I had taken out a student from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. The due dates according to the contact is on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. Around this time, the economy was bad and I was barely making a living. The XXXX XXXX association called me that year and told me about my loans being past due. I notified them that I could n't make any payments at the time. The XXXX XXXX association informed me that my interest rate would go up and I will be hit with fines and collections. There was nothing I could do about it, so I let it happen. Then XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX representative ), sent the information to collections in XXXX XXXX, XXXX, called Credit World Services. Credit World Services called quite a few times in the past and I told them that I did n't have the funds to pay and to stop calling me. In XXXX, I had finished my bankruptcy and wanted to know if a new terms and conditions would be possible with the XXXX XXXX XXXX. So I contacted XXXX XXXX in XXXX, and she asked me if and when I can make a payment. I let her know that I can only afford {$75.00} and she said that is fine. I asked her about the late fees and interest being reduced and she said it does n't seem like it would be an issue on their end, but she will need to reach out to Credit World Services. Since she could n't call them, she decided to have me reach out to them. I contacted Credit World Services and spoke to a female representative. The representative from Credit World Services stated that he does n't know of any such arrangements and she was concerned about Credit World Services getting paid for their services. The representative told me she would have to contact me later until she heard something from the original account. Months pass and then on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I get a summons in the mail to appear in court. I was confused about the entire law suit because no one has decided to contact me back. I contacted XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and she told me that she will have to do more research and get back to me. This seems very similar to our last conversation. As I am looking at the law, the statute of limitations has passed on the creditor suing me. It has been way more than 5 years, and it violated the FDCPA and FTC. KS Statue 60-520 XXXX payment or acknowledgment of liability. ( a ) Effect. In any case founded on contract, when any part of the principal or interest shall have been paid, or an acknowledgment of an existing liability, debt or claim, or any promise to pay the same, shall have been made, an action may be brought in such case within the period prescribed for the same, after such payment, acknowledgment or promise ; but such acknowledgment or promise must be in writing, signed by the party to be charged thereby. Also, Statue 60-511 states that a lawsuit must be within 5 years upon the agreement, contract, or promise in writing. The Credit World Services and XXXX XXXX XXXX are in violation of these acts and it should be investigated.

I have a debt on my credit report from a company named XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$850.00}. I called XXXX XXXX whom are representing this company, spoke to a gentleman at CREDIT WORLD stated this is a Kansas account opened on XX/XX/XXXX. I was asked if I have purchased any properties in XXXX, I said no. I reside in California and do not have anything to do with XXXX. I am a victim of Identity theft. Credit world has all my personal information, they told me I need to prove this was not me and prove where I live. I have not opened any accounts in Kansas at all. How can I prove this was not me? Also, ever since the pandemic in XXXX, my XXXX debit card number was compromised and someone was using it and purchasing so many things under my name and debit card. I had to submit a claim to Bank XXXX XXXX in XXXX. It was investigated and the funds were returned to me. Also, now I see another debt on my credit report. it is from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX creator. I have no idea who this is and what it is for. Someone is usinf my personal information to open accounts and now it is impacting me. How can I prove I have not opened these accounts? Please assist me. They have all my information which the debt collectors have. Again, I am a victim of identity theft which stems from XXXX, the XXXX Dept provided personal information to the theives who continue to use my information to open accounts. This is not right. Received statement in the mail about collection, I called asking for validation and was dealing with a very rude collection agent who then got her supervisor XXXX on the line! I asked XXXX for wet signature of the contract for which they are collection on, I asked for a company letterhead to include employee and managers name, the amount this collection company paid for this account and a copy of the companies XXXX and ein number. XXXX stated she would have to contact the original creditor for thisinformation so I wonder how are they reporting this debt without any information but the amount! XXXX aso stated she did not have to provide me with any XXXX or ein unless a 3rd party was making a payment, which I do n't understand! because they requesting payment from me and want all my information to makeup this debt! yet I do n't know who these people are! bottom line I is not my debt and they have not given me anything proving its mine yet they report it to XXXX XXXX XXXX! this is very illegal ... stop reporting or send me all documents I asked u for!

A debt originating with a Creditor was erroneously assigned to Credit World Services , Inc. XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted the Creditor confirming and correcting the error. XX/XX/XXXX I sent a letter of dispute requesting new verification of debt to Credit World Services , Inc. who then refused in writing to provide a new verification of debt. I resumed payment to the Creditor as previously arranged until the debt was satisfied XX/XX/XXXX. I have received several phone calls each containing harassment from " representatives '' and individuals claiming to be affiliated with Credit World Services , Inc. despite formal written request that all communications be in writing. The alleged amount owed as claimed by Credit World Services , Inc. has varied by a significant margin. Credit World Services , Inc. reported to XXXX that I had an account in collections XX/XX/XXXX. This deliberate, malicious, false, claim and misrepresentation of the truth has caused severe financial hardship through a compromised credit rating.

After pulling a copy of my credit report i notice that there was a reporting on my credit from Credit world service. I sent them a letter in regard to what they were reporting on XX/XX/2020 certified tracking XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. As of today this collection agency is still reporting on my credit report. i have no contract and dont recall signing any contract with this agency. They failed to provide me any viable evidence, bearing my signature, showing the account is being reported accurately. i also would like to know who claim to have " verified : without providing any proof, bearing my signature. As per FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, they should be aware that a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. that is why not only i dont understand why they are reporting an account knowing i have no knowledge of doing any transactions with Credit world service.

I have an outstanding balance with XXXX University. I have been paying them for years. I relocated from my original state : XXXX to XXXX. I did not receive any notifications from XXXX University or the creditors about collecting a debt. As soon as I started paying down the debt again and had less than {$2800.00} left XXXX XXXX ( ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) ( from XXXX University XXXX contacted me and tried to get me to pay more money than I owed. She said she sent me to credit world, but I did not receive any notification from them until I started paying down my debt again. Even though they had my email and contact number nobody called until after I started paying the debt she almost doubled the amount I have left. If this harassment does not stop I would like XXXX and credit world to know we are going to end up in court. I have my proof and documentation. This harassment needs to end immediately.

On XX/XX/2021 I spoke with a " XXXX '' who was just rude and refused to let me talk numerous amount of times. I had to hang up with XXXX who was " assigned '' my case and called back and got another gentleman. The man tried telling me " I had no credit experience in the creditor world '' because I told him an itemization letter was not validation of debt... He began talking about lawyers and how his company takes people to court and he knows the letter will work then. He insinuated I had no assets for them to come after and so on. I asked were these threats and he continuiously stated no, I said so you're using scare tactics. The conversation escalated and he was supposed to give me a supervisor in which he left me on hold for a long time and I hung up.

I have submitted a total of 3 letters to both the creditor and the collection agency, disputing the amount attempting to be collected based on amount due after insurance payment, and to date have received no response from either the creditor or collection agency. I submitted a letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, second letter sent XX/XX/XXXX, and a third letter to Credit World Services on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX, the total charges were {$1100.00}, and XXXX paid XXXX XXXX XXXX {$840.00}, leaving my balance at {$280.00}. XXXX XXXX XXXX is attempting to collect {$780.00}, and because this is a Kansas government based agency, they are now utilizing the debt offset program to seize my state refund to pay the debt.

Credit World has been notified on four occasions that a debt they are showing active on my credit report was discharged in a bankruptcy RE : XXXX XXXX XXXX Case No. XXXX. They continue to show it open although the have been notified. I don't even believe the debt is valid as I never received anything with regards to the debt it just appeared on my report and was the ncluded in a chapter XXXX. I have called Credit World three times the were suppose to send me a report showing the validity of the debt which I never received. They need to remove this or so it discharged and not active they refuse to do this. This collection agency is notorious for not abiding by the Fair Debt Laws.

I have tried to remedy the issue that Credit Word caused as Credit Work indicated to me that XXXX could not remove a discharge debt from my report because of two social security numbers. In fact it was not two ssn 's but rather my deceased husbands DOB XX/XX/XXXX was on my report. Credit Word is notorious for reporting incorrect data so i am going to get this resolved through CEPB. Attached please find the bankruptcy discharge notification and a copy of the requested drivers license with my DOB, XX/XX/XXXX. I expect that the debt for XXXX placed by Credit World to be removed as all the requested documentation is included in the correspondence.

I checked my credit score in which I now see a debt of {$850.00} from a company named XXXX XXXX XXXX which I have never heard of. Indicates this was opened as of XX/XX/2021. I have no idea who this is. Plus shows the debt collector is CREDIT WORLD SERVICE. I have not received anything in the mail indicating details of this so called debt. And I am getting strange phone calls from folks that do not say my name when leaving messages and do not leave phone numbers either. In XX/XX/XXXX I requested my transcripts from XXXX XXXX University and realized I had a financial hold on my record. I paid off the amount that was told to me and they released my transcripts. In XX/XX/XXXX, I requested my transcripts again and an additional hold was placed on the same day that I advised if there was anything left to pay and was told my account was cleared. No one can advise what this hold is for and why was it added after the fact, I attended this university for 1 year in XXXX.

Are you kidding me? the last time the spoke to me was XXXX2018? I have been contacting them through the CFPB. Are they really that lame? I was told it takes 30 days for this to be removed and we are now into the 90 day time frame and it is still on the XXXX report.
