Curtwright & Klein, LLC called me using XXXX. The person callling refuses to identify himself. I 've asked him 5 times not to call me at work because I can be fired. They use vulgar language and threaten me with legal action. They are a collection agency not the original creditor. I am writing the state attorneys General Office for Texas, and also copying the debtor 's so-called " compliance '' department regarding violation of the FCRA because Curtwright & Klein use of threats, other means, use obscene or profane language, falsely represent that the debt collector represents a state or federal government, gives me misleading information on the amount or legal status of a debt and declare it is " Pre-Legal '' giving the false implication that debt collector is an attorney or law enforcement officer, or that nonpayment of a debt will result in arrest or imprisonment, and cause my telephone to ring repeatedly with intent to annoy, abuse or harass. Please enforce the law regarding this type of horrible harassing behavior.

On numerous occasions, my wife and I have been contacted by representatives from a company named " Curtwright & Klein, LLC ''. The messages are usually quite vague, stating that the person is " trying to get in touch with XXXX '' ( my brother ) and that they 'd appreciate if we could help them get in touch with him due to an " urgent matter ''. In most instances, only a return phone number is left and no mention of debt collection.
My wife and I are estranged from my brother and have no way of getting in touch with him. At several points over the last month, we have called this collection agency back and asked to be removed. They have not respected our request and continue to call us. Sometimes it 's a live person, other times it 's a recording, and the caller ID varies.

The continuously call me at work, which connects you to an IVR that states, " I 'm calling in regards to an issue very recently filed within our office involving your name and social security number ''. Either hit " XXXX '' or call XXXX to speak to a representative. I hit " XXXX '' and a rep came stating he was an attorney and needs to verify my name and social security number. I refuse and ask what it 's all about. The gentleman at the other ends becomes belligerent and threatens to sue if I do n't clear up the matter at hand. Yet he does n't state what it 's about unless I give my name and ss #. The caller ID shows either XXXX or XXXX, which is a spoofed phone number. XXXX the XXXX number shows it 's a collection agency.

Collector keeps calling at my place of employment. It is a recorded call, so if anyone else answers the call them they may be able to access my information. I asked collector to not call my at work, as I am not allowed to have personal calls on a business line.

The company Kurtwright and Klein LLC has called me three times over two days in an attempt to get contact information for my deceased father 's widow. I have told them I do not know how to contact her, and I firmly told them in every call not to call me back.
