In XX/XX/2018, I entered into a contract with a company called Credit Mount to help repair my credit and increase my score. In the end what they did was damage my credit even more to the point of sending out fraudulent letter stating I am dispute the validity of all my accounts. This caused fraud alerts on everyone of my open accounts and also caused one account to be closed.
I have emails from a rep from them stating that they would fix everything and even the manager who said that this never should of happened and that he would fix it as well and then continued to send out these fraudulent letters claiming I was disputing all my accounts.
I contacted a legal service who stated that it is illegal for a company to obtain a fee for credit services in the state of New York, prior to the services being completed. I paid them a total of {$1200.00}. I have requested a refund and the legal service has as well and they have ignored all requests.
I believe that, Credit Mount has violated 15 U.S. Code 1679b. Prohibited practices, and I am looking for action to be taken against them. They have caused irreparable damage to my credit and I also want a FULL refund!!
