delmarva collections of XXXX md - XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX md XXXX - XXXX this company is trying to collect a debt i believe i do not owe. i am not aware of any debt i should owe to one of their clients - XXXX XXXX XXXX {$24.00}. delmarva 's internal collection account number is XXXX and the disputed date of the disputed service is XX/XX/2018. i sent a letter to delmarva collections requesting information on the debt they claim i owe. i asked for information not an investigation. i asked for information that the federal trade commission expects collectors to provide as per 1.5 u.s. c. 1681 fair practices for debt collectors. i received a letter dated XX/XX/2018 from delmarva stating reference to their internal collection account XXXX they claim that i did not provide enough information about my challenge to this disputed debt. when in fact - i provided everything they could possibly need - i disputed the debt as " service not received '' this is easy to understand - they also state that they are refusing to provide me the information -- they must provide based on the previous stated ftc rule. i expect either for them to provide me this information about the disputed debt or release the debt from my name. this is unfair debt collecting practices.

Delmarva Collections , Inc. agency started reporting false information on my credit report in XX/XX/2018. At that time, I spoke with the original creditor, XXXX XXXX XXXX and it was removed. In XXXX, Delmarva Collections , Inc. started reporting the same incorrect information. After many hours on the phone with XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX I was told they were finally able to resolve the billing error on XXXX XXXX XXXX part and that it would be removed immediately back in XXXX. I just pulled my credit report again today, XX/XX/XXXX, and Delmarva Collections , Inc. is still reporting that I owe the debt. I have documentation that was sent to me by XXXX XXXX XXXX as well as XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX that shows that the account has a {$0.00} balance because the insurance paid the balance in full. See the attached documents for more information.

On XX/XX/XXXX a collection account from Delmarva Collections showed up on my XXXX credit report, this account is for a school fee for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I previously Disputed this account with another collection agency XXXX XXXX XXXX they were unable to provide proof of this debt they were originally charging me for {$4800.00} XX/XX/XXXX which was inaccurate and they closed the account due to my dispute. Now another agency is trying to collect on this account for {$630.00} more than the last agency {$5500.00} now, I do not believe I owe this amount and never gave any permission or signed anything stating they can tack on multiple hundreds of dollars of fees and charges. This debt they are referring to was covered by a pell grant and federal loans which I am still paying back. This is illegal and Id like this to be corrected.

Delmarva Collections : XXXX XXXX XXXX This is account is past the statute of limitations in MD and has expired. It is still being reported on my credit report. I am well aware of my right under the FDCPA & my state laws governing the amount of time that collections are allowed to report on my credit file. This time has past and this needs to be removed. I was also unaware of this debt period as I have never received any correspondence or notifications from this company stating that I owed this debt.

I wrote Delmarva Collections a verification letter about a debt on my credit report and mailed it by certified mail on XX/XX/2018. I received in the mail yesterday a response with my original letter with the words written on it, " account #?? ". I do not know my account number. I thought sending my letter back with words written on it was very unprofessional. I am an consumer trying to get a debt collector to verify a debt that has been posted on my credit report.

At first contact from " Delmarva Collections '' in XX/XX/XXXX, I instructed this company : to NOT contact me again, since this " DEBT '', is not mine.
