can.

I have a very old debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX. The total balance is {$1700.00}. The original amount of the payday loan was {$800.00}, but they added fees. The debt is from roughly XXXX or maybe XXXX. It could be from as far back as XXXX. The debt was sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I called them recently, they told me the debt is now with Delray Capital LLC. I tried to call the phone number I was given for Delray Capital, but it was given an automatic recording that the number or phone I had dialed was incorrect. Today, I received a voicemail from a woman using a local phone number : XXXX, telling me that a complaint had been filed against me in my district court, and they were trying to reach me to serve me with papers, so they needed my address. When I called the number back, I spoke with someone named XXXX XXXX and he stated he was calling with XXXX XXXX XXXX. He told me that a lawsuit was being initiated against me for financial fraud. I asked him what this was regarding, and he told me it was regarding my {$1700.00} balance with XXXX XXXX XXXX. He attempted to get me to pay the balance, saying if I waited, I would have to pay legal fees. I told him I would call him back. He gave me a phone number to reach him : XXXX. I am an XXXX myself, a recent XXXX XXXX XXXX, so I knew something was up. After doing some research, it appears that Delray Capital and XXXX XXXX XXXX have been the subject of a recent lawsuit for violating practically every provision of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. I am convinced that this same company was behind the call I received today.

I received a call from XXXX on XXXX XXXX claiming to be a process server that was going to serve me for a debt I owed and to provide XXXX forms of ID. If I had any questions to please call an XXXX phone number. When I called the number I was told that they were an arbitration group working with the state to work with me prior to going to court. If I could pay {$800.00} now ( over {$500.00} more than I had taken a loan for ) they would place a stop order on the summons and I would n't have to appear in court. I panicked and agreed to a payment arrangement under the assumption that this was actually a company working with the state dept. However, I did some research later in the day when I realized that the charge was coming from a Delray Capital and not the arbitration group they claimed to be. Also in the email they sent to me after the agreement was in place I saw at the bottom of the very official looking letter that it was actually a collection agency. I had been lied to multiple times in order to scare me into paying.

I got a phone call from a woman from Del Ray Capital saying i took out a payday loan from the cash store. They told me they were an installment loan place. the lady told me i was going to be charged with a misdemeanor and go to jail as well get sued. she got very nasty with me yelling at me and reading stuff off of my credit report. she called me at my place of business i asked her not to and she said they could do whatever they want. I asked her to mail me documentation on her allegations and she said no she would just have my county proceed with charging me. I know my rights but for someone who doesnt know this could have been very scary. the amount she said i owe is more than XXXX of what i borrowed. i did make payments towards it when i got it as well. I hope they are investigated and learn that you can not talk to consumers in that way. threatening is no way to collect a debt, i worked collections for many years. i asked to speak to a supervisor and the rep proceeded to tell me she was the owner of the company.

I received a phone call from the following phone number ( XXXX ) XXXX from a woman named XXXX XXXX, she phoned me at my job on Wednesday XXXX XXXX, 2015 about XXXX claiming to be representative of XXXX XXXX which is where I currently bank, she stated that something happened with my account and that was the reason for the phone call. I requested the phone number to return the call and she stated that the call would bypass her secretary and go directly to her. I looked the phone number she gave to me online and found out it is a debt collection agency named XXXX or Del Ray XXXX, so when I called this same lady answered the phone still claiming to be a representative of XXXX XXXX Bank. When I asked her for verification she proceeded to give me my old banking information. I informed this lady that I do not want her to contact me at work again and that I would be reporting her fraudulent behaviors.

I am being contacted from a collection agency that states that I recieved a pay loan from a company that I never applied to or recieved money from. Delray Capital been harrassing me stating that I owe their client money from a loan on XXXX XXXX 2013. I asked who was the company and they state that I wouldnt know the company because they bought the loan from the originator but wouldnt tell me that company name. The rep XXXX XXXX ext XXXX stated that the loan amount was XXXX but with fess I owe XXXX dollars. He stated that if I sent in proof there was nothing deposited I will be fine. I sent in proof that there was no deposit and he got is " manager '' XXXX on the phone who proceeded to begin threating me and my identity ie ssn, DL etc. I was told they will get their client money. I have never recieved any money from the online pay company.

XXXX XXXX stated that they were attorneys trying to collect on a payday loan. They also disclosed the debt without verifying they had the correct party. I had lost my job and did not have any money to put anything on file. Told them on XXXX call that I could put something on file but that it would have to be for a month out as I just started a job. They wanted me to call back and put {$100.00} on file. The first representative was very rude and harassing. I felt very worried about how I was being treated. It was the first time I had talked to anyone from there. I did not refuse to pay but they are trying to submit me for legal action. I was told that they were working for attorneys but I have never heard from the office that owns the debt.

They called about an year ago leaving a voicemail threatening that i would go to jail if i did n't make a payment to them that day. They left the same voicemail on my parents and siblings phones. in fear of there threat i began paying them the claimed i owed XXXX on a payday loan. since then they have taken over XXXX from my account and have n't returned any of my phone calls. Finding this very suspicious far too late in the game i did research on them to find out that the XXXX has an alert on them and multiple fraud complaints. I thought i was paying off a debt but now feel i have flushed XXXX down the toilet please help.

This company keeps calling advising if I do not call them today they will start legal action.. This company also called about 6 months ago advising they had filed legal action and we 're looking for an address to serve me and if I did not provide XXXX they would contact my employer. I saved. These messages. I have asked them for verification of the debt but they refuse to provide it to me. And advise they will proceed. I have checked the county records and there have been no filings against me in small or municipal court. Any debt owed exceeds 4 years and the status of limitations is XXXX.

I keep getting threatening from calls from an XXXX company that is scam. They are calling from a no caller ID number threatening to contact the local law enforcement in XXXX ms about a loan. They are harassing me to give up bank account information and pay it in full with a debit card. When I refuse they will call my cell phone back to back up to XXXX times a day and have even called my job leaving messages to call them at XXXX. I contacted the Ms Attorney General and filed a complaint they are a scam.

Received an automated phone call at XXXX EST today. The message referenced a " recent transaction involving your bank account '' and then a case number was provided. After researching the number online, I found that it was yet another scammer ; they seem to love me. I 'm thinking they might be trying to collect on the same debt as the company in my previous complaint were.
