At XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/16, I received a call from XXXX XXXX with D2 Management advising that she was collecting for XXXX accounts. She stated the account balances were from 9 years ago. We came to an agreement in the amount to be paid. She stated she needed to secure future payments with checking account info or credit/debit card. I advised that she contacted me at work and I did not have that information with me. We agreed that I would call once I got home and provide the payment information. During my lunch, I decided to research the company since I have never heard of them. I located the XXXX page with numerous complaints about aggressive and illegal collection tactics. I was also able to locate other complaints about possible scams. At XXXX I called D2 Management at the number XXXX provided, XXXX. A representative answered. I provided my name and advised I had made a payment arrangement with XXXX earlier. I stated that I would like to receive the payment arrangement in the mail before I provided my information. The representative asked if she could transfer me to XXXX as she did not want to note a " refusal to pay '' on an account that was n't hers. I stated that I was not refusing to pay and that I simply needed the agreement in writing. XXXX answered and after verifying my information, I requested a payment arrangement in writing. While speaking, she cut me off and advised that they would need the payment information on file today and would email the agreement to me. I advised that I needed the written arrangement mailed to my address because I did not feel comfortable giving my information to a company over the phone. Again she talked over me while I was attempting to speak. For a couple of minutes listening to XXXX tell me about marking a refusal to pay if I did n't give her my payment information. Once she was done I sat quietly until I was sure she was done speaking. I asked if I could have a chance to speak. XXXX stated yes. Once I was able to speak and advised that I will provide my payment information once I have the agreement in writing, a manager named XXXX came on the line and began shouting over me. She accused me of yelling at her representative and yelling at her. I attempted to speak and she cut me off saying I was not going to yell. I calmly and quietly stated that that I needed an agreement in writing so that I could verify they were a legitimate company. She immediately cut in and yelled that the call was being recorded all the while making sure that her voice was being heard over mine. It was very obvious that she was attempting to make it sound like I was refusing to pay my balance and attempting to get me to raise my voice. She continued to advise that they will garnish my wages since I am in a garnishment state. Keep in mind that not once did I say I was n't paying. I simply asked for a payment agreement in writing. While she finished her closing statement about my refusal to pay and that they would garnish my wages, I simply kept repeating " I will provide my payment information once I receive the agreement. '' She then hung up once she finished with her speech. The bottom line, D2 Management has a history of abusive collection techniques. Not once during either of my phone calls today did I refuse to pay nor did I state that I did n't owe a balance. I am more than willing to do what I can to pay the balances, but I will not pay any random person who calls me and demands money while being completely disrespectful and belligerent. This call was very reminiscent of the fraudulent IRS calls threatening to have people arrested if they do n't pay.

I took out a payday loan in 2018 that was not paid back entirely. I made payments on the debt but lost my job and unable to finish at that time. I had used a payment arrangement previously to pay back a loan when it became difficult. I was advised I could only do this once in a 12 month period so I would not be able to do it again when I lost my job a few months after that arrangement. The debt was sent to a collection agency. I did receive several voicemails about the debt but was never sent any written correspondence, nor do I answer unknown numbers. The agency was never identified in the voicemails and I do not call back companies that do not identify themselves as I get a ton of " robo-calls ''. The calls eventually stopped. Today I received a phone call from a " local '' number and answered as I am in the middle of a job hunt. I didn't want to miss a potential employer calling. The representative stated her name and asked " so I know who I am talking to, can you verify the last 4 of your social? '' I had to ask for her to identify the company which was D2 Management. I have never heard of this company. She did state that she was calling for XXXX XXXX XXXX and then stated the disclosure to this is an attempt to collect a debt, for collection agencies. She advised what the amount was, which was {$500.00}. During the conversation, I stated I had never received any correspondence that they were attempting to collect on this debt and that I have no idea who this company is. She said I could look the company up on the XXXX site. I advised I was currently unemployed and could only make a small monthly payment of $ XXXX. The representative ( XXXX ) advised that the payment would have to be " approved '' since the debt is over 12 months old and would have to be an auto payment by credit or debit card. I declined this and advised once I received a letter in the mail verifying the debt and payment arrangement, I would send in payments by money order if required but I do not do automatic payments. XXXX told me that if I was worried about having my information that I could get a prepaid debit card but that mailed in payments could not be accepted. I asked again to have a letter sent in the mail verifying the information and again ( several times ) advised I was not going to set up an automatic payment but I would mail in payments. She told me at that point that " we are not going to send at letter since you won't set up an arrangement at this time. I am trying to help you but we have to have this arrangement set up, the debit or credit card on file before we send a letter. '' I informed her that the company is required to send a written notice of the debt and with the refusal not to do so, the conversation is over. ''

I received a call from a women who asked me for my social security number and name. I said I did not feel comfortable telling her that information and then she told me my social and that I owed on a payday loan from 3-4 years ago. I said I do not recall that and she tried verifying my employment with a company I worked with 4-5 years prior. I said I do not work there and then she told me my bank account information. Once she gave that information I figured well I must owe and agreed to pay XXXX every XXXX of the month. The first payment was deducted on XX/XX/2019. I received a call today from a women and she started verifying employment of my old job XXXX ( again I have not worked there for 4-5 years ) after I gave her all my updated information. I was on a conference call when she called and asked if I can call her back because I was on the phone. She was still talking so I hung up, she called back 2 more times and I declined the call, again I was on a conference call. Then my receptionist came back to my area and asked if I was on the phone I told him yes. The receptionist said he had a very irate client on the call. Based on my work ethic my program director was not on the call and offered to take the call and assist the client. Once she got on the phone she said a women was asking where is XXXX put XXXX on the phone. My program director said she is on a call she can have me call her back or she can assist her. The women said put her manager on the phone. My director said she was in the same meeting I was in and again that she can assist her. She then persisted to speak with someone in HR. Then my director said ma'am they are not available I can assist you and then the women hung up. Once I was done with my call I got the phone number from the receptionist and called them back. I spoke with XXXX XXXX who spoke to me in such a manner that was disgusting and I've never been spoken to that way. He went on to tell me that I work at XXXX XXXX and that I am stupid because I can't pay my bills on time. I can't afford a lawyer because I can not pay XXXX dollars. I told him to never contact my place of business again and he said he is going to do whatever he wants. He was cussing and everything, I asked to speak with a manager and he said he was the manager. I came back upstairs and there were 3 more calls from the company. I am going to file a lawsuit with this company as this is completely unacceptable nor will I be treated like this by some scam company who only requires a high school diploma. I am so livid that a company would contact my place of business and harass myself and colleagues. The phone numbers they reached out to me were XXXX and XXXX.

Collection of a debt that has been paid since 2009. XXXX XXXX, no message left XXXX I called back at XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Spoke with lady and notified her of the situation after she explained she is trying to collect a debt on a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Charge-off, for over {$3000.00}. I explained that the debt is paid off since 2009 and I need to send a certified letter to her via physical address. My call dropped after I got just the city name. I called back and spoke with a different lady, who did not know who I previously to as " she is probably still notating the account ''. She verified my ID with last four of social security. I explained the situation to her as well and requested physical address for certified letter. She said " I 'm just an account rep, let me get you to an owner who can give you the information you need ''. I was put on hold for a couple of minutes. A XXXX XXXX answered from the complaints department. I asked if she was an owner and she said " No, but I can get you to one ''. I explained I was told it would be an owner, then explained yet again the situation. I asked for physical address she stated " Please hold while I can get some help with that ''. I held for a long time, probably over 5 minutes. It rang through to a rep again, being XXXX XXXX. She explained " the phone disconnected due to the long hold. Yes, let me get someone who can help with the physical address XXXX XXXX ''. I asked how she got that last name as they were calling for XXXX XXXX ( I never gave her XXXX, my legal last name ). She did not answer my question, nor did the following man. XXXX then answered. I explained again. He was more firm with me and offered a XXXX XXXX XXXX I informed him that " both the NY FTC and the attorneys I have worked with have advised physical address only for certified letter. The post office also requires it ''. XXXX rebuttled " Yes you can [ receive certified mail by XXXX XXXX ], we get them all the time. A little yellow card ''. I demanded again to get the physical address " So you are denying me the ability per federal law to send a certified letter of payoff to prevent you from illegally collecting on, or selling, this debt ''. He still denied so I demanded the XXXX XXXX which he provided very slowly. I then demanded a listed phone number. I informed him that I would be reporting D2 Management to the SEC and appropriate government agencies for denying to provide sufficient contact information for me to prove payoff. XXXX stated " Please do file. Please do ''. Conversation ended - 15 minute call during my work day.

We have had d2 management call twice and attempt to collect debt from my wife that she has never had. The company claims the credit card was started through a XXXX XXXX XXXX, a XXXX card they stated was opened on XX/XX/XXXX and closed the following year, claiming " she made payments on the account from her bank ''. The first call stated she owed {$550.00}. Thinking this was from a recent store card she had opened in XX/XX/XXXX, she called the store credit card directly and verified that there was no balance on the card ( this is the first credit card she has ever opened, only ever having a debit card ). She called the collection agency back. When she refused to set up a payment plan, she was connected to the manager who stated she owed {$350.00}. They listed off her previous residence, gave her maiden name, and the manager even listed off her social security number in full, without verification, to me ( her husband ). They made statements that credit cards do n't always report to credit reports or that it might not show up on a credit report since it had been 8 years. They were adamant that there was no possible fraud involved on the account. They were each extremely pushy and would not listen to what we said, would not reveal their client ( seeing as this bank was bought out by XXXX XXXX and no longer exists ), said only that they were a collection agency and insisted that my wife had opened this account. She has never been contacted by XXXX XXXX. This is the first time we have heard anything on this " debt ''. We have checked credit scores multiple times in the past eight years and have not seen any sign of fault or no payment pertaining to any credit card. They were threatening that they would report us to the IRS as a XXXX unreported income. No current information was provided by my wife or myself to the debt collection agency on either of these calls as to current address, last name, or any bank account information. They called from ( XXXX ) XXXX which is a XXXX area code but stated they were calling from XXXX, that the local number was for phone numbers that do not have long distance service or only have a pay-as-you-go phone. They stated multiple times the legal disclaimer that they were seeking to collect on debt and that anything we said could be used to that means, that everything we said would be recorded for customer service and training purposes even using this to keep us from speaking.

I was initially contacted by this company in early XX/XX/2022. When I answered the phone, they did NOT identify themselves as a debt collector/collection agency ( CA ). They only proceeded to ask for identifying information, which I was not going to give because I've been a victim of fraud before. My understanding of the FDCPA, a company does NOT need identifying info to let someone know they are a debt collector. They only need identifying info to discuss the specifics of the account. I only found out they were a CA through a XXXX search and I've seen their unscrupulous practices documented by others through reviews, complaints and XXXX. I called them back ( on a recorded call because I live in a one party state ) and stated if they were a CA, that I disputed whatever account they're asking about ( because I owe nothing, but know it's a process ) and to not call me anymore. I stated that if they'd like to communicate further, to do so in writing. This company has proceeded to call back multiple times ( including today ) after my initial dispute, without sending anything to me as required by the FDCPA. The reps are extremely rude and simply hang up when you ask for the simplest info such as an address or fax number which is also another no, no. The business states incorrectly states they follow the law. I have them on recorded phone calls violating the FDCPA. A mini Miranda was NOT read when I was initially contacted and it most certainly does NOT require me to identify myself before disclosing you're a debt collector. They state that I can't believe what I read on the internet, so someone should tell the business that the FTC apparently has all of the statutes wrong on their .gov website. I believe it's 807. False or misleading representations and specifically : ( 11 ) The failure to disclose in the initial written communication with the consumer and, in addition, if the initial communication with the consumer is oral, in that initial oral communication, that the debt collector is attempting to collect a debt and that any information obtained will be used for that purpose, and the failure to disclose in subsequent communications that the communication is from a debt collector, except that this paragraph shall not apply to a formal pleading made in connection with a legal action.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I recieved a phone call from a Debt collection company called D2 management. The man who was in the phone tried telling me that I owed {$350.00} for a payday loan that was placed. This company sold my debt to another company two months ago to another company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called and paid a settlement amount with the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have a credit card statement that proves it, along with a letter from the company. The man with D2 management yelled at me over the phone. He told me that he heard my recorded messages from past phone calls and that I dont have any proof of paying the debt, even though I do. He continued to talk over me by yelling. I disconnected the phone call with him and the same man called me back. He continued to yell and told me that I wrote a bad check for the payday loan, when I know I didnt. I do not own a check book. He also stated that my debt was never sold to another collection company. I never heard of XXXX XXXX XXXX until I viewed my credit report and saw that D2 management sold my debt to them. The man with D2 management tried saying that I made an agreement with them to do a payment plan with the first pay starting in XXXX. The agreement was voided because the first payment did not go through. They would not accept the possibility of waiting until the next payment for XXXX. I was told that because the first payment for XXXX didnt go through, that the agreement was considered void. Then I was threatened to be taken to court and a judgement filed against me. In XXXX, D2 management took funds from my account, even though I was told the agreement was voided. I called my bank and had the funds credited back to my account because they did not have permission to withdraw funds, since the previous agreement was voided. I called D2 management and spoke with a representative to ask them why they withdrew funds without my permission? I was told that they were going by an agreement, even though it was voided. XX/XX/XXXX, is the first time I have spoke with D2 management since XXXX. Every phone call with them has been recorded. Including the phone call with them saying that my agreement was voided.

Took out payday loan in XXXX with XXXX based in XXXX, XXXX XXXX business as Cashland XXXX XXXX hit, the business closed, did not have no contact information nor did they send me a letter to let us know they were closing until now when they finally called me. The only way I found out they were closed it when I went to pay the loan off since I missed my payment arrangement, the store was closed. I did not get any communication until XX/XX/XXXX when XXXX management ( ph # XXXX ) called threatening me during a time I am trying to retrieve my son 's body from XXXX. He was in a motorcycle accident and I explained to them I have documentation and I was trying to raise money to get to XXXX to him and his family. I did not get the persons name but she said the only thing they want to hear is that I am going to pay the {$400.00} and something dollars or they will move forward to ligation. I explain to him to give me time because I just lost my son over the weekend and working to get him home, I don't have the money. She did not care and this just send me into a deep XXXX. I can not handle this, trying to keep my family calm, making funeral arrangements, trying to get an emergency passport and other things. I feel this call was not warranted and I told them I have documentation to show I was telling the truth. The only thing she said was I will update the file, no my condolences or nothing and my son was in the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I tried to work something out with them due to my circumstances but they were not trying to hear what I was going through and did not want to work with me creating even more hardship during a time or mourning and trying to keep my family focused.

I received a call from XXXX ( on XX/XX/2022, XXXX ) asking to verify my first name. I told them it " depends on the reason of the call '' because I did not want to be scammed or a victim of identity theft again. She identified her debt collections agency as D2 Management. Then the lady disclosed the last XXXX digits of a social security without verifying who I am first. I did not disclose to them verbally my first name nor my last name. This is a violation of privacy. I then told them I do not know the reason of the phone call or what debt is being collect and hung up on them. Later, I called the same number ( XXXX on XX/XX/2022, XXXX ) and requested the debt collection agency 's mailing address to submit a debt verification letter. The lady identified herself as XXXX ( Did not confirm the spelling of her name ) and refused to provide the mailing address of the agency until I gave her my personal information. This is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ; a debt collection must be able to provide a mailing address without personal information to allow consumers to submit a debt verification letter. XXXX told me I could tell her my personal information and have them send me the debt verification letter, however, that could be a lie and they do not need personal information to disclose to me their mailing address for their debt collections agency. She did tell me the website of their agency, d2management.com. However, the website could be fraudulent or even have the wrong mailing address on the web page for the agency. She continued to refuse my request for the mailing address and told me she " will let her clients know '' and hung up on me.

This debt is becoming and more convoluted. I have been contacted by FOUR companies regarding this debt ( see attached ). I have never spoken to anyone regarding this debit until XX/XX/XXXX ( first time ever ). I did receive ONE email in XX/XX/XXXX, which went into SPAM and I didnt realize it until recently when I went to check after getting all these harassing calls. This debt is supposedly with XXXX D2 Management, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX- this is RIDICULOUS! I shouldnt be contacted by all these companies at one time for a debt ( an almost 5 year-old debt from my understanding ). On my XXXX, it's listed that it opened in XXXX. Yet, XXXX said it was XXXX, which is it?????? Today is Discoverer 's Day and even today do I get calls ON A HOLIDAY!!!! The attached says this debt came from D2 Management - Ive never even heard of D2 Management OR ANY OF THESE people until XXXX XXXX! The abuse I get ( and my mother who is XXXX XXXX XXXX in the hospital ) is OUTRAGEOUS!! I asked your representative to please stop calling me and I was literally told : " THIS IS THE UNITED STATES - WE CAN DO WHAT WE WANT '' - I am not sure which company it was because different companies are calling regarding for this ONE debt. I am reporting this to as many entities as I can because the attachment ( sent XX/XX/XXXX ) CLEARLY STATES IT WOULD NOT GO ON MY CREDIT REPORT DUE TO THE AGE AND YOU DID IT ANYWAY!! YOU ARE LIARS!!! If you lie about this you will lie about anything including this debit ( I am not even given the right date as to when it was opened and defaulted )! I want the calls to me and my family TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At approximately XXXX on XX/XX/2018 I received threatening phone calls from a District of Columbia number ( XXXX ) XXXX. The agent claimed the call was recorded and that her name was XXXX and that the phone call was in reference to a debt collection. XXXX asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my social security number as well as my name. I confirmed. She explained that I owed a debt to XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$720.00} to XXXX XXXX for overdraft protection fees. I explained to her that the account was closed over 10 years ago and that I had not overdrafted during the time the account was active to my knowledge. I also informed XXXX that I had not received any notices in the last 10 years from XXXX XXXX regarding this matter. I told her that I would follow up with bank directly and if she could provide me the account number in question. I asked her to provide me with the name of the business she was calling from and the address so that I could follow up. She claimed that she was a 3rd party debt collection agency called " D2 Management '' and that she could not provide an address, but that she could give me a PO Box . When I asked her to provide the PO Box address, she said that she didn't have it in front of her and she went into an abusive line of discussion demanding that I resolve the debt with her. I told her that I believed that the claim was scam and that I would report the D2 Management to the appropriate agency. She laughed and hung up the phone.

I recieved a call from this company asking for a particular person. I then had to ask who they were with before they would tell me. I then had to ask where they were based out of and the representative got upset and was refusing to tell me until i said i had the right to ask these questions before giving any information out. At this point he said that he couldn't give me information as i didn't " verify '' i was who they wanted to speak with. I wasn't asking for a person 's information. I was asking for the companies information. He finally told me they are based out of south Carolina. I then asked for the address of the company and the phone number. At that point he said " what are you going to write me a letter? '' He also asked " who is this helping? '' He refused to give me an address and a phone number. He told me i could look it up online. At this point due to his refusal to answer valid questions before giving out any personal information i let him know I'd be disconnecting the call for refusing to answer my questions and assume they are a scam. I do record all of my calls to protect myself from shady practices, companies, and scams. I did also look up their address and found that it is the corner of an empty lot full of trees. I even did satellite view of the address. And to answer his question of who it is helping. It is helping the people who are scammed by fake companies pretending to be collections agencies. That is who this helps!

Received numerous calls from some company by the name of D2 Management regarding an alleged debt of over $ XXXX. I asked their representative do I have a contract with them and who gave them permissible purpose to contact me as I am listed on the national do not call registry. This person stated that they are calling on behalf of a client that I owe money to, yet she still would not tell me who this company was. They called from a bogus number ( XXXX ) XXXX which is definitely a red flag. If they are a legit company, why not be up front and honest about their whereabouts and their actual real number? The representatives got really belligerent because I asked them questions about the validity of an alleged debt, stating how they can see my credit report and how I don't pay my bills etc. I don't understand how this company can call and harass me although I am on the national do not call list. I asked very pertinent questions about this alleged debt that they just could not answer which caused them to get upset with me and ultimately hang up in my face. I would like this issue to be taken very seriously as they do not have the right to call me at my place of employment and threaten and harass me about an alleged debt that they just can not prove. I will be looking for this issue to be solved and this company reprimanded.

On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX EST I received a call from D2 Management Collections Firm from number XXXX the woman stated she was calling about a debt from XXXX. I asked what date and she became audibly annoyed and said XXXX. I disputed the validity and asked what specific date and she said XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and then she said " SIR, we've talked to you about this before '' I said, " When did you talk to me? '' Concerned that my identity had been stolen because I've never spoken to this company and she said " You just need to stop asking questions and PAY YOUR DEBT! '' then she hung up on me. Confused by the treatment I called back at XXXX and was hung up on. I called back at XXXX and was hung up on. I called back at XXXX and asked the person who answered the phone to please not hang up on me that I need to speak with a manager. I was transferred to XXXX and I explained what happened, he said he would look into it. I asked that he pull the recordings so they are available to the CFPB because there was absolutely no warrant for the way I was treated and abused. Additionally, she legally could not demand I pay after I disputed the debt. The company 's other employees perpetuated the harassment by hanging up on me. It was so shocking and confusing WHY I was being treated this way for asking questions.

This company has been calling repeatedly, not only myself but also calling extended family and friends. When I answered today ( XXXX XXXX @ XXXX p.m. ) they did not tell me the call was recorded, did not identify themselves by Company name even when I asked repeatedly. I told them they had some misinformation and the girl w ho said her name was XXXX XXXX but at first told me her name was XXXX ) pounced on me and said I had admitted to the debt ( which I had not, I simply asked for verification of the debt ). She was extremely rude, loud, talked over me and would n't let me get a word in edge-wise. Multiple times she flat out refused to give me the name of the debt collection company she represented. She threatened to take legal action. Again, I tried to ask for validity of the debt and she refused, speaking over me and continuing to threaten me with action. I finally hung up on her. I called back and asked to speak with a manager and encountered another rude person who kept refusing at which I point I mentioned taking legal legal action against them. I finally was put through to a " manager '' by the name of XXXX XXXX who said he worked for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX . I explained to him the problem but had no real resolution.

I received a phone call from XXXX on XXXX20. The woman said her name so fast that I could not understand it. She said my name and I told her that it was me, and then I asked who was calling. She simply asked me to confirm the last 4 of my SSN. I told her that I was not going to provide that information over the phone. I again asked her what the call was in regards to and she would not provide me with that information. She once again asked me to confirm my SSN and I told her no. She then stated " well, then I will take that as affirmation of gainful employment '' and proceeded to hang up on me. Today I received a call again but did not answer the phone. They then proceeded to call my husband on his cellphone and reiterated the same thing. He also refused to give out any of my information and they hung up on him as well. I contacted XXXX XXXX to ensure my information/identity had not been compromised and they stated that they did not see any suspicious activity on my account. I have no unpaid debts. I did look up this number and found multiple complaints of this being a scam. I have filed a report with XXXX XXXX, I have also filed a complaint with the XXXX as well. If this was a legitimate debt, they would not be harassing/menacing/rude/disrespectful.

I have received several calls lately from 2 debt collection agencies in reference to the same account. Both of these companies have called several times and threatened to sue me and garnish wages, etc. I've asked them both to please stop calling and harassing me. I've asked them to submit any and all information to my mailing address. I've also informed them that I do not know of the debt nor am I responsible for the debt. The 2 companies are D2 Management LLC & XXXX XXXX XXXX D2 management have mailed me a letter and the letter was mailed and received after the respond date that the company provided. I am attaching a copy of the letter as well as a copy of the dated stamp envelope that the letter was mailed in. As for XXXX, their representative continues to call several times a day and threatens me, but refuses to mail or email me anything in reference to this bill. Neither company has provided any proof that they have proving that this bill is mine. I've asked several times, but hasn't received anything but threats and harassment. XXXX refuses to provide me with an a physical address or location of their company. The only thing I have of XXXX is a phone number of XXXX, they've called from several phone numbers on a daily basis.

D2 Management - apparently a collection agency - called me from XXXX. They told me I owed 3 accounts that they hold. One was XXXX, one was XXXX, and one was XXXX. I do not recognize these accounts but I notified them that they can not collect on a debt from XXXX anyway because it is outside the statute of limitations for Ohio but she argued with me that it is not. I asked no less than 4 times during the call to have my debts sent in writing because I need to know who they were, what they were for, and when they were incurred, and she said things were mailed to me " before it went into collections and they do everything electronically by email. '' She flat out refused to take my address and send me anything in writing. I also notified her that she was calling me outside standard collection hours. She argued with me that it was XXXX. I live in Colorado. I used to live in Ohio, but she didn't give me a chance to tell her it was XXXX XXXX because she refused to take my address for mailing me the information and kept interrupting me and reiterating that I had to make a decision regarding paying these off or she " would have to tell her clients so they could make a decision about further legal action. I had made a payment agreement with D2 Management, LLC and I asked before they were going to take money out of my account that they were to contact me before to assure the money was available because my funds were short due to lack of work because of weather they never contacted me and I had needed the money for rent and asked if they could postpone my payment for a week and they told me I was basically S.O.L and just rude. I received many phone calls throughout the day and this went on for months and I answered the call while I was at work and was greeted with hostility and I had informed them I was at work and I would call them once I get off then the lady had told me that I needed to speak to her and handle the situation then and now and said I needed to step back and deal handle it now otherwise they will cancel my agreement immediately I was not able to spend my time with them at that point but she was VERY rude and I had lost my cool and said a bad word as I was hanging up and then received another call from her manager and he basically scolded and belittling me then informed me they cancelled my agreement.

The company called my number today, XXXX XXXX, 2017, through one of their different trunk numbers and did not leave a message. Someone then called my husband 's telephone ( my husband is not listed on any of my bills except household ). They told him that they were not calling in reference to a debt and that it was for another issue. I called back the same number that called us and the woman who answered the phone stated that they " litigate '' for different companies. When I XXXX the company, they are listed as a company that buys debts from payday loans, etc. then tries to collect. I spoke to someone from this company some time ago and requested that they present me with documentation from the debt I supposedly owed, to which the girl stated that she had all of my information in front of her and would not provide anything in writing to verify the outstanding debt. She continued to press me to set a payment arrangement, to which I continued to ask for written proof of the debt. This is my second report on this company. They also would not give an address where written documentation can be sent.

I received a call from XXXX asking for my husband. When I advised her that this was not his phone number, she asked that I take a message. She stated 'we have his social security number on important legal documents in our office, and we need to talk to him immediately '. When asked what number he can call back on, she provided XXXX. I at this point asked what company she was with, she said 'why would I tell you that? your not who I need to talk to '. I advised her that he is my husband. She proceeded to yell at me, asking why I did n't tell her that in the XXXX place. She said, I made it clear this was urgent, so why did n't you tell me he was your husband? She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She verified she was with D2 Management and her name was XXXX XXXX with no extension. I told her that I would relay the message to my husband, and if he chooses to do so, he will follow up. She threatened us, and said ' well, he should call, we have his full social security number ' or something along those lines. I was extremely furious after he tone and behavior, I ended the call.

I was contacted by phone by a company called D2 Management in, XX/XX/XXXX about a {$980.00} debt that I owed. They stated my wages would be garnished because of the amount of the debt, but, I could stop wage garnishment by paying a {$200.00} settlement amount. They emailed me the Final Notice with IRS CODE 26 U.S.C. 108 : US CODE SECTIO 108. So with in XXXX weeks I paid the settlement of {$200.00} and the company emailed me a settle letter. It wasnt until XX/XX/XXXX, as all of the new internet scams starting happening that I realized, the debt collection notice and phone call I received could have been a scam too. I instantly checked my credit reports from XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. No where did I see the debt amount of {$980.00} from D2 Management or a payment of {$200.00} to D2 Management. So then I called D2 Management and i spoke to XXXX. When I asked him, who the original creditor was, he stated " XXXX XXXX, you already know that infomation. '' He refused to provide me with any information about who I originally incurred the debt with. He did n't even give me a time frame or date.

The person that answered the phone did not identify the name of the company. I told her that received a call from this number and wanted to know why. She said no and when on to say I owned approximately {$600.00} and what employer I put down at the time of the loan. I have n't worked for that employer in over 10 years so if that is the case they are attempting to collect on a debt that is over the statue of limitation. Also, she refused to provide me with any type of verification of debt. She responded that something was already sent. On XX/XX/18, I received a phone call asking to speak XXXX XXXX. That is my maiden name and has been changed for almost 14 years at this point, so that was the first thing that made me think this call was phony. The person on the phone said that there was some paperwork they are trying to get to me and asked me to confirm an old address. I figured the call was about old debt that is past the statute of limitations, I should have played XXXX and got them to break more laws, but instead I asked them to provide me the address to send them a cease and desist. The fellow refused to provide the address and I requested to speak with the manager. XXXX then got on the phone and played bully. She refused to give me the address unless I confirmed my information which is illegal. I advised her I manage a XXXX XXXX and she then doubled down on her message. I asked repeatedly for the address and she flat out refused giving all the old school collection tactics I thought have been retired. I think the company is D2 Management LLC, the rep said D2M was the company name.

They then said I owed +/- {$550.00} on a pay day loan that they claim i used my check stub and applied for it on my account at XXXX XXXX . Number one i have never had an account at XXXX XXXX. Number two i have never EVER taken out a payday loan in my entire life. When I attempted to explain it to the lady she argued with me and said i was not correct. I asked where she got my last 4 digits of my SS and she would not answer. I then explained that i never had an account at XXXX XXXX and that i never took out a pay day loan in my life. She again said that i was incorrect. I asked for her to send me the documents showing this and she only wanted to know how i was going to settle the debt. I told her it was not mine and I was reporting them for Fraud and hung up. She also claimed, when i asked where she got my last 4 digits of my SS number, that she was recording the conversation for training purposes.

I have been repeatedly called by D2 Mgmt. regarding a debt that they say I owe to XXXXXXXX XXXX on an account they say was opened on XX/XX/2006. D2 states that I owe {$1600.00}. I have told them each time they call me that I do not owe them or XXXX XXXX anything, that I am on permanent XXXX and that I will not pay them a XXXX on a debt that I do not owe. D2 representatives have bullied me, threatened me, stated they will sue me, and refuse to cease and desist calling my telephone. I have checked my credit reports with 3 different credit bureaus at least once a year since 2006 and there has never been an account with XXXX XXXX shown as in collection or delinquent on any of them. Frankly, I am tired of this company 's threats. Today, I finally told their representative that if they believe they can sue me for a debt that I do not owe, they should do so and stop calling me. The D2 rep did her best to scare and intimidate me and has repeatedly lied to try to get me to pay a debt that I am not responsible for paying. I want it to stop!

I took out this loan in XXXX. In XXXX I paid off all of the advanced places I received a loan from. Making small payments while employed and unemployed. XXXX the let me know that XXXX was going to sue me UNTIL they saw the student loans on my credit report. She proceeded to argue stating that they will do a " hearing '' regarding my account. Its been 9 yrs and there has been no contact nor any letter. XXXX stated XXXX contacted me in XXXX and many phone calls and I hung up on them which is completely UNTRUE.

On XX/XX/2019, D2 Management called my work phone. The woman that I spoke with was deliberately rude. After disconnecting the call I called the company back and asked that they no longer contact my work phone. They man that I spoke with refused to document my request unless I give my social security number, which I informed him I am not comfortable disclosing over the phone. After speaking with multiple people and being transferred multiple times (while each person refused to honor my request), I asked for the company address to send a certified letter. The "supervisor" that I spoke with told me "this is a two-way street, if you want something you have to give me something. I need you to verify this information". I again told her I am not comfortable disclosing that information over the phone and again asked for the address so that I could send a certified letter and request that they not contact me at work. Again the woman refused. I had to search the internet to find the address.

D2 Management repeatedly calls my phone number and my wife 's phone number using local spoof numbers. They don't identify the company they are calling from until asked several times and they get nasty and rude when identifying the company. Neither of us have any debt at all and nothing in collections. The company refuses to send us proof of debt or give us any information over the phone. They literally don't even want to tell us the name of the company until we provide them with the last four of our SSN, which we will not do. I have repeatedly told them that I will not give out my info to someone randomly on the phone. They can identify themselves, use their real phone number and even ask me to confirm what they have after they tell me at least part of what they have but I will not give my information first. According to the XXXX this seems to be what they do to everyone they call. This is a huge red flag for a scam company. Their most recent call was XX/XX/2021 from XXXX.

He then became rude and stated that he would not mail or email any corospondiance to me and would take this as a refusual to pay and would see me in court. I stated to him that i had visited the establishment that was said i owed monies and was told by its employees that i had no account in their system. Received a call from D2 Management from XXXX on XX/XX/23 @ XXXX a woman identified as employee of the company she confirmed my first and last name and proceeded to give me the last four of my SSN unprompted. She disclosed personally identifying information without proper verification. Then when asked for referral # and original acc # for validation of debt she proceeded to offer to collect on amt owed and not provide information as requested and insisted this was for me and proceeded to give me my ENTIRE SSN, again unprompted as my call was on SPEAKER PHONE anyone could have heard this! I insisted on the information I requested to validate the debt and ended the call. The way the rep spoke to me was abusive trying to use my personal information as a weapon to scare me into paying a debt that happens to be in my name. This is a violation of personal information that could damage my identify if given to anyone that says they have the same name!

On XXXX, I received another call from D2 Management wanted me to take a message for XXXX XXXX which one of many calls. They are calling me on my cellphone and not the home phone. Any creditor I have does not have access to my mobile phone number. The last person I spoke to was asked to remove my phone number and to cease calling me. I called spoke XXXX-to phone to request a cease and desist with the phone calls. I told her I do not give my mobile number to any creditor nor anyone else but family. She says so you are XXXX and continued to ask how they got my phone number ..she says youre only making it harder on yourself and we will get you. After threatening me, XXXX hung up in my face so I call back for an address. She placed me on while I was talking then came back to phone. I told I would file the complaint through an agency. I do not owe anything to any creditors nor do I owe any money to a debt collector.

I received a call regarding a balance ( {$140.00} ) on a payday loan from XXXX XXXX. I advised I did not take out a loan with XXXX XXXX for that dollar amount and settled the account with a different collections agency. The rep asked me to fax the receipt. I advised I had to find it since it's been well over a year. I called the debt collector ( D2M ) today and advised I found my receipt but did not have the ability to fax it at this time. I asked if I could email it and was advise that wasn't an acceptable form of transmission. I then proceeded to advise the rep that I am disputing the debt and requested that they send me documentation supporting their claim. The rep advised I had to settle the outstanding amount prior to them sending supporting documentation for the claim. The rep continued to advise they are not required to send me anything showing proof of this transaction and hung up.

The caller asked for me, stated the last XXXX numbers of my XXXX and continued to say I owed this money and without paying I 'd be served small claims summons for various infractions. When I asked for verification and stated I had no knowledge of this debt I was told I did n't need it and the call was disconnected. On XXXX XXXX , 2017 I again got a call with the same initial statements. When I told the lady I had no idea what she was talking about, she gave generalized information and stated that the only notification I would receive would be court summons. When I asked to not be called again and was disconnecting the call, I was then told this was an attempt to collect a debt.

I received a telephone call from D2 management the week of XXXX about a XXXX XXXX debt that is from XXXX. I explained to the debt collector that I will not be paying the debt because it was an invalid debt then and it is still an invalid debt now. I also explained with the age of the debt there is no reason for me to resolve because I have more recent things on my credit that I need to clear up. I then explained that I wanted communication to cease and desist. The call ended. Yet they proceeded to place another phone call on XX/XX/XXXX with a voicemail left for me. The voicemail never stated the company name or that it was a call from a debt collector. When returning the call I realized it was the same company. They acknowledged that I advised not to call a week prior. I requested the recordings in which I was denied.

XXXX XXXX (? ) from XXXX XXXX XXXX. called my wife 's phone asking for me. He wanted to verify my social and DOB without telling me who he was calling on behalf of. Gave ma a call back number and was very rude. I told him I would not verify information, but if he told me what company i supposedly owed, I would contact them directly. I called them back from my phone and they knew who I was as soon as they answered and told them to validate the debt and send paperwork to my address since they know so much about me. Said they could not send anything without verifying my identity first. Asked for a business address and they gave me an address in XXXX, SC and was calling from a local phone number in XXXX, Or. I do not plan on responding until they validate the debt.

I received a call from XXXX threatening to have me arrested. They also called my daughter and my employer. The calls and messages were very threatening. They told me to call XXXX. When I called the number, I was told I was being sued and it was a debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had previously been called about this same debt by D2 management. When D2 management refused to send me proof of debt, I contacted the XXXX. The responses I got from the company were not satisfactory and very rude. It seems as though D2 management gave this debt to the company that called me today. Neither company can provide me written proof of debt. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX directly, and they informed me that I don't owe them anything. I don't know the name of the company that called me today.

The agents I spoke to were not only incredibly rude, but also refused to identify what their company did until I verified my personal information. They were harrassing until the point where I verified the information they had, and then they refused to provide me with a bill showing the amount I owed. The supervisor I spoke to ( after being transferred by the first abusive agent ) said that they would be unable to provide me with any documentation until after I paid. I explained that I would not pay until I received notice about what it is I was to be paying ( to avoid shady collection scams ), and was told my account would be documented appropriately but that they had " already sent me enough bills over the years, '' none of which I have received.

I paid my account settlement in full and the collection company is not willing to delete my account from the bureaus. Other companies either delete after paying in full or have claimed the same that they do not delete but do in fact delete when a CFPB complaint is filed. its not right to the consumers who faithfully pay there debt in full hoping to clear their bad credit history in order to regain their life back. And the average person doesnt even know about the CFPB. So they stay stuck with the bad history. Its just not right for companies like these to not delete just because they choose not too. And we wonder why there is so much poverty and homelessness in the community. Something needs to change ... ... ....

From what I can tell, someone is selling my information to fake debt collecting companies. These companies then proceed to call with threats of impeding arrest, and demands for immediate payment with no written correspondence. They are calling my parents threatening that I need to call them else they will hand deliver warrants at the home or that I need to schedule time at my place of work and have both my manager and security personnel present for document deliveries. D2 Management Called today to inform me of a debt that I owed to a company that I know I had previously paid off. I became suspicious of the call when I was getting terrible customer service and she almost hung up on me when I stated calmly and politely that I needed her to send me information regarding the alleged debt, so that I could seek legal counsel on the legitimacy. At that point she said the only thing that could be sent to me was an agreement for payment plan. After that, I was told that since I wanted to talk to legal counsel, she would enter me as a REFUSAL and report me to the IRS.

On XX/XX/XXXX2015 I filed a complaint with CFPB letting you know this company has incorrect information on me. I have no idea what they are talking about. However, I am exhausted from these people threatening me with being served if I don't respond. In the 2015 complaint, it stated the complaint is not to contact me. They have AGAIN. I had to explain the same thing over. I DO NOT owe any payday loans or any banks. This is harrassment at it's best.

They, being D2M from XXXX Ohio, called MY cell phone XXXX demanding information about someone I know, but refused any real identification where they were from or what they wanted. Additionally, they are unprofessional and hung up on me. If they call my cell again I will demand restitution.
