My wife and I sold a condo in XXXX of this year. We accepted a down payment from the buyer and agreed to let the buyer make interest-only monthly payments of {$3400.00} for a few months until he paid off the remaining principal of {$910000.00}.
At our realtor 's suggestion, we enlisted Del Toro Loan Servicing Inc to collect the buyer 's payments and deposit them to our bank account, all loan expenses to be paid by the buyer.
The buyer paid off the loan on XX/XX/XXXX along with his final interest payment.
We expected that payment to be {$910000.00} plus {$3400.00} equals {$920000.00}.
Instead, the deposit to our account was for {$920000.00}.
When I asked Del Toro why the payment was {$110.00} shy, I was told it was because the buyer was one day early with his payment.
My agreement was with Del Toro, not the buyer. I really don't care about the timing of the buyer 's payment to Del Toro.
