I called XXXX XXXX Partners to apply for a loan as I did with several other Lenders. Trying to find the best rates I had applied with at least 5 lenders. Each lender had me sign something to give them permission to pull my credit report. Crux had me sign something also and I thought they were going to pull credit as well. A couple of days later they called me and asked me to provide my credit report to them through Experion, which I did even though I wondered why they didn't pull it themselves as had the others. I then found out I had been approved through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with a good rate and decided to use them. When XXXX called again I told them I had decided to use XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. He then began to pressure me to give him the lenders information and other information regarding the loan I had procured. I was not comfortable with that I didn't tell him, but said he could give me his best and final offer. He then texted later and asked again for my lenders information, I again said that they were competitors and I was not comfortable sharing that information. He said he wanted to call them I told him not to. He apparently did his own research and found my lenders name and number and called her. He proceeded to tell her that he was working with me and that now we would all be working together. She was surprised and didn't give him any information about the loan that he asked her for. He continued to try and reach out to me for the next two days and since I was busy, I responded via text telling him once again I was choosing to go with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, as he could not beat their rates and I thanked him and asked him why he had called her after I asked him not to. He then responded on text and lied saying his partner had called but she had his name..so I knew it was him. He also took credit for getting me the rate with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. He then had his company send her an invoice with the copy of the paper I had signed asking her to send it to title so they could be paid at closing in the amount of {$11000.00} for a consulting fee and application fee. They did not find me a loan and I had no intention of hiring them. I feel they tricked me into signing this paper and now are trying to get me to pay them for nothing. XXXX XXXX and his partner XXXX were the people I was dealing with. I have the texts on my phone if needed
