I answered a phone call at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, the person on the phone identified himself as XXXX XXXX XXXX He told me that I was being sued and that they were unsuccessful in serving me a court order. When I asked him what I was being sued for, he told me he was unable to tell me and that I needed to call the attorney that was suing me. I did not have a pen to take down the phone # to call at that exact moment, so he called back and left a message with a phone number XXXX, a case # XXXX and the attorney 's name, XXXX XXXX, and said that he was placing my account on a temporary hold to " avoid any legal issues or concerns. '' After retrieving the message, I immediately called the number and provided them with the case number. I was transferred to a woman who identified herself as a paralegal. She then proceeded to try to get me to identify myself again and I told her, " I already gave you that information why are you asking me for that information again? '' She then proceeded to state my name and social security number. And said that I was being sued and that my wages were going to be garnished. I stopped her and asked her what I was being sued for. She stated that XXXX was suing me for an amount in excess of {$44000.00}, to which I told her that she has the wrong person and that that the debt is not mine. I told her to send me the paperwork proving I owe this amount, and she kept stating that she needed me to confirm my social security number to confirm that I owed the debt. I kept telling her that this debt was not mine and she said that they were filing a document to garnish my wages. I recently checked my credit report and there are NO delinquent accounts on my credit report and I have no idea what she was talking about but apparently I'm being sued and my wages will be garnished soon. I called back because I realized, I had no idea what company this was, and I was told the name of the company is DAS ( Direct Answering Solutions ). I could not find any information regarding this company via a XXXX search or the attorney XXXX XXXX.

Collectrix put a lien on my property because they said I owed a debt. I am not the person listed on the documents that they claim the debt is owed. I received the Judgement Lien and spoke to their representative who was very unprofessional and rude. After this, I sent them an email. Their date of entry of judgment was on XX/XX/XXXX and their declaration and date of notice were executed on XX/XX/XXXX. The statute of limitation is 10 years. The amount that the judgment is, is {$16000.00} + XXXX per day + collection cost. On XX/XX/XXXX and today on XX/XX/XXXX I emailed them a statement and their responses are asking me for personal information that is not needed, especially when they are sending documents and placing liens on property that is not even valid, as I am not the person who they should be sending a judgment to.

In XX/XX/XXXX, a judgement was made against me for 2 months of back rent. I was unable to pay for many years. In XX/XX/XXXX, a creditor began reaching out to collect on the judgement. In XX/XX/XXXX, the judgement automatically expired, according to California law. The judgement was not renewed by the creditor prior to expiration. On XX/XX/XXXX I let the creditor know that the matter had expired and asked them to cease and desist collection efforts. On XX/XX/XXXX, they contacted 16 people I know asking for financial records, as well as my current landlord asking for financial information about me.

XXXX XXXX w/ Collectrix garnished {$2500.00} from my wages and put a lien on my property for a debt I did not owe. It was the result of ID Theft.
In addition he has threatened to sue me again, attempted to increase the amount of the original garnishment / judgment and now refuses to return the money after a Notice Of Entry Of Judgment has confirmed I was not the responsible for this debt.
The courts also found he was not authorized to proceed as the assignee of the claim. Yet he garnished {$2500.00} and still has a lien on my property.
