I was a victim of identity theft crimes. The criminal ( s ) used my identity to apply for many credit cards, used them and left without paying. I filed for a police report and explained my situation to all the banks and collectors. I called and talked with some collectors, emailed them the police reports. Still, some collectors chased me asking me to pay, even if they knew I was a victim and they got the police report. One of this collector is called Debtsy. Here 's the contact : XXXX at XXXX \| XXXX XXXX \| XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX How did they get my email address? When I called and talked to someone at Debtsy, I offered to email them the police report. They got my email and police report. Instead of believing what I said, they continued writing to me, asking me to pay. These banks issued credit cards without adequately checking the identity of the applicants. They approved the applications without even seeing the applicants. Here 's what I received from XXXX, " I work with Debtsy, the company hired to collect on your XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX balance. This account was originated by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX but is currently owned by XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. We're contacting you about your overdue balance of {$720.00} for the account ending in XXXX. '' By the way, I have already called XXXX XXXX many months ago and also contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX about this debt being the result of a fraudulent act, not my own doing. Still they sent it to the collector. It is frustrating and it's so hard to get rid of these people. By the way, they also added it to my credit score. I was victimized not once but more than twice, first by the identity thieves, second by the banks and the collectors! I would like to see the identity thieves, the banks and their hired collectors receiving due punishment for they have wrongly done. I'd like to see justice is done and the innocents are protected in the end!

This account was opened in XXXX and I was made aware of it in XXXX of XXXX when it went into charge off status. I have been going back and forth with this company, sending them police report documentation and they continue to say the account is valid. The address that the stools were sent to isnt even an address I resided at before. I never pursued it much because it didnt have much of an affect on my credit until XXXX of XXXX. All of a sudden the account changed to collection status and it dropped my score 40 points. Now the account is with debtsy, who I have contacted and sent my police report to, but I have been told there is nothing they can do and to contact XXXX. I have repeatedly told the company XXXX that I was not the one who purchased the barstools with my XXXX and main account. I have repeatedly sent them my police report and just a week or two ago I submitted an identity theft report via FTC recommended by Experian credit bureau. I have even offered to pay the amount if they will delete the account. XXXX has just recently sent me an email asking for me to return a filled out form, however, I have been going through the ringer with this company and just want the fraud account removed. I am attaching the communication from debtsy and XXXX. As you can see with debtsy I have attempted to have them investigate numerous times last year.

Someone used my information without my knowledge to obtain a signature loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have spoken with representatives from XXXX, and have been told there is a bank account and phone number that is not mine attached to the account, and that the account was accessed and payed from out of state. I was told XXXX would be investigating the matter and that they would be in contact with me. XXXX did nothing but continue their attempts to collect the debt and report false information to the credit bureaus. I have sent a letter, supporting documents, and a copy of the FTC Identity theft report to XXXX. Instead of resolving the issue, they have hired a debt collection agency, Debtsy. Debtsy continues attempts to collect a fraudulent debt and send false information to the credit bureaus. I have contacted Debtsy and sent them the FTC report, however they claim the debt is valid. I have never signed anything with XXXX, I have never entered a branch of XXXX, and I have never visited a website belonging too or affiliated with XXXX.

I have never heard of this company Debtsy , Inc . but I am suppose to be owner of a card that I do not have last year 5 cards were open in my name using my phyical address instead of my mailing address the way I found out about these cards is I started getting bills for accounts not being paid I am XXXX years old I am trying to get out of debt not make debt but there were 7 attempts to acrue credit in my name and 5 cards were issued to someone and it is showing up on my credit report thats when I became aware of this I talked to someone for one of the cards but it seem like i am getting know where with this, one of the cards is to a XXXX XXXX for XXXX I would not even except a XXXX card or why would I need a XXXX card please work on taking care of this issue I do pay my bills but I can not pay bills for someone else. I have never dealt with creditor.

I made a payment to DEBTSY a debt collector working on the behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2021 for the amount of XXXX to settle my balance, I've received notification from XXXX that they verified the information as being accurate on my credit report as that the amount was not updated and they refuse to acknowledge the settlement as if I paid and it went nowhere.

Debtsy inc at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX has been sending me collection notices in the amount of {$150.00} the collection has been reported as past due balance. I do not know this company. I have never done any business with this company. This company does not have a contract with my signature.

have reach out to this company asking them to valid this debt and they never did but yet they are still trying to collect on it. And this company is in violation of codes 15 use 1692b ( 2 ) 15 use 1692f 15 use 1692b ( 5 ) 15 use 1611 all which is subject to a XXXX per fine.
