Cypress Collections Professional Collection Agency XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX Re : Reference # XXXX Client # XXXX Thank you for your inquiry. I do in fact dispute the claim of {$120.00} plus the additional interest that was erroneously billed to me and certainly, your threats to damage my credit worthiness.
I am a Veteran under the care of the Veterans Administration at XXXX XXXX. I have communicated with Doctors on Duty and have told them that their claim needs to be filed with the Veterans Administration. I also told Doctors on Duty that I would talk to the VA regarding the erroneous billing for my approved office visit. I talked to my primary care doctor at the VA and was told that there is a record of an authorized request for medical service on XX/XX/XXXX. Initially I told this to Doctors on Duty bookeeper. I clearly told the Doctors on Duty staff that the VA sent me and that I needed to be evaluated for XXXX because of XXXX XXXX and that I was a veteran. The reason for this going to collection is clearly not my doing. It is in fact Doctors on Duty responsibility to bill the VA as per their contract ( a requirement that they did not do ) Embroiling me in their mishap with a threat of affecting my credit worthiness is disturbing at best.
I have contacted the Community Provider division of VA and have filed an Adverse Credit Report - XXXX. Cypress Collection as well as Doctors on Duty have been notified to cease and desist their illegal claim. If in fact my credit worthiness is affected, I will sue for defamation of character and elder abuse of an ailing veteran.
I am willing to pursue a course of action against both Doctors on Duty and Cypress if this persists any longer. I defended my country with dignity and courage and expect respect and thanks for my service, rather than being threatened and abused by Doctors on Duty and Cypress Collections.

In XXXX I had a medical bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I did not have the money to pay the debt at the time. I sent a cease of communications after talking to Cypress Collections. I spoke to XXXX then, who was very rude and would not work with me. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I reached out to Cypress Collections and asked to speak to a Supervisor. I then waited briefly and spoke to XXXX who claimed she was a Supervisor. XXXX then stated she was a supervisor/ manager/co-owner who did not want to work with me and then kept interrupting me as I spoke and kept telling me ; '' no and it 's not going to happen. '' XXXX then disconnected the phone call without an cause or informing myself. I did pay {$50.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and stated the following ; " to make a payment on the account as I know it 's past due. ''
