On XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX at XXXX I requested for an extension of credit pursuant to 12 CFR 215.3 to Credova Financial LLC through their online website, according to the Truth in Lending Act 15 USC 1602 ( f ) to have " Credit '' is my Right to incur Debt and defer its payment. After filling out the application and providing the company with my personal information, social security & credit card number 15 USC 1602 ( 1 ) they responded to me through email at XXXX minutes after I submitted the application with an Adverse Action pursuant to 15 USC 1691 ( d ) ( 6 ) denying me my right to credit. Within this Adverse action the company Credova Financial LLC have broken the law ( 6 ) times Violating FDCPA and FCRA pursuant to title 15 USC 1692f ,15 USC 1692j, 15 USC 1692e ( 10 ) ,15 USC 1692d, 15 USC 1681q, and 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( 2 ) In the adverse action the company informed to me that they gave the offer " careful consideration '' but noted that the " Application information provided can not be verified. '' which is false because they provide me with a credit score and said, '' Our decision was based in whole or part on information in a credit report. '' then soon after mention that " The credit reporting agency played no part in our decision. '' which is very misleading considering what was just said to me the sentence before. Then finally at the end of the letter they stated, " We obtained your credit score from the credit reporting agency and used it to make our decision. '' which is deception and contradicts everything that was recently said in the beginning of the letter about not being able to verify the information. At that moment Credova Financial LLC charged my credit card for the purpose of obtaining services on credit pursuant to 15 USC 1602 ( 1 ) in doing so made an inquiry on my consumer report while simultaneously denying me credit by use of false and misleading representation through an adverse action letter. Credova Financial LLC committed a crime pursuant to 15 USC 1611 ( 1 ). The entire Adverse Action letter was false and misleading representation 15 USC 1692e, unfair practices 15 USC 1692f, Harassment 15 USC 1692d, furnishing certain deceptive forms15 USC 1692j and obtaining information under false pretenses 15 USC 1681q and held no accuracy & fairness of credit reporting according to Title 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( 2 ).

I applied through Credova for a line of credit to purchase some firearms. I was approved with a limit of {$1000.00} on an open line. I used XXXX to order ( 3 ) firearms and one box of ammo for one of the firearms. I ordered a " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - 20 '' Barrel, 7 rounds, Synthetic with a description stating the firearm was a " Semi-Auto action ''. This means that its not " pump-action ''. For {$250.00} it should be that price. You can get the Pump-Actions for $ XXXX {$150.00} range. We I went to pickup my order they opened the box to find a Pump-Action shotgun from XXXX in there. I have contacted XXXX SEVERAL times over the course of 5 days and received one reply initially asking for more info, ( which i provided ) and no reply. I attempted to contact again several times, no response. I then contacted Credova via chat last weekend advising of all of the above and a rep was very rude and non-helpful. I revoked the autopay out of my account in writing during the chat until this issue is resolved and the XXXX is taken off of my order amount since I never took ownership, ( It's still sitting at XXXX ) . XXXX has refused to contact me nor has Credova called me even after a rep told me a supervisor would reach out via phone to me on XX/XX/2023. That never happened. This complaint is due to Credova being the finance company and stating on their website that if a consumer disputes something and has tried to reach out to the merchant ( XXXX ) that they would reach out. I advised the rep via chat I tried and to no avail, the rep refused to reach out in violation of their own company guidelines posted on their website. Now we have Credova falsely advertising their guarantees on their website to actually refuse them. I did not receive what I ordered from XXXX and I want to speak with Credova about it. I have spent hours and missed work to deal with this issue and am seeking compensation for my time and effort to resolve this conflict.

I have lived at the home address at the top of this letter since XXXX ( A copy of electric bill from XXXX is attached ). I purchased a American Eskimo from a pet store in XXXX at the very start of what would become the COVID pandemic and was told that I could get a loan with no interest on the dog. I was guided through the application and signing at the desk with a staff member who did not show me any paperwork, said everything to me word of mouth and instructed me to sign documents that were not viewable until after everything was done. They completely lied about how the entire operation worked. My plan was to get the puppy and then use my tax return to pay off the sale amount around a month later. When I called Credova to pay off the dog they told me that I had to pay well over XXXX dollars with a XXXX sale price. I tried to return the dog because I couldnt afford it but they told me that I will still be responsible for the entire amount and that I was leasing the animal. I HAD NO IDEA this was never shown to me or instructed until after my paperwork was sent after the sale was done. Fast forward until now, Leasing animals in Virginia is illegal ( i was not aware ) they have sold my account to collections, XXXX XXXX for a amount owed of XXXX. This is absolutely frivolous and new to me against the law. The contract I viewed clearly states I am leasing which is clearly illegal. I am terrified this will go on my credit or I will continue to be harassed with letters after I told them I was taken advantage of at the store and could not afford that amount.

My previous CFPB complaint was closed without any REAL investigation. I provided a FTC identity theft report as well as proof from of my credit reporting displaying inaccurate reporting from this collection company. If the debt is indeed valid, how is that my XXXX report is showing 100 % PAID... meaning NO PAYMENTS MISSED, while XXXX is missing completely, and XXXX has gaps in payment? This company did NOT do their due diligence into investigating my claim. Instead, I was sent a copy and paste letter with demanding sensitive documents such as a driver license ( which I will NOT provide to a company with such blatant disregard for the law. ) They sent me a contract that has a digital signature of my name ( simply written out as " XXXX XXXX '' ) and nothing else showing that this debt is in fact mine. I will be making a complaint to my state 's attorney general, XXXX XXXX XXXX as well as Mississippi 's attorney general XXXX XXXX XXXX to assist me with combatting the illegal practices of this collection agency. I will not provide you with my driver license. I have provided you with my FTC report and proof of your tacky and inaccurate reporting. This entire dialogue will be forwarded to any government official who can assist me with this.

My account number with them is XXXX I applied for a loan to the sum of {$930.00} for a firearm accessory purchase online. The term was 12 months, at {$93.00} a month. In XXXX of 2022 I called and requested to pay off the remaining balance and made a lump sum payment if {$580.00}. In late XXXX I discovered they still held a balance on the account and had future charges I still owed. Between then and now I have called multiple times to resolve this matter. When I talked to a representative they said that what happened was the representative I talked to in XXXX failed to create a payoff process when I requested to payoff the loan. I would need to speak to the billing department over this issue. The billing department will not return my calls. I've called and emailed numerous times. My last conversation was a week ago in which I used their chat system to talk to a rep about this issue. They assured me that not only would they reach out to billing, a supervisor would call me back. I have not heard back. They refuse to address this issue.

Again, we never got a phone call, email, text, mail or anything that there was a balance. They say they are FDIC. They are not. They are making money based on customers miss the 90 day window as I did.. I would have never used if I had to {$80.00} in interest. I received a phone call at the beginning of XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a firearm thru XXXX XXXX using Credova which was marketed as a buy now pay later program, In the contract given to me it stated there were XXXX items, when i only purchased XXXX firearm, the documents given to me by XXXX XXXX XXXX, who Credova gave my debt to or whatever, state that the open balance is a little over XXXX dollars, when the firearm i bought and received is worth over just a little over XXXX dollars, this loan is a 0 % APR loan, so logically the open balance should only be XXXX or so dollars, the worth of the firearm. When I spoke with someone at Credova on XX/XX/XXXX, they said that because I went past the 30 day " buyout Period '' at the start of my contract, it DOUBLES the amount of the purchase, that's the verbatim reply of the customer service rep. That sounds absolutely CRIMINAL! No where on the contract does it say " the items value will be doubled if this Early buyout method is not used '', its criminal! XXXX forbid a lawyer takes a look at this!

I just received a letter from your company stating that I owe an outstanding balance. This letter is not a refusal to pay, however, I would like to let your company know that I am disputing your claim. Under the FDCPA, I am allowed to request verification from third party collection agencies. As you know, not complying with FDCPA will put your company in a bad position with the FTC, so I am asking that your company supply me with a copy of the following : 1.Proof that you either own or were assigned the debt from the creditor 2.Proof that you have the right to collect this debt in my state 3.Proof that your company carries a bond 4.Proof on how your company assessed the outstanding debt 5.Payment history from the original creditor 6.Name and address from the original creditor 7.Copy of the original contract bearing my signature

Credova illegally sold my account to two other companies. My agreement clearly stated that if my account was to be sold, i was to be notified in writing. That did not occur. They sold my account immediately and I have now been harassed for more than 6 months. The new company has no record of my payments made and can not provide me any information as to who they are or why they hold my account without permission. Additionally, credova tripled the amount due to them in that first 30 days of the installment plan. I have gotten the run around since XX/XX/2022 and no one seems to be able to answer my questions. Additionally, the illegal account holder at the new company also sold my information to a company called XXXX who is now harassing me as well.

I'm actively working with the appropriate agencies as I'm disputing the debt as a result identity theft, as I did not incur said debt that I was notified to pay.
