I applied to XXXX XXXX to apply for downpayment assistance on a house that I would like to purchase. Their site recommends certain mortgage companies. I chose XXXX XXXX XXXX. After the income was assessed, they did a credit check. XXXX uses uses Credit Technology Inc to provide credit checks for their applicants. When I checked the three credit bureaus, my credit score were higher than the minimum required by XXXX XXXX. The credit report that XXXX was kind enough to share with me indicates " XXXX - SERIOUS DELINQUENCY, AND DEROGATORY PUBLIC RECORD OR COLLECTION FILED XXXX - TIME SINCE DELINQUENCY IS TOO RECENT OR UNKNOWN XXXX - LENGTH OF TIME SINCE DEROGATORY PUBLIC RECORD OR COLLECTION IS TOO SHORT XXXX - NUMBER OF ACCOUNTS WITH DELINQUENCY FA - NUMBER OF INQUIRIES ADVERSELY AFFECTED THE SCORE, BUT NOT SIGNIFICANTLY. I have uploaded the copies of the XXXX report and the reports from all 3 credit bureaus. The collection was a collection agency on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which was canceled in favor of another company. The notice was be telephone and I had an automatic debit payment that was not discontinued. I brought this issue to XXXX XXXX last Fall. The website does not indicate any accounts nor billing. XXXX XXXX phone agent was adamant that they do not report to the credit bureau and in fact the notice was placed by a collection agency. The agency did not seem to know when or how it was placed nor how to annul it because they can not see it on their end. Now that single notice disqualifies me from purchasing the last home in my life time. I am writing to you for advice on how to resolve this issue with the credit so that XXXX can be compliant with the downpayment assistance programs to help me purchase the home of my choice. XXXX and XXXX did not include the collection report of {$330.00} in their reports but XXXX did. I have a single revolving account, a XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card. If I purchase a home, I will have the mortgage payment that will be reflected in the credit report. Please help me resolve this last step towards qualifying for a downpayment assistance program. Good morning, I'm contacting you guys about a matter that's been going on and still I have no results. I happened to check my credit report on XX/XX/2019 and noticed a company that was on my report through XXXX. The customer service rwp asked if I filled a tenant application for a apartment in XXXX, Ca I told her no and that I'm miles away from that city. I was told to call the company which I did and spoke to someone named XXXX. She told me to hold the line and she transferred me to that correct department to speak to a XXXX. I explained with a brief message what's going on and how I need a letter from them to send to XXXX to get this off my report asap.I still haven't received a message from this company I call them at least 1 to 2 times a week with no results. I have put in a complaint w/ the XXXX also w/ Department of Justice they tell me tjat it's being worked on. I do have proof of these letters from both departments. I did explain also that the XXXX and on this company website Credit Technology Inc is nothing but complaints reagrding the same situation I'm gooing through and more. I really need help with this XXXX is asking me for a letter that I can't even get through this bogus company to have removed from my credit report. This company needs to be investigated ASAP this is not right for us consumers.

I want to state that this is complaint is from the Actual Consumer XXXX XXXX and not a third party of any kind. I looked at my XXXX credit report recently and found an unauthorized inquiry reporting on my credit report. I wrote XXXX a letter on XX/XX/XXXX to try to get this inaccurate information deleted from my credit report since it is hurting my credit profile and costing me money in higher interest rates. Due to COVID-19, it was necessary that I take care of my elderly parents, and needed to have mail forwarded, but as it turns out not everything was arriving. As soon as I discovered the discrepancy I dealt with balances in full. As of of now both cards do not carry a balance but these missed payments have made a major impact on my credit score.
