I just got a phone call from " Credit Judgements '' saying I 'm in default for a payday loan I took out in 2012 from the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have taken out a payday loan in the past, but I 'm pretty sure that it was paid. I explained to them that I have never gotten anything in the mail and I asked them to send me information so I could research the validity of this claim. They refused to send me information and that I could take care of it with a credit/debit card or if I did n't do that, I would have to wait for a court summons and get an attorney if I wanted to fight it. Twice an anonymous male-voiced computerized message has been left on our answering machine, the first time about a week ago ( XXXX/XXXX/2015 or XXXX/XXXX/2015 ) and again this morning ( XXXX/XXXX/2015 ) at XXXX. The voice does not give the name of the person intended to receive the message, and it identifies itself only as " Consumer Judgment. '' It says that the recipient should call an XXXX number as soon as possible to avoid further action. The number given to call is XXXX. We did not call this number.

I have been receiving phone call from a debt collector stating that I owe on a account that I is paid and closed. according to my credit report and contact with the credit card company. they have refused to send me a copy of the debt they say I owe and when I ask for their info. they get hostile and hang up on me
