I tried to purchase a car from a dealer, XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX Florida, they then ran my credit 8 times consecutively and told me I had to return a few days later before I could purchase a car. The subsequent credit checks caused my credit to drop 80 points from a XXXX to a XXXX they then referred me to a nearby credit union for " special '' financing. The rates were outrageous and they knew I had no choice because my current vehicle was beyond repair. I was then left with no choice but to pay an extremely high rate on a base model car.
